The food was good but the service was not that great

The place is well furnished, with caring staff workers. Nice place to visit, hygienic and they offer toilets which are very tidy.

One of the better looking McDonalds on the inside. Also has the self-service screens if youre tech savvy. Drive-through has tight corners so if youre a nervous driver, go inside.

When 2 drive through service,was very slow customer in second car got out 2 walk 2 window 2 enquire about holdup

I enjoyed my meal and the pleasant customer service. However, coco cola and their campaign for the zero coke is too much. You can only get the zero coke or water with a meal, or pay R2 for another flavor. That is terrible!!!

Guys, you have 1 person taking orders and also doing delivery on your drive through in Sea Point. At least 7 cars queuing when I was there. Your staff member admitting that management could do better and help her out with more staff! Come on. It’s Sunday!!

Ive previously prior to the renovations gave this place a 5 star. Even though I live on Beach Road walking distance I go to the Greenpoint branch. The lady downstairs is out right rude. It feels like we are going to training camp. We know how to work your machines. I dont need to be trained by your staff how to do it they can 1 back off or 2 do the whole order. I was brave to come here today and this is my last straw, why? This place was so friendly before. What happened?

The service was poor but the store set up was of an international standard..pity abt the service because after staff apologizing for not bringing us our hot drink, we had to go get it from the counter on our way out.

I personally love this mcdeez but I was so disappointed coming here ordering chilli fries. I was given a spoon to eat my fries with and to top it of I ordered ×2chilli fries one had kinda a few chillis on and I could count literally 4 chillis.Staff needs to up there game again

Drive through took 20 mins. The ladies bathroom was untidy, no toilet paper. Luckily I keep tissues in my bag. Not recommended if you need a quick meal. Staff was friendly and polite.

The self-service screens are convenient. However, when picking up my order upstairs, I waited almost 15minutes whilst staff members were very loudly conversating in the kitchen, and after a while a worker from downstairs came to check up and repeatedly shouted out my order number.The green salad that was ordered, shocking to say the least. There were probably 3 bits of grated carrots strewn underneath a pile of warm corn, which also happened to cover a few sad pieces of lettuce and horrendously large cut tomato pieces. Very misleading advertising picture on the menu. The salad seemed like it was thrown together from whatever kitchen leftovers were available. The hamburger also had no cheese, just a sad patty with a slob of tomato sauce in its centre. At this point, my mother and I just wanted to leave and forget about our experience at this particular franchise.The place looks very modern and clean but the service was a huge let down 👎

There was only one person running this store. I was blown away that she managed to run the place by herself. Really friendly and great service, went alot quicker than I expected as well.

I come here at least 3 times a month because there are no other McDonald’s in my area. Every time without fail there are delays and problems and long drive through queues. Management you got to do something!

Was a little busy, and they got quite a few of our orders wrong. Including missing items. Overall a very nice layout and friendly staff.

My spicy burger just had mayonnaise on. There was no spicy sauce on. And chicken burger was hard and over cooked. Just my strawberry milkshake was most enjoyable.

Ate there 3 days in a row. When we wanted to eat outside the ladies refused as the tables were dirty outside and only customer in store. Terrible service. When we went in even the tables inside were dirty all staff just set.

Orderig station out of order and very difficult to et order across in the drive thru. Food was good and timely.

Coke taste like soda water, jalapeno double burger taste like just mayonnaise. Place looks nice inside and services is fast however lakes quality in food.

Its what you expect from a McDonalds, but without a drive through and you have to go to the 2nd floor. The service is nothing to write home about, and the interior is decent but they can definitely pop a window for fresh air.

Wait times are to be looked at by management... drive-thru is supposed to be fast and efficient

The cashier at the drive through was very unprofessional and rude, our order came in drips and drabs and the burgers was missing ingredients..wont be going back ever!!!!!

I usually enjoy this McDonalds when its quiet however, we waited ages for our food tonight in the drive through only to welcome a cold meal with soggy chips which we started munching on immediately once we purchased it. It was quite disappointing that the best thing about the meal was the cold drink. The burger didnt taste fresh either.I have had previous good encounters with this MC dees but unfortunately I believe that consistency is key. Better luck next time.

