I really try hard to not order from here but due to staying around the corner to this Spur, I say to myself surely they cant mess up AGAIN.Last sit down visit - incorrect flavoured milkshake and off spinach and butternut was received.Last 2 Bolt eats delivery orders - today was 4 items missing! previous time: the sauces were missing. When collecting those 2 items, the waiter made us wait 25 minutes for the sauces as well as making us feel bad because we were lucky to get the sauce they only have a little left and no apology was received.However, tonight, the female manager sarcastically says we are welcome to change delivery to collection so that we can go through the delivery bags with the people. And she also said oh are you back here only for those 4 items? Yes, in fact we are because we are collecting what we paid for! Also the inconvenience of coming through to collect the missing items after paying for delivery and tipping the guy. You should actually apologize for wasting my time.In fact, one of the replaced items are not up to standard either.The bar one milkshakes are great though, however Im never ordering from Spur Acapulco again, due to bad management and disappointment.

I cannot remember when last I visited A Spur but thanks to somebody pointing that the Acapulco Spur in Bergvliet has the best Hamburgers, I decided to see for myself. The restaurant is spacious and people were very safely seated apart. Covid requirements were strictly adhered to and I felt very comfortable as we were seated in a quiet booth to the one side of the room.I chose the Burger with grilled bacon, melted cheese and Guacamole served with crispy fried onion rings and golden chips, fresh lettuce and tomato. It was decadently delicious despite the rolls being a bit soft. It was so good that I went back for another and this time chose the double burger which arrived with a large pot of Guacamole and crispy sweet potato chips. I’m definitely going to try the ribs next time.

I have been ordering there online for the past 6 months or so and honestly their food is the best. Everything is cooked to perfection and fresh; their tomato, burger rolls, fries etc. I am a picky person so l always put instructions with my order but their team is amazing, always follow instructions and deliver the best. I love this place and hope one day l will be able to visit and have a sit down meal. And your fries are unbelievable, not soggy and oily its just perfect.

Food took a little long to come,but do not know what the staffing situation is like with the covid protocols..But the experience was good.

Its a lovely lively noisey place with staff rushing around, kids rushing around and parents looking like they needed a break. We did wait a long time for service but our happiness made this almost unimportant.

Went there for our Sunday morning breakfast with my lady (first time at this Spur) and we were very impressed with the place!It has been fully renovated and looks a class up from compared to the other Spurs weve been at.The service was excellent, didnt have to wait for anything and all came exactly as we ordered - we do make some changes on our orders as my lady is vegan.Their chips slightly differs from the rest and very tasty. The eggs came perfect too.Definitely will visit again!

Waited very long for our food looks like the delivery orders are more important than the guest who is sitting down to order.

Friendly service, seating area and walking space was clean. Most importantly, our orders were still hot when they arrived at our table. Food and presentation was good too.

Had their breakfast on special, which was nice. Cuppicino was excellent and very hot, which is exactly how I like it. Will probably go there again.

We went early so the place was quiet, however the service was swift, friendly and professional. We had the cheddar- melt special . Im not normally a burger person, but this burger was done to my taste.Done not dry and the cheese and onion rings had me and my wife sighing after the meal. Well done.

Went here once before, and had a terrible experience. I thought it might be an isolated incident and decided to order from them tonight. I was so wrong. The chips and onion rings we got were drenched in oil to the point that there was a pool of it at the bottom of the box. The pork chop my partner had was undercooked and inedible. The ribs, as well as the pork chop were basted, but it seems the cook forgot that salt and pepper even exists. Dont even bother to reply with your automated message... I wont be coming back. But I send this in hope that you improve your quality for your current and future customers.

Last night we went to this Spur in Ladies Mile which we always have gone to. I found it strange that they were unusually quiet on Saturday night, but now I think I know why. We had the most horrific steak. I still cant believe that they serve such disgusting steak to their customers. The steak is on special R89,90. We all had Rump and oh my word, it was as tough as hell and I can only discribe it as been terrible. Even leftovers were not eaten, and we dont waste steak. Word of warning, stay away from that steak they offer on special, its like eating horse meat. Ill never go back to Spur again, so disgusted.

