This spur is THE BEST!!!! its spoiled me soooo much that when I go to a different spur I wanna cry because their service and food is unmatched. I cannot have a spur breakfast anywhere else anymore because I get disappointed and hurt because theirs is 🔥🔥🔥 I always get a latte with a side of caramel sauce to make a Caramel Latte, when I go to other spurs theyll be telling me the caramel sauce is for this and that like Im asking them to marry me, which just ruins the whole experience. Soooo this spur honestly made me appreciate what they offer. Love it here. Food comes out fast. Sizzling hot and delicious ALWAYS!!!!

Good service,waiters are friendly,however takeaways are always delayed,even when the restaurant is empty. Utensils are never included in takeaways,no plastic fork or knife,not sure why?.. overall, the staff are very friendly

Good food. I use the space to get some of my work done. They have Wi-Fi and charging spots. So, when I visit this Spur, I stay for like 3 hours. Their service is amazing with the waitrons checking if you enjoying the hospitality.

Their meat is always tough. Especially when you order online using MrD/ Uber Eats or Bolt Food.So disappointing.

I just ordered Apache Combo through Uber Eats, upon receiving my order i ate chips and onion rings. Surprisingly when i open the meat, I was served with a quarter chicken instead of Buffalo wings, and the chicken and pork chops is off. I want my refund. I have also left a review on the uber eats app. This will affect the business because whoever packs the food thinks that they can do as they please. I would have ordered chicken if i wanted to.

My family and I had the most amazing lunch here today and we sat there for more than an hour after paying with no one asking us to leave or asking anything at all. The premises are immaculately clean. The ambience was amazing. The staff was funny and really helpful and professional at the same time. Ill definitely recommend this restaurant and cant wait to visit again.

My food had hair, I had to wait + 15 minutes after I was done eating for the waitress to bring my bill. When I came in I had to wait for other people who were not with me to finish writing their names on that covid regulations spreadsheet before I was taken to my table of which the lady said she wanted to take all of us at the same time. Officially redeemed.*I fell ill with a stomach virus a few weeks back and lodged a complaint with Spur headquarters, certain that I contracted the virus from their nachos. I was contacted the following Monday by the establishment per email and per phone who expressed their sincere apologies. Spur Ottawa also conducted a full internal investigation, educated their staff once again regarding health and safety practices to avoid food-related contamination;,reviewed footage to ensure there was no intentional food tampering and invited me back when I was ready for a free meal of my choosing. I returned to Spur Ottawa and they upheld their promise, taking responsibility for the incident in a manner that did not make me feel intimidated or unwelcome at all. I will certainly be returning in the future.Well done to the Spur Ottawa Operations Manager, Otis for dealing this incident responsibly and professionally. Health-related incidents are rare, but do happen; I can only assume that I was simply unlucky this time round.

As always friendly waitrons. The Buffalo wings were a tad stringy and dry, but after we were asked by the Manager if everything was in order and we mentioned the wings, it was whisked away and within minutes a fresh batch arrived. I was at this restaurant with my colleagues and we received horrible service from our waiter, who did not even introduce himself. Our waiter also sighed a few times while taking our orders and was clearly annoyed, he took his own time with our bill as well and once again, got annoyed and left when a manager took our payments. Food took really long to reach our table but was good. Due to the bad customer service and long wait times, I would not recommend.

No restrooms in the restaurant. The malls public toilets down the hallway has to be used. Not ideal if youre 1 adult with several kids and need to make bathroom runs. Staff were accommodating nonetheless

Customers can be loud with no consideration for fellow diners. But this happens everywhere, especially my favorite afterwork end-of-week Friday spot, Mugg N Bean.Lastly, we miss the outside balcony seating when the weather is good.

Crowd control / seating selection requires improvement.... ... Food is good. Waiting time for food is unreasonably long.... Almost feels like the kitchen is understaffed to serve the number of tables. Took more than an hour after placing our order to getting any part of the ordered meal. Was not a large table.... This is NOT the best spur to go to. Not even close. The service here is very slow, and staff moral seems to be very low. The food is okay, but other spurs do it better. If you have kids, although this spur has 2 play areas, at times there will be only one staff member to look after 2 areas of kids. If you would like a very mediocre or underwhelming experience.. Then this is the spur for that.I have been to this spur multiple times and each time they fail to improve on the last.

Spur restaurants are the sponsor of Springbok rugby and they always seem to be full in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town where as the Ottawa Spur in Cavendish, Claremont in the Southern Suburbs seems to be less full at the best of times. As in the Springbok and Super Rugby adverts Spur people are burger, steaks and ribs people and boy do the chefs cook meat well! They also have great breakfast specials and dont forget Monday night burgers for R55 each! Ice-cream and waffles also make for a great dessert and you can also even have a throw back to another era by ordering a coke or fanta float with ice-cream added in to your cooldrink! Gotta love it! You will definitely leave full and satisfied!

There Monday Burger Specials are the biggest waist of money! Bland, tiny and tasteless! And the service I received there was a joke. I enjoy Spur. However this branch will not see me again. Nor will I ever buy another burger special from any branch. Shocking!

I was very dissapointed in their breakfast this morning have been going there for a long time food was always good and service but today we sent our chips back and when it came back it was still hard like fried in old oil the eggs were messy and oily and the toast was cold and still bread.