Grabbed a quick coffee through the drive through. Was standard service with standard prices. Drive through is a little hidden away and might be difficult to navigate through but overall a standard McDonald experience.

Drive through took 30 minutes on 20 July 2021 14:00. rather walk down the road for alternative takeaway

Ive just again been reminded about the previous bad experience and I honestly think they should close off the sit down faculties as its clearly not being maintained. Its a facility with downstairs and upstairs so you pay downstairs and then they prepare it upstairs and then transport it with a trolley down with a lift and really not sure who came up with idea but its definitely a terrible one 😢The taps in the toilets dont work and theyve removed the TV on the wall so now theres only a bracket 😩The tables looked like its not been cleaned in a while and tables had the tops stolen/removed 🤔

I waited 20mn in the drive-in queue before having an employee put a cone in front of me saying they closing soon and I should leave...it was 7:30pm. Go to the Green Point branch instead and avoid this branch.

Worst service ever! Half filled chip holders. Burgers and chips were cold. They had no soft drinks with the meals, had to pay for milkshakes normal price with no discount!!!! Wont be seeing our family again.

Was not fare with customers and we felt racially discriminated against.

I dont complain about places but this place is a real disappointment as I went in to order . Got to the door and was told to place my order on a digital platform which was kinda cool. After doing that we were directed to go up stairs to pay and collect, I paid cash for our meals got handed a slip as usual and proceeded to have a seat in the mean time. After about 35 min I approached the counter to find out why things were taking a bit long the lady behind the counter told me i should have handed in my slip before going to sit. Keep in mind theres a digital board that say preparing number .... and pick up order number .... my number was on the screen under preparing then it just dissapeared before getting to pick up part. I had to sit a further 40 min and wait for my order and at the collection counter there was about 20 people gathered there also waiting and shouting for there food and absolutely no sign of social distances as required by law lately. So for me that mac ds is a complete no go for me and my family.

Went to the bathroom and waited to use the middle cubicle because the first was dirty.A staff member came out with the gloves on (still on) and walked out without washing the gloves or her hands. YUK!hope she sanitizes... If ur foods extra salty or spicy... You no why ;) never going there again

Staff ID# rude, very rude. Does McD deserve patronage with such typical rudeness? I guess not. Didnt get the drink to quench my diabetic thirst. My order wasnt taken. Too much staff quacking at the cashier. Only chaos. Good riddens. Go elsewhere.Not the best McD around. Some staff are friendly, try hard, others dont care. Escalator out of order for long now. Everything is digitised now so you order and pay rite by the door and fetch ur food upstairs.

Pathetic service. Decided to go in because we thought the line wasnt that long compared to the drive thru. What a mistake. Waited forever, number didnt display on the screen, staff kept saying we must wait and were very unhelpful. Eventually, they realized that there may be a mistake, took our receipt, checked and then prepared our meal. The entire process most probably took 1 hour. We then left and when we wanted to eat, the order was wrong. Maybe this was a once off but was quite a bad experience.

Enjoyable food and atmosphere

Prioritized online orders aswell as the drive through than walk ins.The waiting area was full and stuffy due to drivers collecting their customers online orders and a line inside store with angry customers that was waiting approximately 30-40 mins before they received their food.There should be a separate station for these online orders.

Worst service ever. thought for seapoint theyd be on the ball and the meals would be good but NO, they were slow, gave wrong meals and the foldovers were disgusting. tasted like it was in the the fridge and just quickly slapped together, the cheese burgers had lettuce on for some reason and one gherkin each, very disappointed, never going back there.

One of the nicer looking McDonalds Ive been to, and the food came out at a reasonable speed.

A bit slow on serving otherwise very clean

2nd visit to this McDs and both times disappointing.First time the hot choc I ordered was cold.Second time around I ordered a take away coffee... which was weak and watered down. Tasted like what you would expect if you run water through your filter coffee machine without adding a new pack of ground coffee.

I wasnt really sure what to make of the experience... I entered the franchise and placed my order, making use of the self-service option. I was told I had to go upstairs to get my food, even though it was labeled as takeaway and I ordered downstairs. I was very confused and didnt know where to wait, so I just sat down until they called out my order. I ordered the McChicken burger and then just left, not knowing to make of it.
