This place made one of if not the biggest burgeer I have ever had best experience plz I love coming to this particular spur

Good dayI am highly dissatisfied with the level of service we received as a family of 7 on 18 oct at the ottery hyper spur branch. We arrived there just after 5pm. We waited 20 min before a guy named wayne announced himself as our waitor. He said he would be back shortly and we never saw him again. After another 20 min I asked the lady in front to get us a waitor to take our order. She just said ok and after another 15 min a lady named Sybil  came to take our order. We waited quite a while for our food and once we were done eating the manager walked past and noticed our empty plates. He took it away and we asked him for the bill and take away boxes as we never saw our waitress again. We are regular customers there and its not the first time this has happened to us. The place was quiet and there were hardly waitors visible. When we try to flag a waitor they look at you and walk to another table. I am not happy and we almost left to another branch but i didnt want to disappoint my kids that were playing in the play area. Please ask your waitors and waitresses to adjust there attitudes and be more vigilant and friendly. I spent most of the time looking for assistance for my order and eventually for the bill. Thanks to the manager for his assistance!

The waiters have passion for their jobs. Having someone with a smile serve you and constantly come to your table just incase youre in need of their assistance is out of this world. I am glad I finally found Spur catering halaal food. I will definitely go there again.Their food and portion are satisfying. The atmosphere around the place is something else. Worst experience ever!!! Spurs quality and customer service has gone down the drain. Took us an hour to get our drinks after being seated, food came in stages by the time i received my food most of our party had already finished their meal. No place mats on the tables, table was sticky and not wiped down, no condiments either. I wouldnt recommend this spur to anyone even if it were the last restaurant on earth. Extremely appalled. Money wouldve been better spent at Burger King.

Can spur pls add tomato sauce to their condiments when they place it on tables

The quality of the food has dropped, my burger meal qualified for a Mc Donalds meal only on a plate. The atmosphere is run down and old, the store needs a major revamp to make us customers feel like our support is worth the experience of coming there. The only thing I enjoyed was my milkshake.

The worst experience Ive ever had a spur, I worked at a spur myself a good couple of years ago, and one we were seated it took forever for a waiter to come and ask us for our drinks , drinks never came , the food was burnt, when asked to see a manager, manager never came , my childs nuggets was burnt my burger tasted like it was boiled, no taste , waiter seemed like he just forgot about us constantly, I waited so long to even get his attention to get my bill, I paid in front , when I brought my concerns to the lady in front it wasnt acknowledged . The manager never came although I asked, I had the worst experience I had , I left feeling disgusted, hungry and shocked out of my mind .

Waiter provided good service. Buffalo wings were amazing. Burger was a bit dry, sauces complimented the meal. Otherwise enjoyable meal.

I was really impressed at the service I have received at this spur..from being warm welcomed by friendly staff..I sat down and my waitet was extremely efficient, always checking up if I need anything and made me feel very comfortable..he even joked around and said see you tomorrow..my best experience Ive had at any spur..our waiter gave us testers before we ordered..gave his opinion on what to order and also recommended certain refreshments for our benefit..best service!!!highly recommended!!!

By far my favourite spur to go to. This spur is fully halaal. It tends to have an unwarranted negative perception regarding the quality of food however I have not been disappointed once. Service is always up to standard. It usually is very busy on Monday evenings due to the burger special. What sets this spur apart from the others Ive been to in CPT is the generally chilled vibe (with the exception of Monday evenings), whereas the other spurs are usually a bit noisy.

The waiter was lovely, however the food arrived cold, and we had to request for it to be reheated. I must say the manager immediately came to apologize for the inconvenience. But, a break in a meal spoils the intent and the meal.

I have not had a steak at any Spur Restaurant in a long while however, this one was really nothing to right home about. 200g mildly thick on on one end and completely flat on the other end with little to no taste. The fried chips and onion rings were as normal though, hence the 2 stars ...

The service in the place can really use an over-hauling... The limited staff for so many customers is ridiculous, not to mention we waited at least 15mins for someone to come to the front and take our temp and was kinda pointless coz the form was completed at the entrance and before Temps were taken. I didnt like that I was told that adults arent allowed to stay in the play area, and after I left the amount of adults the entered and stayed in the area was a big worry. My child also didnt enjoy the play area. Some staff was blatantly uninterested in being there and this was the lady who greeted us and showed us to a table. The only thing enjoyable was the food. I couldnt properly identify the manager there to inform on the issues and really just couldnt eat faster so I could get out of there.