Very disappointed. Ordered a take out. Told ready in 10 to 15 minutes then it took over 30 minutes. Would of almost justified if they were busy but there were only 4 other people in there as they were closing. Got home with in 2 minutes of getting the order, to find that the meal was cold.Need to up their game as it is tough times for restaurants and there is alot of restaurants out there that have burgers.

Orders are never correct and the service is terrible.The manager is rude with an awful attitude. Shame.

So disappointed. We came for breakfast and didnt have to wait for a table too long, which was great seeing as how busy they were. But being seated for more than half an hour, no one even gave us a menu or acknowledged us at the table despite being seated right at the entrance. When raising my hand for a menu I was told theyre looking. A waiter then came, but before I could say anything he walked to another table to take someone elses order. More time passed and said waiter came to put two meals on our table and when I said we didnt order yet he just disappeared again. This is a spur that weve been coming to for years, so this experience was felt!

My all time favorite spur! The service has been excellent every single time, feels like a family. Atmosphere is inviting and food has been great quality. It’s also nice and clean. Management and staff have made experiences the best.

Try not to go to Spur often because its the only place our parents took us to growing up and the only place I took my kids to when they were smaller. I always enjoy myself and love the new way they serving food. It is great to see a restaurant that us so well established keeping up with the times. I then introduced my daughters to something i used to have years ago when it was still R9.90. I need to say it was amazing like it was back then. Included a pic.

If you arent interested in your present customers, then just close and just be an online kitchen. Our waiter vanished and when we got bored and decided to leave I had to pay at the till. Its sad that since the pandemic started I have been trying to be extra generous with tipping, but in this case there was nothing to be generous about. Aparently all the staff were super busy with online or phone in orders. And these take priority over the poor suckers who actually brought their kids and came in person.

This spur has been at this location since I was a toddler. The crew that is working there doesnt seem to change either. They offer a high standard of Spur food and drinks. Place is always clean. Theres enough parking outside and its free. No stairs to climb.

We use to visit Spur Bergvliet on a weekly basis sunday morning after service. our Seat was dirty on the T-section & onions was on the floor. I have pictures. When the waiter brought the food, I asked him if the table & seat was sanitized. We wanted to move but declined after he explained he first have to clean down the other table. after this incident, I got a dried out burger with dry onions that tasted horrible. I soaked my chips & onion in sauce which I dont normally do to give it a taste. I tasted my husbands burger & IT was dry but he added chips + guacamole on his burger to make it tasty. My son had texan guacamole which he said was nice.. Well i wont be visiting Bergvliet again. THE WORST PART IS, WHEN YOU LOOK FOR A WAITER OR A STAFF MEMBER YOU DONT SEE THEM BUT YOU HEAR THEM . With covid would you not want to be more hygiene & give your best quality food

Food nothing spectacular. However had the worst service experience weve had in a very long time. Absent manager, waiters having to help in the kitchen, broken lights and tv. Was laughed at when mentioned. Restaurant not even close to capacity. Guest at our tables had to take their own temperatures. Covid protocols very disappointing when compared to other nearby Spurs. Definitely wont be back as sadly not the first bad experience.

General area was clean enough, service was very slow and food was very oily, snitzel was overcooked. Then I needed to use their ladies and unfortunately they looked worse than public toilets. Just overall a bummer of an experience.

Just walked out of Spur ladiesmile the worst service I ever got at Spur i ordered they brought my coffee and just forgot about my food I waited 25min until the waiter saw me and realised that I still didnt get my food the Manager gave me a laim excuse.They spoiled my entire day I will never go to that Spur again I went to the Spur in Plumstead I got my food in 10min no hassles.

