The food was bland to be honest nothing to write home about and too busy . Alot of waiting time for orders to come from the kitchen. Had an incident in carnival city at spur soo Im super aware of what goes on in the play area, my son was not given a that wrist thing with the table number and the parents number, I had to write one myself. Service has dropped tremendously. My family card points were not loaded after my meal , I wrote my card number on the slip as I usually do.

Service was great and the staff were really friendly upon entrance and while taking our order.

The staff are very friendly and the service is pretty good for the most part, except that we told one of the waitresses that it was someones birthday and they didnt do anything about it, yet we heard them play the birthday song to other people in the restaurant.The food is the worst food I have ever had in my entire life. The lazy aged steak costs R200 and is undoubtedly the worst steak I have ever had the displeasure of eating in my life. You can get a steak at Fahrenheit Seafood and Grill for less than R100 on their Monday special and it is infinitely better and superior than the pathetic, disgusting, overpriced food that this Spur serves.it was my first and last time there, avoid it at all costs unless you want the worst food youve had in your entire life just for kicks.

Our waitress Slue was lovely, she was helpful and friendly. The food however is not what it used to be. Spur has always been our go to for nachos and tonight we just didnt enjoy them. It seems something has changed. We also tried the beef quesadillas and there was barely any filling inside and they were bland.

I had a good experience there, the food was fine and served fairly quickly. It was full, which was to be expected during the end of the month, amidst covid regulations. I didnt see a kid play area, maybe it was there somewhere. There were TV screens showing Olympic games, which was a nice touch. I have nothing to complain about really

My girlfriend loves Spur and I Ocean basket. I approached the operator at the Spur ..been a family restaurant ....asked him if we could sit there and order from ocean basket. The drinks and 1 x meal will be ordered from Spur. He just shut the idea down.I approached ocean basket.....they were extremely obliging. We sat there and ordered 1 x spur meal ad drinks and others from ocean basket.Spur mall of the South you have lost a good customer.

Everything was wonderful as the meal came right in time, the restaurant is practicing social distancing very well and the waiters are following covid-19 rules and regulations.

Not very impressive,unfortunately. Ordered via drive thru, ordered box masters and they were so dry and unpleasant 😩, it was just after 8pm,maybe they were rushing to knock off but that shouldnt be an excuse. The chips smelled of old cooking oil, the meat inside the boxmasters was dry and in such small portions,such a pity I didnt take pictures to share. It was really not nice.

What an awesome place to share a meal with your loved ones! We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary celebration super yesterday.The service was breathtaking. From the reception we received such great service and a lovely chat with Sharon as I was making payment. Almost felt like we were pals for long period of time because she was just welcoming and genuine.Chef Reggies meals were delicious and his service was beyond the call of duty. He made sure we enjoyed our meals and was so friendly and bubbly.The atmosphere was simply amazing! The waiters (Lerato) served us with enthusiasm Ive not seen in ages! The bottomless cold drink and wine fountain is a special touch!

Slue our waitress served our wine five star style. I ate a veggie burger and will only order these from now on. It was lovely. Of course our child loved the safe play area. As usual the food is great at Spur and the service was attentive. Thank you South Dakota Spur.

My third time coming here and I wonder why have I not been coming to this spur.The staff is so helpful and and patient with us. The food is superb. Its the usual spur menu and how they prepare it? I have no idea because it just tastes better.I havent always asked for the names for the other waiters and waitresses but this time I did and his name is Sam... he was great today.All of the ones that served us before have also been great.Oh and you guys make some of the best cocktails ever. Both alcoholic and non alcoholicKeep it up guys

The food was amazing. But the service was hell. Richard our waiter was just too slow. Our deserts took time. He wouldnt give us a chance to explain how we wanted our food. He was talking about us to his friends and we could hear everything. Asked for a glass of water 3 times but we never got it. Dumped us with the bill and disappeared. But above all the food was good. Bt the service spoiled our mood at the table. And no manager was seen around. Oh and our waiter did not even introduce himself. When we wanted to order we had to describe him. Until he got to the table and we read his name tag thats wen we got his name.

Waited forever for a simple toasted chicken mayo sandwich. The toasted sandwich was not toasted, however was served warm bread.Manager was rather friendly and helpful in resolving the issue.The sandwich unfortunately tasted terrible. Spur needs new cooks.The owner of Spur was rather accommodating and eager to please.Can not fault Spur for their friendly and helpful staff.

In general Spur is a good place for steak but the service can vary from one location to another. This was one of the best.our waiter was delightful and attentive without being obtrusive; there was a small problem with my steak not being cooked to my order but once I mentioned it it was immediately rectified.

Visited the Mall for the first time today, 21/6/19. Found it to be very dry in general. Decided to eat at Spur, most horrible experience ! Service was extremely delayed.Waited for ever, for everything! The drinks were close to an hour! The food was an hour long wait....and the steak tasted absolutely awful! Like it had fallen into a raging fire then dumped on our plates....left a long lasting nauseating aftertaste. Manager was gevrek, so trying to get answers was useless.And it wasnt that busy for the awful service..lThe whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths , literally!

Time 10:59 on 25th May 2019, went into Spur to eat waitress brings me a breakfast menu and wanted to order Breakfast, she says I cant order breakfast, so why bring me a breakfast menu!!! Got so angry left the Spur and went to Wimpy. Got nice breakfast meal at Wimpy and satisfied customer. Will Support Wimpy from now on.

One get attended to very quick and you are being checked as to how you feel.

Good food especialy steaks and ribs, great combos. Highly recomended for young families as they have very good and safe play facilities.

It was empty for this time of the month, their famous pork ribs were not the best, but it was quite and relaxing atmosphere.

Great food, made with consistency. Just what you would expect from a Spur Steak Ranch.

Great steaks and burgers, pity the monkeygland sauce is no longer on the menu though.
