The waiters and other employees are very friendly and polite and give excellent service. The food is tops. Also a lot of nice looking ladies come and eat there. I come all the way from Lenasia to eat there. I hope that other restaurants and food outlets can learn from them.

My first experience at this Spur, was driving passed Soweto and decided to stop by for a meal. Wonderful experience. The waiters were friendly and on point. Wait time was minimal...well done, the family and I enjoyed brunch...

We have been here a couple of times. The food is good. The service is ok. When its busy they are all over the place and unhelpful at times. When its not, they are in a clump and intimidating with snarky comments. The cutlery could be cleaner. The tables could get serviced faster to accommodate the amount of people waiting. But still, the food, is good.

The steak at Texakhana is the best amongst all the Spurs! The manager said that they allow their steaks to mature before it is served which explains why it is so good!

Visited the restaurant to catch up with friends that I have not seen in a while. Loved every moment. We were there for a few hours and not once did we feel we had to leave. Great food, venue and service.

A good Spur. Came for breakfast. Saw the staff running through the daily briefing. Great to see how organised the teams were, even if it meant discussing the sides and the specials of the day. Breakfast is still number 1. Good quality, really good consistency throughout the brand and all the oulets. As the outlet was a Halal friendly I missed my bacon. But overall, friendly and efficient staff.

Always consistent. A favourite go to for a filling dinner. Had the prawn starter, always a winner. Dont like the new serving dishes though, it makes the portions seem way smaller then they used to be.Cheddarmelt Fillet and Chops, done the way we like it with the famous chips and onion rings. Service from Baxolile was legendary, he is a star.

Our favourite spur. Food is always good. Recommend the nachos, cheddarmelt steak or schnitzels. Crumbed mushrooms arw pretty good as well.

I have been frequenting the spur branch in Rosebank mall for 20 years and am in awe at the consistency of service... waiters are always friendly and helpful even when they rotate between new teams, every item for every dish is prepared to perfection... no exaggeration when I say that over the 20 years I have not been disappointed even once! I had their special, wow... Truely that half chicken was tough to finish. It was delicious 😋. I am happy that they have a play area for kids, allows for the parents to have deeper conversations. The tables are sanitized and the is social distancing between other tables. Happy with their service.

Food normally always great. Tonight it was not good though, however, Patience, the manager pulled off an amazing service recovery and therefore, I will be going back in future. Waiter Emanuel was great!

Really great service. Adhered to COVID regulation. When I couldnt get the attention of my waitron, the other staff members were willing to help and service is at a decent speed.

We came in with a big group of people and we had reservations we were all seated almost immediately and served on time and usually with such a big group there are problems with the order but not a single problem.We were all expertly catered to and all staff and friendly and helpful.Prices were as expected but not too bad all things considered.Also play area was monitored so I could eat in peace and watch my children play.Definitely would go again.

We orded the Nachos for starter, the Nachos came a bit burnt.I requested my steak to be medium to well but it was over cooked and kind of chewy.However, what really prompted this review is when we arrived and gave our names at the registery to be seated I asked for a glass of water so my wife and I can break our fast, our request was ignored for 10 minutes, until thankfully the lady from the next door restaurant called us and offered a jug of water, not only that but she was so kind to offer a side plate with dates and samoosas in it.

Service is very slow. Uber eats drivers are not prioritized at all. They are treated like they are trash. Made to wait in the open when its too hot or raining. Attitude towards uber eats drivers must change for the better

Your standard Spur. Nice generous portions and friendly staff. Nevertheless, I waited too long for my cheeseburger - 25 minutes at least. Nonetheless, the experience as a whole was positive. A good place to go if you are not in the mood for surprises and just need some comfort food.

Nothing wrong with the restaurant in terms of the food or facilities for children but the the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. Water all over the floor and filthy. The mens bathroom in particular (I cant speak for the female bathroom). I tried to go there with my child and instead went to the mall bathroom as he was barefoot from playing in the kids area...disappointing.

The manager, Lenny, is brilliant! We had an issue with a delivery that Uber Eats refused to deal with however Lenny dealt with it quickly and efficiently (despite the fault being with Uber Eats). What a way to win loyal customers :)
