I simply can not wait to go back!! We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary there this week. The atmosphere, the venue, the friendly staff and absolutely fantastic food.is remarkable. The authentic traditional interpretation of modern cuisine. Well done to the entire team. Your attention to detail and the effortless style was a pleasure to be hosted by. Share the 750g T-bone steak !! I am still dreaming about it.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch here, food was amazing, staff attentive and friendly.

After being placed at our table, some other waiter / manager came and chased us from the table as he claimed the table our waiter seated us, was reserved 45 min ahead. Very hostile.

With a great atmosphere, great service with well trained and kind staff, immaculate food and interactive cuisines, this restaurant gives you an amazing experience for the whole family, it offers a buffet every Sunday with different food every week. It has quick service with a wide range of drinks. It truly is the best restaurant Ive ever been to.

Although the staff was absolutely brilliant, our pizza dough was still uncooked and the wine somewhat mediocre. Id recommend going when they arent full to capacity as the service drops.

The setting is lovely and the staff are very friendly but the food and wine were mediocre. We were celebrating our 16th anniversary so asked for a glass of bubbles. The only one available was made by the Estate (Blawklippen), made from Zinfandel (unusual choice) and tasted like mop-water. The menu was quite sparse with some dishes that were obviously trying to be a new spin on some traditional dishes. I opted for something I expected to be a safe option, lamb ribs. They were more like deep-fried lamb-chops with the meat removed and only the fat remained. Accompanied by rolled cucumber shavings with some sort of tasteless mayonnaise in the middle. It was so bad we skipped desert and went home for a left-over beef sandwich. Hake and chips would have also been an option on their menu, but at ZAR195.00 a portion, I decided to skip that!!! Very disappointing, given the setting and the cost.

What an experience!!!

What a wonderful experience we had a Hamm & Uys this evening. Our waitress Yolande was a delight and ensured that we had a great dining experience. The Manna to the table was such a tease to the tastebuds and we both throughly enjoyed our Denningvleis main course. It was a tough choice but it hit the spot. Thank you Johnny and Marius for a memorable experience.