Tasneem, the manager was really awesome. She managed to get my steak perfect after it initially wasnt.

One cannot rely give a true rating due to Covid-19 protocols being in place (all protocols were followed at Twin Peak Spur Steak Ranch (Halaal), therefore I gave it 3 stars but the food is 5 star rating, the 3 stars is for the long wait due to them dutifully following the law by implementing the Covid-19 protocols.

Celebrated both my sons birthdays at spur, the kids love to go there cause of the play area

I dont usually do reviews but my experience here does not even deserve the 1 star rate. Been there today with the family for a meal and and waited at least 10 minutes for a waitress. We had some glitch with birthday vouchers but nevertheless. The waitress that eventually came did not even ask if we wanted anything else and we ended up leaving. In all my time visiting spurs around the cape this is my first bad experience. Im dont usually do the review thing as i dont like complaining but as someone that has worked in this industry i would not go back there.

I think anyone would agree with me, when i say Spur has to make effort in spicing up their menu. Its been the same for the longest time ever!

Thursday night was the second time visiting this spur during lockdown. Both times were terrible. First time the steak was tasteless and underdone, sent it back for it to come back completely destroyed, didnt even eat it. This past Thursday we got the burger special and wow it must be the worst burgers Ive eaten, definitely wasted my money. I wouldnt go back to that spur again. You guys need to relook your specials, if you are going to give customers a discount atleast make a decent burger.

I could not fault the food. We all know the cheddar melt burger, paired with a chocolate brownie, hits the spot.However, the vibe is always off. There arent enough waitrons. I had to flag one down after waiting for more than 15 minutes.Also, the background music is way too loud. I went there to enjoy a nice meal, but I could hardly speak to my fianceé, who was sitting right across from me. We scoffed the food down and bolted for the door as soon as we could. All in all? Definitely not a place you want to take your family. Rather settle for a King Pie and a Coke. Youd be getting much better service.

Food is always good! The waiters are always really helpful. Just not too keen on the front desk personnel, they are not very welcoming. But other than that, I always have a good experience

I waisted my money I regret going there the food was so bad shame the chicken was raw then we addressed the issue with the waiter he took the chicken away then boom it came back black still raw inside felt like vomiting 🤮🤮. Its sometimes a coin toss when it comes to delivery but if you go in to pick up the food its accurate and quite delicious.

Hi there im very disappointed in the food and the milkshakes the Bar one shakes myself and my husband ordered looked like normal vanilla shakes and tastes nothing like bar one i even went through my pictures to compare them with bar one shakes previously ordered...The steak that was part of my big bear combo was under done nd the chicken was tastless very very disappointed i was looking forward to a wonderful meal

The front desk service, was the worst service I have ever seen! If you dont want to smile and be in the Customer Service industry then dont do Customer Service! We waited 10 MINUTES at the Entrance only to find the front desk lady standing at the back on her phone. The entire approach to the seating.. To the snide stares we wanted to so much stand and leave if only we didnt value the staff that took our order. Even the staff of Twin Peak Spur Ottery just shook their head when I asked about the Front Desk Lady. Really Bad Experience! Disgusted! Fatima! You should really value your Customers!

My previous experience was good, this time around, I was disappointed: - in the long wait, the general poor service, no checking if we needed dessert and eventually my wife ended up going to the counter to ask for the bill.We waited long for our order with my steak not done to order. If I had to send it back, we might have waited a tad bit longer, so ate it as it - a bit too chewy for my liking. Normally I am not adventurous in wanting to try out new meals as many times Ive been disappointed, so I try to take the same meal based on previous experience.The girls loved the place due to enjoying the play area which has supervision.We will give them another go sometimes and if not, go somewhere else.

