Last time Im going there. Dirty table on arrival. Waiter brought us dirty glasses and didnt bother to ask why we are using the milkshake glass that he brought the ice in instead of the wine glass. He was bold enough to tell us they are waiting for us to leave when he literally just served another table their food and there were two tables around us - none of whom were told to essentially leave. Problem? We stopped for a quick bite - starter portions, glass of wine and out. He insisted we order, explained it was just a quick stop - thats where the its time to go attitude began. Great crumb on the starter though. Well done on that. Otherwise, never again shem. Also, the toilets were not clean/flushed.

My wife and I, had breakfast this morning and our bacon tasted like burnt, but overall it was good.

WELL MY SECOND HOME, THIS SPUR IS BY FAR THE BEST SPUR EVER. WITH STAFF THAT KNOW WHERE YOU SIT WHAT YOU DRINK n EAT. FIRST NAME BASIS. GREAT STUFF. WELL DONE ON GREAT FOOD & SERVICE. N1 CITY TEXAS SPUR ALWAYS RATED NO 1 IN MY BOOKS.

I would like to commend the staff at Spur N1 City, for the manner they handled my complaint last night. Our waiter Thabo, was brilliantly supported by his line manager Langos. Ably led by Kobus, they ensured our family outing was a pleasant experience. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

Clean. Horrible cheap very bad chicken. That mass production chicken.. Could not eat it. Other food was good. Play area very very unsafe. Major children risk. I did tell the manager to fix it.........

WiFi needs attention. Breakfast steak a bit tough, coffee not great, service (Simba) excellent! The manager attended to the steak problem, deducted the amount and was both pleasant and professional. Well done!

I do not visit the Spur often, however the food here was excellent. I need to commend our waitron, Cassidy. Not only did she provide excellent service with a smile, but she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. If anything, she is an amazing brand ambassador. Thank you for a truly memorable experience.

The food and drinks was amazing!! I tend to always go for their burgers but I decided to branch out a bit and had some steak!! So good. The service was a bit poor. We waited for a long time once we were done for our plates to be taken and we ended up having to find someone. Other than that it was good.

We visited Spur in N1 City Mall for the first time today.Compared to other Spurs the service is quite slow and the place is incredibly mismanaged. We had to order multiple times from different people. Had to ask a different people for the bill and specify the order. When paying the bill there was no change.Theres a sign at the kids play area saying no kids will be allowed without armbands and yet no one there to hand out armbands or check.The food is good but the service needs some serious attention

Service started off quite good. Then we ordered the R99 cheddermelt steaks. The order was pepper sauce and rare steaks on a sizzle pan with chips and onion rings. My boss ordered a 500g tbone medium with veg.His order arrived, and looked correct. Our orders arrived. First it came with veg, so we sent it back. Second time it came out it had mushroom sauce, so it was sent back, third time it came out it was basically cooking on the pan. By the time it was cool enough to eat my steak was cooked to well done and was dry. My bosses tbone which was supposed to be medium was rare and he didnt enjoy it. Our waitress was very friendly and the mistakes came from the kitchen not her, but I wouldnt recommend going here. Note it wasnt busy as this was at 1:30pm on Friday.

My go to place...when I need down time😊 everyone is so friendly. And I think so far they the only spur that has the tag that beeps on for the kids for safety. Which is awesome

I wish there was a 0 for rating... On the 22May which was today on my Birthday my family took me for breakfast at spur N1city @9:30. To my disappointment. We got there da lady at door very friendly. Got our seat close to play area. Waited very long for our food wen it arrived it was Cold... We ordered 3 Lattes I n that was terrible, I asked the waiter to please taste this water,i bet you Ricoffy taste better then that. She came back with a teapot with filter coffee. I tasted it and it was filter coffee. I just left it there cause I dont want to stress on my special day. The Steak that came with the ranch breakfast was so small and cold. I never expected this terrible service and this on my birthday. We pay for what we eat but that was terrible

The food was absolutely awsome...Our waiter was super fast. The food didnt take too long to come to our seating... compliments to the chefs ... and it was not that busy aswell... so ... 10/10 to them...

Was amazing. We had a couple of drinks that we didnt need to wait on. We ordered our food. Thought wed be done by the time the food came but the service was so awesome. Very quick and efficient. The staff checked up on us constantly. Which made us feel so much more relaxed. I had my laptop as I was the only one still working. They offered that Im welcome to charge my laptop. Overall great service.

The waitress was not very professional, brought the drinks touching the glasses by the rim,when food arrived l,her fingers was literally in the plate next to the steak, the steak was so well done, when I specifically ordered medium,was supposed to be the sirloin steak special but when it came it was dripping in a basting sauce,2which was not what was on the advertisement on the table. We hardly touched our food,asked for takeaway boxes. Then the cherry on top was when she came to clear the table, she used her hands and scooped the leftover food from one plate to the other in order to get plates on top of each other. Most definitely my worst ever experience at a Spur establishment, I wont be back.

Service could be improved incredibly alot.. After waiting almost half an hour, we finally got service.. Even the managers are pathetic, because when you signal for assistance, they are the first ones to turn their back on customers.. And this comes with them almost having no customers.. Basically empty.. First improve service, then maybe Ill consider coming back..

