Always a wonderful time had at Seat! We come here often and every plate has always been superb whether its been at breakfast, lunch or supper.One of my favourite dishes is the Patagonian Calamari. They also have amazing drinks specials!This is seriously the place to go...and not to mention the view is out of this world!!!Awesome location, staff, food and views!!

Talk about BRUNCH! Seat is lovely - the sushi is FRESH, the Cocktails are DELISH and Hubby said the Waffle was too TASTY. Also, there is such a vibe and the view of the ocean and the mountain is stunning. P. S. I cant remember the name of my cocktail but it was recommended by the most amazingly sweet and funny server named Thandeka and I think it should be renamed after her; she made our experience extra special! See you again soon.

The food was amazing. We ordered the sea food platter and surf and turf. Mhmm the portions were very generous to our liking. The ambience fantastic. Overall experience was A amazing

Lovely gem on blouberg strand. Really close to the mycity bus stop. Also convenient parking. Local place which is pet friendly. Extensive cocktail menu and fresh fish. Seat also has a variety of other food. But me not being permanently situated near the ocean went with fish. The service is great and the atmosphere breathtaking. Especially the sunset after a walk on the beach. What is better than enjoying the sunset and table mountain with a cocktail on the beach. Me being a chef myself recommended Seat 100%.

The food here has been good every time. Some good specials, service is good. There is a wheelchair friendly entrance and there is plenty of parking outside or under ground. There is an amazing view of the ocean and Table Mountain. The restaurant has indoor as well as outdoor seating.

Enjoyed ourselves waiter was very attentive drinks arrived promptly. Sushi was fresh and well made. Food was delicious. For a Saturday they had a draught special two 500ml castle lite for R 60 bucks.

Ive always just walked past this restaurant but decided that this time we would stop and enjoy a lovely breakfast with stunning views of the ocean and Table Mountain. We had an amazing waiter who was very accomodating, as I am very fussy when it comes to my eggs. They need to be scrambled but well done and I dont want to see any white pieces. Unfortunately the kitchen staff didnt get it right the first time but the waiter was very understanding and offered to have it made the way I had initially asked. He came back with a perfect plate of well done yellow scrabbled eggs... You wont believe how happy that made me. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, paired with a delicious Latte and Cappuccino. The only thing that freaked me out abit, was that that restaurant was dog friendly but never the less that didnt stop us from enjoying a beautiful relaxing morning at the beachfront Seat Restaurant.

If I could do a zero star I would. First we were greeted by the most unfriendly waitress I have ever encountered, then we were seated at a dirty table and was waiting for over 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. By far the worse restaurant experience ever. Kfc has better service.

I love the views and its nice when a restaurant understands their clients. Nice easy food, clean, great vibe with freindly staff and plently of drinks and food options. If anything there might be too much variety because there were pizza, sushi, grills, fish and burgers on the menu.My kid loved it as well but I wish they still had the big kids play area. Its nice that its close to the lawns so you can keep an eye on them and eat

Great setting and nice menu with wide range of options. Pick of the day at our table was the Hake & Chips. The premium burger is only premium in price. The steak I ordered was also not worth the price. The sushi is good but pricy - if it is sushi you want I suggest Cape Town Asia also in the complex.Our drinks order was perfect and well priced - definitely the place for sundowners.The kitchen door made a huge bang every time someone entered the seating area. Very annoying and the manager was full of excuses but did nothing to fix the noise.On the upside our waiter Joseph was a star and we received really good service from him.If you are a group of people meeting for lunch/dinner and everyone would like something different then this could be your place, but expect average food for the money you part with.

Sadly had a terrible meal there, service was fine, tasteless food, it seems more of a pub, so if you have a few drinks I am sure the food wont taste so bad. Disappointed, especially with a lovely view and poor food

I am so happy that Seat opened again! I missed this restaurant so much! The service we had was phenomenal, the manager (forgot his name) waitored us for the day! Fresh oysters, flavourful Prawns and then, I believe their steaks are a winner!

This restaurant is located at the perfect place. The staff are friendly and the service is great. There is the outside seating option or more to the inside with your feet in the sand. Cash bar available. Perfect for a sundowner with that special person or some drinks after work with your friends. Normally have good specials available. Highly recommended for your next trip to Eden on the Bay.

The food was good. The service needs to be jacked up. When a waitress took our order for drinks and food, it arrived promptly, but we had to wait a while before we were attended to.

I think this place is a little gem with great potential to be really awesome for a go to place for amazing food and stunning beach view and backdrop of the Iconic Table mountain.Got to meet the GM, what a nice man! The staff was very well spoken and very attentive to us. There was one waiter in particular, I cant get his name, not even our waiter but he constantly came over to our table to make sure if everything was fine and if anything was needed. Very polite. I believe a business is only as good as the way patrons/customers are treated by the staff of that place. So thank you.I enjoyed the food, it wasnt too busy when I was there, but definitely a place worth popping by if you find yourself trying to decide what you want to eat.Basically, good food, iconic view and very nice people. What more does one need? Live music perhaps? Yes, they have that as well. :)Thank you Seat for the really kind a good service.

Nice setting, generally good value for money. Disappointing calamari squid dish. Some improvement on the food quality would be great.

The service was absolutely terrible. We were seated and handed menus without any sort of communication. We waited almost 45minutes for the meal after ordering, and when it arrived the calamari was severly over cooked. This is supposed to be a sea food restaurant. The calamari tasted like rubber. I am a fair person but I really do not recommend this restaurant.

I visited Seat Restaurant on Christmas Eve. What a lovely experience. The restaurant is situated at a great location, with an absolutely breathtaking view of Table Mountain and Cape Towns beautiful beaches. The food was delicious, and prices were reasonable. The staff also provided excellent service, and they were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this jewel of a restaurant.

Big Bay. Seat Restaurant. Lovely vibe, friendly staff and good menu. Ordered grilled hake and chips. Chips one of the best, fresh, spiced well and super hot. All beautifully done and presented. Heard from the tables around us that the sushi was really good. Cleanliness was great, even the menus were sanitised! Great to see the manager and he stopped at each table. Well done, I am impressed.

Been here a few times to pass a few hours while waiting on life’s to do their school stuff. The view of beach and table mountain is fantastic and good food and drinks at reasonable prices.Music is not always my taste but definitely a good spot.

Hello Folks!I wish to share our excellent Final Lunch experience today.My daughter is returning to Uni tomorrow, up North and we thought it great for her to have a final few hours at Eden at the SEAT Restaurant, to take it all in, one last time.Stunning setting, excellent vibe, delicious and perfectly cooked food, ordered from an extensive Menu. Our waiter Debony was super friendly and always around to suggest or assist. Lunch was served in no time at all. He is undoubtedly a great asset to SEAT Restaurant.The music was mellow, old fave Afrikaans songs, sung in French, what a treat.Much fun was had, everyone enjoyed and had a most relaxed Lunch...albeit the howling wind outside...we will certainly be back for more soon. Thank you to the SEAT Team for a memorable afternoon.

I have seen a few bad reviews for Seat, but we have been there four times in the past year, and have thoroughly enjoyed each time. It is one of our favourites, and they are on the Entertainer. It is our go-to restaurant when we want to relax with a great view.

The food was absolutley great and location is fabulous. The only thing is that the waiters are not cleaning the tables properly, they only brush through on top of tables with a dry cloth leaving food particles and also not using sanitizer.

The location is unmatched with a beautiful view of table mountain and the bay. The service was not great. Waiter struggled to sort out drinks correctly. The food was good and well prepared, but not brought out at the same time. If you dont mind the service the food is good. Unhelpful waitresess
