Enjoyed having lunch here. The food was well prepared and delish. We were literally the only ones at the restaurant for good 3hours and we loved it. Covid-19 protocols adhered too.

Food is good but the staff dont wear the masks in the kitchen so it makes me think if I really want to support our local spur.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly waiters. Pork chops were extremely tough and inedible, however ribs were juicy and tender.

My nieces and nephew enjoyed their meals. Mine was ok. Different palettes I suppose. We arrived after 8pm and it was no problem. Even closer to closing up time (10pm) there was no pressure to pay or leave which we appreciated. Our waiter, Manny, was very sweet. Made a couple of errors but these were corrected immediately with no arguments.

Today weve received the best service ever at a Spur. It reminded us of the service and standard one would expect from a group of restaurants. Can see the difference when Sue Ann and her team is duty. Our waiter was prompt and kept us posted when we will receive our food. Highly recommend the Chargril steak. Keep up the service and good tasting food.

Ive always loved the Spur franchise... Having the youngest grandkids here from Bloemfontein on Saturday, there was no question as to where we would meet up.... When it comes to a combination of great food at reasonable prices, the best family options of kiddie entertainment facilities, whilst maintaining adult sanity... Even though it was month end and there was a kiddies party on the go, social Distancing and other Covid-19 protocols were maintained without detracting from a super experience!Well done guys!

Good food, lady that showed us to our seats... very friendly and nice... told us our waiter will be with us now... she took our orders an after a while she came back and still has not seen our waiter.... but she arrange everything for us... so thank you to her.... she made it awesome for us... wish I had her name... food was very good but prices went up a lot.

We always have good service and friendly staff. The food is usually good quality. The play area for kids is very nice and big. Their menu variety is also quite good. Their steaks are always delicious and cooked just how you ask.

I am a very regular customar we eat from them at least 2 to 3 times a week but tonight i am very dissapointed the livers we got was rock hard and no person can eat it i spoke to the mannager Suanne an complained to her this is unacceptable

Today I had the ranch breakfast but with fish fingers instead of steak. The whole experience today was really nice.

Fluffy scrambled eggs. The kitchen manager, Neil, deserves a promotion.

Food was very good. WAS GOOD standards have dropped the last few times the food was terrible. Toasted sarmies had hairs on the bread or plate not sure bread was covered in white fluff or hairs or something. Nacho chips burnt like as in chared black how do you burn crisps? Quesadillas dripping with oil. Cheese sauce for cheddar melt had so much garlic in it was inedible 1 bite repeated on me all day. No more bikes for the kids to ride, my son hurt himself on the play area. What is going on? I will not be returning the last 3 times was a rip off. The menu has changed even the specials are not affordable. Why pay so much for such poor quality food.Very slow service too have to call for help

The salt pot was so dirty you do not want to touch it.The side plate with toast in had a big chip in.The toasts was so hard if you cut it it brakes in pieces.Not a goof experience

Got there and ordered our drinks when being seated. Got our drinks and then waiter left without taking our order or even bothered to take our order. The place was less than half full. Waited 45 minutes then decided to rather go somewhere else. Will never go back there ever again!

So after cleaning up after the waiter who did a mediocre job my hubby and l waited for our breakfast for 30 mins. We then lost our appetite and left without being served. I think they need to improve on the manager. he Orr she needs to constantly check that the tables are cleared and that orders are being attended to timeosly. Not going back shem.

Very disappointing. Had a kids party, service was shocking, waitress abrupt. Guests already left before they came to sing to birthday girl. Not to even discuss the confusion when the bill came. Shocking! Even the manager was of no assistance.

Still the best value breakfast around at R36.90. Coffee at R10 extra makes this a real treat. Include two slices of toast with the breakfast shown.

I wouldve taken photos but unfortunately the food was so perfectly cooked I gobbled it all up. We had a meat heavy breakfast and every single piece was grilled perfectly. The guy on the grill is an artist! I had to call the manageress over and compliment her on her kitchen. Thank you 😁

On the 1st of Jan 2020, this was the place to have a morning lunch. The schnitzel was great especially with the mushroom topping. The kids loved the coke-float... Just the smoking area is way too small and inside. All in all solid 5⭐

I had a Cheddermelt for takeaway yesterday. I realized that Spur is using new buns and patties. Not appetizing at all. The new pre-round formed patties are like rubber and do not have the same taste as before, together with the new buns it is just not a nice burger anymore. I always looked forward to a cheddermelt but with the changes not again. Such a shame

Really impressed with the service here. The staff are presentable and well spoken with good interpersonal skills. The staff are not too clued up with proper customer service and they do not understand the importance of not lying to clients. Management seems efficient when dealing with clients but not communicating with staff. Food is good and fresh. Kids play area is wonderful and the sit down area is clean.

This is a great Spur thats really clean. They have a wonderful kiddies area and really friendly waiters. Service is really quick and food was great. Menus had a wide variety. Our experience was great.

For an excellent steak done to your personal liking theres just no place like the Spur. Lone Spur is one of the best in the franchise. Well furnished and staffed with excellent, polite and helpful staff and a speedy kitchen, meals ready in a very reasonable time. Well done Lone Spur!

The play area is amazing, especially because it is one of the only places where there are tables set up in the play area. And the staff are wonderful. But the food leaves a lot to be desired and is just not up the standard of what you would expect from Spur.

Last time I was here was about 2 years ago. Walk past at least 3 times a week. The sweet potato chips were the best thing on the plate.
