Good value in the restaurant part. Baked goods always fresh. Staff in deli not too friendly near closing time! In the restaurant: breakfasts are excellent. The Salmon bagel does not appear to be salmon. It seems to be trout, which is a fairly common substitute in SA, but the menu gives the impression that it is real salmon.

Excellent food and service. Took my Mom for brunch, their bruchettos are divine. This is one of very few places my Mom will eat at.

I went to have lunch today and enquired about a meal when the waitress got so angry with me and gave me the worst attitude. I normally go there often but I definitely will not be returning after today. I walked out of the restaurant as I felt very unwelcomed.

Thought I havnt been here in a while so went this morning for breakfast. I asked for a table for 2 and was rudely told to walk past the front tellers and wait to be seated. Stood for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged by the staff. I walked out. Wont see me again.

This place brings memories. Last time I was there was 2010 and the food and service were so nice, so this year I decided to go back and again...amazing!

Not a horrible experience but not the best, to judge a place solely on one persons misminded actions is wrong but saying that, managment should keep an eye on the working of their staff..Nice place to meet for a business coffee.

Pleasant experience. We had brunch though food prep took a bit long our waiter was great. Can Fournos pls work on the attitude of the ladies that work at the shops, the main (at the till), the one downstairs opp Foschini & the one by Clicks (currently closed due to COVID). They are generally rude with an attitude. This could be a reflection of how they are treated at work or just plain undermining black customers.

This review isn’t based on service but rather as a quick look at Covid-19 screening procedure for ‘sit down’ customers.What the issue is is that my partner and I arrived and were told to complete a screening register upon entrance and order at the till and pay before we sit down, while we are busy with all of this, an old man walks in and sits down and removes his mask and the staff came to him to take his order and do screening.My question is, why are people who are ‘supposedly at risk’ being granted preferential treatment that puts them more at risk?

I wanted rye bread, made with stone ground flour. They didnt have it, but the manager was very helpful and called their supplier. I got there rye bread, and its good. Also bought a bagel with toppings I could choose. A little pricey, but good.

Enjoyed it here, thank you.A suggestion: please have someone watching for patrons at the door. Ive realised with Fournos branches that there is no person welcoming guests and giving direction. No two branches are set up the same so you walk in and feel lost. Ive walked out of branches before because I didnt know where to from the door. I still dont know how to buy for take away at Fournos; last time I left my sister to figure herself out there and I bought my food elsewhere because we stood so long not knowing what to do. Staff took too long to even notice us.Anyways, Bedfordview Fournos staff are nice, once youve approached them.I liked that the managers thanked us for coming and bid us farewell as we left. A touch Ive seen at upmarket places. Probably happened because we were the last of their guests to leave🤔Thanks.🙂

Fournos food is always of the highest quality and always tasty. Staff are always friendly and ready to help whether eating in our getting take out. Been a regular there for many years. Highly recommend.

When we arrive, the waitress asked what we would like to drink and she took my husbands and didnt wait for mine.I ordered a handmade burger with a top up of blue cheese and Bacon; meat extremely dry, the blue cheese sauce was cheese melted but not a sauce.Very desappointed.

Went there for the famous Fournos breakfast. Very enjoyable. You pay a little more but get more. Good value. The restaurant is a little noisy but you get used to it.

GoodIts clean, and they sell very nice cakes, I never miss a chance to go there, anytime I visit the centre pass by them for the ciabata bread, its fresh and its crispy, just very nice, their employees, works fine, friendly and helpful.This is a great bakery, very very niceOne can get there buy the good stuff and in less than 10 minutes are ready to go, dont even get to pay for the parking as its free for the first 15 minutesGood luck and enjoy😆👍

This is a bakery with a restaurant area. Great variety of freshely baked breads and confectionery too choose from. You can also build your own sandwich or choose from a light buffet style menu if not ordering from the regular menu. We had breakfast and the portion sizes were surprisingly large and therefore good value for money.

I like.. croissant is Amazing on its own... love their bruscetta.. the beef with onion marmalade is awesome.. their salmon stack is good...nice hang out place to meet friends and has a good baking section

The food is always fresh and delicious. It can get busy on weekend mornings though. I have had to queue before. That said I was happier to wait than go somewhere else.

Good, charged me for chips I didnt receive and didnt know about either. I asked for a croissant with cheese and avo and was billed for chips as well. ?? Cheese and avo croissant is not on the menu so....? But the dishes we ordered were delicious none the less.

My family loves to go there for weekend brunch.The outdoor open area is really pleasant.The staffs and managers are all very friendly to my younger children.We are vegetarians, love the fresh buffet salad there, especially the artichokes.
