Salvation Cafe is one of the best brunch spots in Johannesburg. We went on a freezing cold day and we were seated inside next to a beautiful wood burning stove. It was so cosy. The staff are really professional and the service is great. I had the Copenhagen bagel and it was superb! It’s usually not easy to find a good bagel in Joburg so I was pleasantly surprised.

I understand why we had to queue before we got a table. From the service to the food, all perfect. My friend and I had croissants which were just fresh out of the oven and delectable. We also had their Egg Benedict and Flapjacks all perfect to the last crumble. Their Chair Latte was also one of the best Ive ever had. This place deserves a 10Star. Great joint👏👏👏

I enjoy the outdoor dining the birds singing in the surrounding trees, its fun to watch the yellow weaver birds grab sugar sticks from the tables and peck through to eat sugar then leave it for the smaller sparrows to finish as they cant break through with their becks.

They have really fresh and tasty food. Be willing to wake up super early to go there or stand in a queue. This place closes much earlier than the other restaurants in 44 Stanley but its worth it

It is at a mini shopping center. Theres coffee shops, confectionery, boutiques and a restaurant. I had a pleasant morning. The ambience, service and food are good.

Fresh breakfast. Subpar Omelette. Five star because first time I went I had really good food. Just the omelette on my 2nd visit, my baby sis can make that at home really.

Had breakfast on a crisp pre-spring Sat morning. They dont take reservations only walk ins and we were lucky that we didnt have to wait. Had breakfast burrito and the Royal Duo I think my and some kiddies pancakes. Food was amazing delicate flavours eggs inside burrito cooked to perfection. It was poetic sunlight, birds beautiful setting. Will definitely be back thank you.

Had not been since lockdown and was so pleased that they have survived Covid. A great time was had by all and we loved the sound of the fountain while having our lunch.

Positioned in a villa like setting, feels like you out of the city. Love the village like vibe. Service is good and the vegetarian bunless burger was the best.

I love the The outside urban experience and people watching. But I wouldnt go there if the food wasnt good. Best Eggs Benedici in Jozi and great calamari for lunch!

Had a great time here! Great music and fun crowd. The owner/manager was also quite cool and stopped to chill with us a little bit. Only downside is its a bit cramped, so the bar gets packed and bathrooms have a long queue. Otherwise great if you want a club/bar vibe with eccentric people.

I was so pleasantly suprised with how delicious the food was. I had the Egyptian bunless burger with halloumi cheese and it had great flavors. The atmosphere is very calming. Excellent brunches! I hope the concise menu is kept post-covid. Can highly recommend the Fruit Pancakes and Benedict. Portion sizes are well related to price. Can recommend their milk coffee drinks, perhaps not so much the espresso - quality coffee maybe not a priority here.

Brilliant, up market place to eat and hang out with friends. Lots of outdoor seating areas, especially during this covid situation. I would definitely recommend it to any person who loves good food and good place to converse with your people (no unnecessary music to drown out conversations).

Wonderful little place Ive been going to for years! Their gourmet burger is delicious, although the seed roll isnt as nice as the brioche bun they used to have, would be a welcome addition back to the menu. No visit to Salvation Cafe is complete without trying their signature Tasharita cocktail! Staff are friendly & everything come quickly. Nice outside section is sheltered from the wind & the balcony from any rain. Its the real gem of 44 Stanley. Highly recommend!

Awesome breakfast but you need to get there by 10:00 otherwise you will be waiting in a line but I think its completely worth the wait.

I love visiting Salvage Cafe whenever I have time to sneak away from work for a while.They have the most amazing desserts and the muesli & yogurt breakfast is absolutely delicious (our friendly waitress even managed to order it for me during lunch time).Coffee, breakfast and lunch exceeding all expectations!! 👌

Had the most delicious fillet steak (Brandy Pepper steak) with chips. I have never tasted anything like it. Steak just melted in my mouth. Price is average in comparison with other restaurants which makes it absolutely worth it. The lemon home made cordial was out of this world. Our waiter was friendly and professional. Thank you for making our meal an absolute pleasure.

I love this spot for brunch! I highly recommend the Caribbean pancakes and the savoury sweet duo - an eggs Benedict and a slice of French toast topped with fruit, syrup and a dollop of cream on the same plate. Its the perfect combination of sweet and savoury, its mouthgasmic....

Had brunch here. Has a variety of food- sandwiches, burgers, drinks etc. Nice place to be having brunches, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very hearty salads also- I had the tuna salad and the bf had the halloumi salad which was super good! Also really like Stanley avenue in general. It is filled with cafes and interesting stores!

Look no sit in allowed due to covid regulation. Been here before and didnt like it much. But this time it was different.Would come back again.

The pancakes are honestly - like - just - really, really nice. And there’s a bookstore and chocolate shop less than 10 m away.

I go to this spot on occasion for breakfast. It has a great menu that caters to everyone. It is abuzz with great, food, great service and a lovely cafè ambience. Be prepared to wait on line to get a table though as it is a popular spot. Come early to get parking as well

Tucked away in a busy area is this gem! Their food was great, nice portions of fries. Rather busy so be prepared for a little waiting on your waiter but overall really lovely for a good lunch or post work drinks
