If I go to Spur, I go because I know exactly what Im going to get. A family restaurant with good burgers and schnitzel, chips that is very nice and onion rings to die for. Well at Sioux Spur at Glen Garry you get all these things and a little bit more. A warm friendly welcome and service that is quick and delivered with a smile. If you can go and enjoy a spur meal served with a smile.

Service was good and the food was on point 👌🏾. But the highlight for me was the child minder, she did a greatest job. Well done to Team Siox Spur. See you soon again.

Edit: So Sioux Spur contacted me really promptly and the matter was sorted out quite effeciently. Thank you Spur management for handling the matter well. The quality of the replacement meal was more like what I am use to from your branch.I have never seen this from a Spur. So now spur slices their patties through the middle to get 2 patties from one? You could see because the pattie was paper thin on the one side. It didnt even weigh 100g. I know everyone is struggling during this lockdown, but dont down your quality or lesson your normal portion size just to save some money. What business sense does that make? You just chasing customers away. Really disappointing

Definitely wont go back there. Our waiter was more interested in sweeping the floor at the entrance than serving us. We waited 10 minutes before he attended to us. Sorry Chris, you need to be more attentive....your clients should be your first priority.

My colleague and I have been here a few times now. Never had a problem apart from the milk jug being a bit dirty. The food is excellent well prepared and by far the fastest of all the spurs. The staff are very aware of their customers and the general cleanliness of the restaurant is a win. We had anything from breakfast and ribs and they are consistent in their delivery. Will return again.

Ordered ribs and was not impressed. Rather skinny and quite dry and more flank meat than ribs. Obviously a cheaper cut and nothing like the radio advert promised. Tasted as if the grill had not been cleaned in a month as they also had a lot of burnt prior basting and fat on them. My sons steak also had gristle in it and the same grill carbon stuck to it. The chips and onion rings were fine and up to standard the veg was cold and the spinach was stringy and awful ... the stalks cooked along with it and the sauce cold and tasteless. Not my recommended place to eat.

Visited the spur on a Friday early evening and I liked it was spacious once inside the restaurant. The food was great and our waiter was so friendly and helpful. The only thing was the hoard of delivery people in the entrance and as you enter... They stand so close and theres so many trying to all get their orders it feels overwhelming.

Covid protocols in place; friendly helpful staff, efficient service and tender rump steak grilled as requested. I will definitely be back as they are very conveniently situated in relation to where I live and they serve to please.

We went to have what was supposed to be a great night out with my family until I found a thick white substance at the bottom of the glass I was having a beer in. (Claiming they just put a new tank of beer and they dont know what it could be..(health hazards guys)The bad thing about this is, I only noticed when there was one last sip of the beer remaining for me to finish.Really unacceptable and bad experience..now I dont know if i will ever be comfortable to have a beer ( Draught) at any other Spur again.The manager took my contact details and said they will contact me after escalating the matter with SAB.

We were a group attending a birthday party. When we were ordering our coffees, the waiter just turned around and walked away before we were all finished ordering. I ordered breakfast, and the eggs was not hard as I had requested. The waiters service was quite slow and he didnt check up on us once, neither did any manager.

Staff friendly and helpful. Covid-protocols not adhered too by patrons was ignored by staff and management though.

Went for breakfast and was very impressed with this Spur. Was greeted politely and was escorted to our seats. Service was pleasant, food was nice and fresh. The manager also introduce himself.

Food was excellent, as was the servicec and our waitress was polite and very helpful too. What A pleasant experience, will definately go there again. Only one complaint we sat in the bigger seats next to the windows which were uncomfortable (back of seats too low) and not close enough to the table when eating. Will sit at different table next time.

Beautiful service and the place is very chiled

Friendly staff, very keen to help you and greet you when you enter. It has a good west facing view. Just be careful where you sit in the late afternoon. Sitting too close to the west side of the restaurant will be warm due to the afternoon sun shining through the window. The restaurant offers a good place for family members as well as two seat tables for treating your special someone.