My previous rating of Acapulco Spur Bergvliet was 5 star, but I have been forced to revise this.Since Covid and lockdown started, the quality of food and service from this Spur has dropped to unacceptable levels. I would not recommend them, particularly for take out.During 10 months I have ordered from this location 5 times and not once has my order been acceptable. From uncooked or oil drenched chips, to dry and tasteless burgers. They have gotten drinks wrong. And worse yet their side portions have shrunk which for a R90+ meal is extremely stingy.I have made complaints to inhouse management which I will say they acted upon at the time and rectified errors very pleasantly. However, it seems that it was just a quick fix and they have not made any noticable improvements amongst their kitchen staffs performance.Before thinking of excusing this as a strain of the times, Little Creek Spur Tokai in the next suburb over is still delivering top quality service. I think it would be in Spur Corporates best interest to get involved and take a hand.Again, I suggest avoiding this Spur, and trying one of the other two branches nearby.

My experience started off rocky but the willingness of Jadee and Standton(RM) to address the issues was amazing. The store is quiet and has a lovely atmosphere. My waitress Leana was lovely and worked really hard the whole time I was there. Well done I will be going back there often.

The place is spotless, very friendly waiters and waitresses. The basic breakfast is unbelievably just under £2 or 35 rand with small portion of chips, two eggs, 2 toast a large slice of tomato and rashers of bacon. The bacon was salty and not great. However, we buy bacon produced on a farm so unfair to compare. They will cook eggs however you like them. Can buy additions for a £1 and the choice is excellent for breakfast, can get steak and eggs etc.

The seats were dirty as was the table. Had to ask for the menu. Menu was grimey and sticky. Took long time for drinks order to arrive. Waiter forgot 2nd drinks order.Ladies toilet seat broken and toilets dirty, both male and female.Bad control of customers, some just walked in without hand sanitizer and mask wearing.Dont think we will be back

One of the nicer Spurs. Lively on Friday nights and food was well prepared and served timeously. Good, professional service too. I like that they have CCTV cameras in the play area and one of the big TV screens projects what is happening; this gives parents peace of mind that their kids are safe. Good job Spur!

Pathetic (I know its Covid) we wanted to support the restaurant but there were only 2 waiters and chefs. We waited for 35 minutes for a milk shake and a glass of water. Another 20 minutes later still NO food, then decided to leave. It was noticed that the take aways received priority.Oh! The milk shake was excellent.

Albeit difficult times one does not expect a well renowned family restaurant to be nonplussed regarding the current covid-19 regulatory compliance legislation.When we arrived our temperatures were checked and once seated, had to fill in the questionnaire and declaration form. No problems here. 10 out of 10 so far.As we looked about we noticed little to no mask wearing of seated Patrons yet to be served and the Waitrons were passing from one table to the next handling items that had been in contact with in masked Patrons not visably sanitising their hands as they went.The Childrens Play Area was unmanned during the duration 52minutes if our stay and children would come and go as they do.Problem is is that hardly any at all had masks, foot coverings or sanitised at entry or exit although there was a bottle of sanitizer available for use.On Staff mask compliance. Sadly once more Staff were often incorrectly wearing their masks, noses out etc, and one seasoned Lady Waitron was not wearing the mask at all but rather as a necklace. She was often at the Pass and handled many plates of food.The food was tasty as always albeit in a greatly reduced serving. Less chips, onion rings, lettuce and one slice of pickle each.We left hungry 😔.Sadly we shall not be eating at this Spur in the near future, our family safety outweighs the COVID risk. Probably the best Spur Southern Side of Cape Town, had the Cheese and mushroom sauce Burger with chips and onion rings, it was delicious 5/5. My wife had the ribs that were average 3/5. The inside has just been revamped and is very clean and comfortable. Service was good. Bonus is that parking is right outside the door. Nice Sundsy night chow!

Another solid spur experience, friendly staff, great service. I enjoyed one of the breakfasts and it was great. All of there plates, cutlery and such has been upgraded and it looks very nice.

Best service, friendly staff, manager always checking to see that everything is fine. Lovely atmosphere although only visited during the week so not to many families but enjoy the quiet bustle while relaxing and enjoying a meal. Absolutely enjoy the experience each visit.
