Great vibe, great music and very reasonable prices. Service was very good. We just had to wait about 1 and a half hours for a pizza and a snack platter. We received the platter first that was great. But had to cancel the pizza because we had to go and couldnt wait any longer. If you could improve that. It would be the perfect joint..

Place could be a whole lot better, this place is way too dark ,had to get a table by a window.The food was good although we had to wait over a half an hour before the food arrived. Place was not busy at the time. Other customer also left because theyve been waiting too long for their food to be served.

Part of Stellenbosch student culture yes, but as an adult, this place needs a spring clean and a Doom fogger!PSA: Avoid the bathrooms!

Great uniquely styled dishes with tons of flavor and an accommodating atmosphere. I had a chat with the owner and was extremely impressed with his passion for the industry. Enjoyed every moment and cant wait to return in the near future.

The place is really crowded upstairs in the evening. Its always a mission to squeeze between everyone to get to the bathroom (not even mentioning the total lack of social distancing from the customers side). But overall, a really nice vibe late at night.

This place has an amazing vibe! When you get there, you dont want to leave! Their deals are very competitive with surrounding spots. Theres a foozeball table and a pool table. Their pizzas are also quite good. Really make an effort to go there!

Not bad for an afternoon beer and pizza. Doesnt feel the most cleanly inside. The bathrooms are alright at day but by night, the venue becomes a honey jar for drunk students. Apparently there is good music here, but I have yet to experience that. Not impressed, but perhaps its just not my type of place. I havent tried the food. The drinks are affordable.

Service good. Always cozy atmosphere, making everybody feeling welcome but tonight the fire was poor and this on an extremely cold evening. We had to request twice for fire to be revitalized. We left earlier than planned despite the good starter that was served by a friendly waiter. We would have stayed till the cows come home if it was not for the fire. People should understand that customers want to feel comfortable when they are going out these days when its not cheap to go out. Fortunately there always alternatives in a place like Stellenbosch. But well be back. It still remains one of the few places where everybody is welcome

Personal favorite,The Mystic Boer always provides a good time and fast and friendly service. Highly recommended. They have great events and good DJ line-ups. Friendly staff and they even kept my jacket for a week when I forgot it there which was great.

Nice bar to chill in during the evenings and trance on Saturday night. Decent snacks too.

My cousin was pickpocketed right outside of the door when this bar closed. We immediately confronted the guy and then reported him to both bouncers. They did nothing and told us to call the police, by which time the man was gone. This is not a safe establishment,

We found ourselves in Stellenbosch late on a week night and Mystics seemed to be the only place with a decent vibe. We had a few beers and enjoyed the music.
