It’s incredibly disappointing to know that Spur would package in such poor condition and send it out thinking that it might even slightly be remotely presentable, let alone edible. The food was completely cold and I wouldn’t be surprised if they cooked it on their kitchen floor.For future reference, spend that extra R10 to order from a different Spur because at least you’d be paying for a guarantee that your order won’t arrive cold and looking like it’s been torn up by dogs.

My nieces and I came here for lunch and, as always, Rodeo Spur didnt disappoint. Good service and even better food 😋

Food was good, nice play area for the kids, waiter was friendly. I would suggest lowering the music volume as it makes it a bit difficult to converse with your company at the table.

Kids always enjoy the play place. The monthly specials arent as popular/frequent as they used to be.

If I could discribe this spur in 3 words. Kind warm and friendly. They made me feel special and I I was only there to collect. Food was great, we really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and great energy!

It was a good experience staff was great and friendly, and manager was very attentive. I would have giving 5 stars but when we arrived our table booking that we requested 2 weeks before the time was given to other customers when we arrived.They made arrangements for another table close to where we initially wanted but it was directly over the door, and we had quite a cold draft especially over the kiddies every time someone exited or entered the store, therefore booking and requesting a table closer to play area especially for the children was made ahead of time.

The food was good, prepared as requested. The lighting was dimmer than other Spurs, yet the atmosphere was pleasant. My wife liked the size, said it was cozy. Only gripe is a distant waitress, not very interactive.

I have not been at the Spur for more than a year . My visit was driven by my craving for the rib and chicken meal. First the ribs was cold and had to be warmed then the chicken was not cooked properly and was bloody close to the bone.The good service of the waitress and manager was wonderful but I will not be going a Spur soon. I really feel that Spur generally has lost their signature taste.

On entering, we were greeted and assisted and welcomed. We had a problem with our children birthday meals however Cecelia the manager was very friendly and helpful. I havent been to Spur in a very long time and decided to take the family out for breakfast. OMW what a disaster. We waited nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive and when it did all our meat was basically raw. Sent it back to wait another 30 minutes for them to re grill the meat only to come back raw again. Never again. Spur is definitely not the same anymore. Never going back there again.

This is one of our favorite Spur restaurants to visit. The food is great especially the ribs. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. Very popular eatery and you may have to wait for a table on busy nights. I suggest calling ahead on weekends and around Payday as it gets busy in the evening.

Waiters were excellent and quickFood was typical spur quality. Only drawback was it was exceptionally hot day and I needed a frozen drink. As they have virgin cocktails on the menu it wudve been perfect. But they had no stock of any cocktails and blender was broken. So have adequate stock for summer please. Other then that pleasant evening. Family restaurant.

Havent been going to Spur Claremont since before lockdown 2020, my family had some bad experience with the food back then, however we went there again today and my whole family was so surprised to see they totally improved from their service to their food, especially the manager Shanique, she went over above to get us a table and took our order herself. 5 stars to Spur Claremont and the manager, will definitely be going there more regularly. Food took almost an hour to come. And when it eventually did. It was ice cold. Turns out its been sitting on the pass waiting for my friends sandwich to toast but the pass wasnt hot enough to keep the food warm!🙄🤦🏾‍♀️

We had boeka at Rodeo Spur on Saturday night.We got falooda, dates and samoosas (for free!) to break our fast.The dua and Athaan played when it was time to eat and there is a Jamaat Khana to make Salaah.There was also a Ramadaan special available.I reallllllllly appreciate how accommodating they are and the food was amazing!! Definitely recommend.

The staff on the floor as well as the kitchen makes a lot of noise, resulting in a bad dining experience. Im a big supporter of Spur and try to visit different branches often. This one definitely falls in my bottom 5

Was there last night hour early(5pm) with kids that were fasting whole day apparently no booking of tables but yet tables were booked we only go in at 7pm...service ok the steaks were horrible well done steak made medium and medium steaks basically still alive...you guys really need to vang tips from Kenilworth and vangates spur as their food and service are worlds apart from yours wont be returning manager clearly doesnt know whats going on in that restaurant

Was at spur for breakfast. Sunny side up medium eggs perfect, steak perfect, mushrooms perfect. Sausage is...okay. service was great. Price is worth it although itll probably be some before I can afford them again but I look forward to it . Best spur Ive ever been to.

Food took forever to come eventually came and was cold and just wasnt nice at all asked to change the meal manager eventually did it for us we enjoyed it after but we were already put off by the ribs needed to use the bathroom it was so filthy and stinking from the door at the bathroom already.. really so bad the experience tonight

Just love the food options for kids. My daughter (2 years old) is a fussy eater but she thoroughly enjoyed her chicken (real chicken fillet, grilled) and many healthy sides to choose from. Not to mention how awesome my chicken schnitzel and my husbands Mexican stacked burger was!

Quality has dropped drastically, stuffed up 2 orders of steak first got a sirloin with more fat than steak on it. Sent it back got a second steak that was like rubber, Sent back as well and would rather not eat. Only reason gave 2 stars staff were friendly but thats about it.

I brought my full team from work for our end of year meal. We had a the worst experience and would not recommend this Spur to anyone. First of all we had a salad with lettuce that was turning brown and fewer ingredients sent it back and got more or less worse salad than the first. And the ribs were tough not fall off the bone even for beef ribs it was not at all at par with what l had exeperienced at other Spur branches we got crumbles for onion rings l mean its just not acceptable, to top it off the floor manager came to backlash the kitchen manager with us as if to make the situation better but l was not impressed. They promised to contact me and am still waiting. Super annoyed and one star is an understatement no star at all.

This spur was clean and we were greeted by a wall of waiters as we entered, a little annoying in the morning to have so many eyes on you as you come up the escalator. Once seated waiter forgot our wifi codes and didnt seem to enthused on having clients in. He was very one worded, and good order taker so be to sure to mention everything you want, as inititive looks like it can be a challenge at times by certain waiters. The food was prepared quickly though.

Celebrated my birthday yesterday and had supper with my kids at about 6-8pm. The food were quick and delicious.The waiter were totally awesome. I wish I had her name. 😔
