From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a smile and excellent service. The staff that attended to us was so amazing and added extra to every request. Food is amazing and fresh. Really disappointed with the service I received. We waited for long periods of time to be served by the waiter who was serving our table. Both the soy sauces available were really salty despite one of the bottles being labelled a less salty option, which tainted what could have been a delectable sushi meal. It was really difficult to experience the different flavors of the combo selection due to the overpowering taste of both sauces.Lastly, the server assigned to clear the table was very rude and began clearing the table before asking if we were done with the meal. It was my first experience at this restaurant and I unfortunately was not impressed.

Sushi is always delicious, we have not eaten off the conveyor belt, we always order a la carte, they have great specials too. We have eaten in and ordered takeaways 20 plus times

My usual place for some all you can eat sushi(R150). Suki offers sushi of good quality, and Id consider it better then most franchise restaurants that serve sushi.Suki offers many other dishes besides sushi though! 😁If you arent happy with what sushi is immediately available on the conveyor, one can always order from your waiter.Service is good in general. Got served by Tyrone on my last visit and really gave above average service, very professional.

Food is delicious. Prices are a bit steep. Overall always happy when we visit. Glad there is more than just sushi as alot of my family doesnt enjoy sushi, ridiculous I know. The sushi is usually quick and the service is okay. The prices wont break the bank, but it is not a cheap meal to begin with. Love the combinations that are on offer with the buffets. The mix of sushi and something warmer is also great. The new icecream buffet is also a winner. Keep it up, will be back.

Vibrant atmosphere. You dont feel alienated at all when entering the restaurant.The sushi is top notch, for a very reasonable price. Id recommend the sushi buffet to anyone. And if youre feeling a little adventurous, ask for some cold Sake (rice alcohol). Really a nice restaurant!

Incredible sushi and genuinely wonderful staff. I once had a mix up with my payment here and I only realised a week later. Came back and the waiter had realised the accident just after my group had left and immediately told the manager. The manager kept the surplus I had paid for the whole week until I could come get it. So thankful to the honest and hard-working waiters and the lovely manager. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Very lovely customer service, and reasonably priced Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant itself is a little secluded from the town and might make for a dodgy corner but its always best to go with friends. The interior is very nicely designed and the food is made relatively quickly when not busy; you can expect your food within 5 - 15 minutes of ordering. Drinks menu is limited, this is mainly a sushi bar.

Great sushi spot out in Stellies, the buffet is definitely the major selling point, R185 all you can eat! Chill at the conveyor belt and your night is sorted. Service is great and friendly, lovely interiors. Fun for families, date night or a solo trip if you got a sushi craving!

Sushi heaven

Nice place. Food is good value for money and tasty. The Thai soup is brilliant and plentiful. The sticky wings are so tasty and such good value. Prices might look expensive but go and share a few things. Wines weren’t too expensive either. Didn’t have sushi but others at the table did and they said it was good. Will be back soon.

Im never disappointed when I visit Suki. Their sushi is outstanding and its great value. I currently travel 43km just to go here because I just cant find sushi as good as this.If you arent interested in the sushi, theyve got fantastic Asian food as well and again, fairly priced.Also, they love to play a mix of 90s music. Ive heard Backstreet Boys, NSync, Britney Spears, Daft Punk (discovery album), but this is not all they play, I just enjoy having a bit of a nostalgic moment.

Best sushi in Stellenbosch. Has been around for over 10 years without a menu change, because its not needed. Great sushi, great buffet for a good price and at a good location. Must-visit for lovers of sushi, the African Boy is a particular delicacy.

Full disclosure - this a tourists opinion from USA ... this is a half Thai, half Japanese restaurant. Not only does it have a proper (traditional) Japanese sushi bar, but it also has a revolving sushi bar where you can pick and choose what you want as it travels by. The sushi special AYCE (all you can eat) was about $10 and had a rather extensive list of items to choose from. It was a very good deal.With respect to ambiance, its definitely done in a California style of sushi bar in my opinion (i.e. relaxed atmosphere, TV playing sports in the background, good for larger/louder groups of friends).Bottom line, I shall return!

Excellent place for friends and family. Great sushi bar and fantastic sushi! Great deals and specials. Would recommend that they add new plates to the conveyor belt at a faster pace as sometimes you are left waiting for that one piece of sushi you really want. Ordering is always an option, but if youre doing the buffet then ordering from the menu costs extra.

Very good sushi with a huge sushi bar and very friendly staff. They offer two different sushi buffet options depending on your price range. The one buffet also includes ice cream of some weird/interesting flavours.

Love this restaurants all you can eat sushi option (R155). It has a large variety included in this all you can eat and even includes ice cream. This place has great deep fried options for those not so keen on the raw fish option and my personal favourite is African Boy, this place is the only place that serves this deep fried option.

You know you get those sushi spots that are like a local secret spot. This is one of them, its not particularly in the public eye all the time being situated in a quieter part of town, but thats what makes it special.Upon arrival you will see a projector casting a image on the ground, leading you to the doorway. Then you see it.. endless trays of sushi, making their way round and round till someone musters the courage to take another after already overeating themselves. Needless to say, the all you can eat special is a local favorite as well.Be sure to prepare yourself mentally for the excursion. Wear comfy pants... and remember, you pay for the sushi you dont eat. All in all, a great place for conversation and feasting!

Sushi quality is good, but the selection on the belt is extremely monotonous. For anything that is not on the belt, you can order with a waiter, which is very hard to come by. At R155 for a buffet, it is definitely one if the best priced all-you-can-eat options in a very large radius.Bonus points for the fact that the buffet includes ice cream, have not seen that before.

This place has a great variety of Asian cuisine; they have the best spicy food Ive ever had, once I ordered the spiciest version of their glass noodle salad and nearly died because it was so spicy 😂 (thats what I get for underestimating the level of spiciness they have). Definitely a must for sushi lovers 😍

Great sushi , good prices and friendly staff. The all you can eat sushi felt has your standard selection. But on Guest Chef nights the standard selection turns into a beautiful display of dragons , butterflies and all manner of curious creations. To top it off the sushi becomes masterpieces. The only problem comes to that you just have to be lucky and eat on one of those days.

I absolutely love this place. They have great all you can eat sushi for R150 per person. On Sundays they have cocktails for only R25 (with exception of the long island ice tea and one other cocktail).Great place for relatively cheap sushi. And if the sushi you want is not on the belt, then you can just order free of charge it and you will get it in no time.