Twin Peak Spur is one of 4 fully halaal Spur Steak Ranches in Cape Town. That makes it a go to for many Muslims.Excellent service , from calling ahead for reserving a table and then calling again to order your meal for it to be ready on arrival. Bar a few minutes , excellently executed by friendly staff.Play area for kiddies and games area for bigger kids and some adults 🙂.Wheelchair access and toilets available.Definitely recommended 👍

Despite the google time showing they close at 11pm. They said they trying to change it. How are you planning to change it if your doors are still wide open. Close it if your want to close at 10pm. The we still got off milkshakes and sour guacamole for ordering just be 10:30pm. Then the MOD said maybe its the cream decor, cz she wants us to pay. Im sorry I pay for good health as well.Never unless I dont have a choice. Id rather just order a can drink and chips.

The service was outstanding. Our waitress was very accommodating esp since we were a very difficult lot to satisfy.The meat was cooked just right as well as the fries and onions. Other around the table has chicken burgers who apparently suffered with bad stomachs the next day.I enjoyed my food. Keep up the good service!

I was there last night Sat. 26 October 2019 at 10pm and had a 400g ribs. The portion was very small and I complained to the very friendly manager who responded by adding another full portion to the small one without asking any questions. I think its excellent customer service. Thumbs up to the manager.

Portions have shrunk bought ribs 800g got ribblets they dont even give you a bowl of lemon water for your hands anymore and they wont serve there specials when you sit down only to go I was very annoyed by the lack of spur greatness we have all come to love over the years is this how all spur branches are nowadays if that is the case then Im sorry but I wont step a foot in the door again Ill just order the special to go sad 😔

This is by far the worst Spur Ive ever been to, not sure whats going on there in terms of service. Where is the manager? Why is he or she not walking around the restaurant checking on customers, checking on staff and if theyre handling the workload? It wouldnt hurt to help out if you see your staff are not coping.My boyfriend and I had the loveliest waiter Solly. Clearly he was new, but he was really friendly and helpful.When we arrived we were seated at an extremely filthy table and asked to move. At the new table, it was exactly the same so we asked our waiter if he could wipe the table and he did so promptly.Service was extremely slow, we probably waited for food for about an hour and when it eventually arrived, it was half cold in certain spots. Ravenous, we didnt even bother sending it back, just ate it.My boyfriend also mentioned the reduction in size of your coffees. Last time we were there it was much larger. Size reduction, but the price is still the same?Our waiter printed out our bill and we asked him to check our card for any discounts. We had R50 off so we asked him if he could reprint it, but when he went to the hostess, and asked for a reprint, she proceeded to shout at him and said Go to the manager, what do I look like. This is extremely unnecessary and disrespectful. Fatima the hostess should really learn how to properly communicate with others. Dont shout at staff in front of customers. Doubt well be back to this Spur.

Tonights service was so horrible. My waiter was so unfriendly it was unbelievable. I went with a friend and my nieces and nephew, after ordering our food, we waited so long to be served and eventually when we got our food it was hard, cold and hardly edible. The place wasnt even that packed for a Monday night special but the quality of the food and service was ridiculous. For a glass of WATER that comes straight out of the tap, I waited almost an hour for. When we left I asked the waiter for a packet to put my leftover burger in and I had to remind her more than once, eventually I just fetched my own. Never again will I ever trust this spur. It was a horrible experience and very upsetting.

The waiter did not know what was on the menu, the kit hen staff did not know how to make the vegan nachos and they put actual dairy cheese on the vegan nachos as well as feta cheese and did not tell us but obviously knew it was dairy cheese. Very deceptive. Would not recommend at all.

My Saturday afternoon outing, screams a cuppa!! What a downer when I was greeted by an unenthusiastic waiter. I asked for a glass of cold water and was absolutely appalled upon his return with a fatty stained glass. I noted on the condition of the glass and he seemed rather surprised as though he did not pour the glass of water. Several attempts to get the attention of other waiters for assistance, but they were too busy with their own discussions. Wait! was that a mouse I saw running towards the kitchen?? Im outta here...

They changed cutlery and the knives are horrible it cannot cut through toast and our waiter didnt sing for our birthday girl and we only realised once we left, not cool.🙁we waited long for breakfast I assume as it because they were waiting on a particular item we ordered.The food was good and they have a new tagging system for the little ones which is a good system. It beeps when the child goes out by the front door.