Since lockdown we have not been to Spur. We had no problem with their food but however we were not distanced according to government regulationsvery which made our experience very unpleasant. We ate as fast as we could but eventually just asked for take away boxes. When we approached ther manager he seemed oblivious to a plan of action. This is very disappointing as our numbers are increasing. Not impressed with their distancing arrangements

Ordered two rump steaks. Received one medium rare (ok spiced) and one well done rotten rump steak. First time i sent food back in my life. Manager came well after food was replaced. Wouldve thought an apology was fitting since we nearly had food poisoning.

This is not my first visit to Texas spur and it wont be my last either. They have exceptional service with unmatched service time. The staff are friendly and willing to help.The restaurant is clean and took all precautions with covid.

Service has improved. You dont wait to long for food. If you not in the mood for noise dont go here especially on Saturday afternoons as this is a kid friendly restaurant that does kids parties. Great for kids parties and value for money when doing kids parties.play area has cameras so parents can relax at table whilst watching kids on camera.no need to get up and check on them constantly. The ice cream brownies was fantastic and the beer was ice cold. Large tvs for watching the sport and N1city has free wifi.if you have a large family this is good choice of restaurant.

Onion rings so brown you wonder if they were made the week before, 200g steak so small you wonder why its on the menu. Childrens burgers so bland you might as well just take them to Nandos. If i wanted to eat at a hipster restuarant then i would go to tigers milk. Spur n1 city the last safe haven is no more.

Firstly on arrival we were told kitchen is very busy ur food will take long when it eventually come it was cold..... Waiter didnt even bring WiFi info like we asked... Never the less we had burgers an boy oh boy after I ate my meal I had to immediately run to the rest room we got home an we are extremely sick my wife is vomiting with stomach ache please make contact with me urgently as this is really not good mite just to visit the Dr as well I would like a full refund this is very disappointing our first time eating out since covid started really not a good experience at all an my daughter didnt get her lucky packet 😒 The link they sent me via Google does not work.

The friendly service is always consistent at this spur. Best Spur next to Dean Street Spur that closed. Excellent food as always.

It was not a very pleasant experience. Specifically because of the covid 19 social distancing regulations. People werent distanced as they should have been. It was reported to the manager and nothing was done. If schools can put social distancing measures in place, then so can Spur. My family and I rushed out as soon as possible as the environment felt unsafe.

PPE in place. Friendly staff.Suggestion that fresh onions on burgers sliced into thin slices. I love onions but prefer it thin.

Came in for breakfast, the waiters service was great the food ..(carb- conscious bfast was perfect) their eggs as i asked.... Lady sitting across me had to for salt and pepper from me coz hers didnt have.Bacon was amazingly done.

Ive been here numerous times, and this is the first time Ive been disappointed with the breakfast. The chips were oily yet cold. My bacon was burnt. And my eggs were cold. Very disappointed, and on Mothers Day of all days!

Was at Spur on the 29th May 2021, with my wife and friends of ours...the service was below what Im used too at Spur N1 city...we had to wait long for our food which ended up being served COLD...I asked to be directed to the toilet but instead was given attitude by one of the waiters, which I have never experienced at Spur N1 city before..on my way to the toilet, I could literally see the food lined up, which Im sure was there for quite a while no wonder the food we were served was quite COLD...I doubt Id be returning anytime soon..

I am so impressed with the service that we had at your outlet this afternoon. Our waitress (Memory) served us with a smile and so professionally.Also, everyone was busy cleaning the entire restaurant. Ive never experienced anything like that. Tables were moved, walls washed, under counters and tables. Well done to the entire team and management!

Collection service stinks at the window next to the entrance. Staff ignores you after you have paid...and make you wait an extra 30 minutes, after being told by person taking orders for collection that the order will be done in 10 minutes. Sit-ins get the 5-star treatment at this once great steak ranch. Apologies does not fix the problem.

Staff very friendly, energetic and fun. They really go the extra mile. Food is tasty as to be expected. No long waits for serving of food, despite the big influx of customers. Their birthday song is exciting, but it makes no sense though. This is quite funny as the staff sing with gusto and the people love being made to feel extra special on their birthdays.

I was there for my sons bday and the service was really bad.They came to sing 4him when we were on our way out.

Food arrived cold. Bread with starter still frozen in the center. Brought back and only one piece was soft, the remainder rock hard. Steak over done and also cold. The restaurant was not busy but service was atrocious.

Although its been just over 2 years of going to the spur again we decided on N1 spur. The breakfast was nice and hot when it got to the table and so was the toast. The waiter was friendly but that doesnt mean we will be going more regularly.

The food was really fantastic but I had to wait for too long for my food, I was given a steak knife that couldnt cut the steak the waitron replaced it for me immediately but after giving me the steak knife he was no where to be found, I ate finish no one bother to find out whether I enjoyed the food and I had to weave for attation, the lady was wearing a black spur shirt came but she seemed like a hostess to me, she cleared the plates from the table and I asked her for my Bill, she only said OK, but she went never returned, then I saw a manager passing by and I asked him for my bill then he went and got me the bill but after about 3min,I paid and left we didnt see our waiter.

Not too shabby...wait a bit too long g for food but otherwise a nice eating experience. Spur, I am not saying the wait is a problem for me, but others might just have a problem with it, so please try to work on that.
