Momo Roku is my new favorite go to sushi spot in Fourways. We were given complimentary prawn chips on arrival, we decided to order all the sushi on the menu and share, the sushi was fresh, creatively put together, beyond delicious and an amazing combination of flavors, highly recommend it. We received a jug of water with lemon which was a very welcome item to have as some of the sushi had a bite to it. Please note however they dont serve alcohol, you can take your own alcohol or order from next door and the unfortunatly the service was lacking, we were ignored most of the evening but there was a birthday party going on and they seemed to get all the attention. I loved the decor, the lighting was not to bright and well placed and the general atmosphere of the place was very homely like your favorite coffee shop. Not a huge place but perfect for a first date or a long overdue catch up with a friend as it is not noisy. Check out Momo Roku.

Food was interesting, tasted good and had an Asian fusion vibe. Restaurant was clean and not crowded. Friendly and efficient service. Will definitely go back to try the other options on the menu

Fantastic - fusion and authentic cuisine. Each Momo is endemic to a particular cuisine and Roku as in the Number is great. Calm, no fuss set up with central location in Fourways and in a bustling Centre. Can get noisy with adjacent stores but a niche, vibey setting. Worth a visit and definitely try the food. 🥢

I absolutely love it!Im very new to Japanese food but I can safely say they have become a favourite thanks to a friend who introduced me to it and the great chefs who make it. The food is rich in flavour!The staff at Momo Roku is super friendly, they explain the menu thoroughly and the food comes without any disappointments.Alcohol isnt served there however you are welcome to bring your own free of charge and youre also welcome to order from the restaurant next-door. You may even order your food there and go have a drink next-door and they will bring the food to you if you wanna stay and enjoy the vibe.

Everything is sooooo good! I literally have nothing bad to say.I could eat here every day.

Great food and service!The morrocan rice and Bangkok noodles were the favorites.Desserts were great too.Only down side was they did not have the popcorn tea available.But will be back next time for sure!

The food is absolutely fantastic however, the service was shocking... Our food took forever to be made,our waiter didnt check on us. One of the dishes for the main was the wrong one.The waitress next door looked better after us than our actual waiter.They have great Vegan options. From Tofu to King Oyster Mushroom. Their Tofu is great. The smoky noodles have a great texture to them.All in all its a great restaurant,please just do something about your service...

Food is great if you eat in, but do not order take aways. Food takes hours to prepare, and they take their phones offline so you can’t contact them. This is not an exaggeration.

Really enjoyed the food. They were slightly understaffed, but the last who served us was lovely. The restaurant needs to make it more clear that they dont serve alcohol, but they allow patrons to bring their own. You have to try the Korean fried chicken wings and the prawn spring rolls. And their ginger beer is refreshing and delicious. I most certainly will be back.

The menu is amazing. The service is 10/10. The food was super tasty and so well presented. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner...light meal or full meal.

I really love the Momo brand and the Roku branch is no exception.Fully halaal.I had a Poke bowl last night which was very tasty but the vegetables could have been cut smaller for a better ease of bite and Mouth feel.This Momo is particularly beautiful. The lighting is reminiscent of neon and tron at the same time. The inspiration is clearly Japanese.I also just really love the green wall. It is a good spot for a date or a meal with friends.

Momo Roku is the perfect place to vibe and enjoy all kinds of tapas with your friends and family. Service was perfect on a busy Saturday night. The food is immaculate! Highly suggest the Boa Buns, the Pot Stickers and THE WINGS! My tastebuds were doing a happy dance all night. They dont have a liquor license however they dont charge corkage so bring your own drinks! Seriously, try it. you wont regret it!

I ordered takeaways here for the first time. BEST decision ever! Usually takeaways packaging is hit or miss. Momo Roku definitely gets 10/10 for the packaging, delicious food and friendly staff.

If you are familiar with the Momo Baohaus brand family, then you know the type of food you are going to get. Each branch has a slight twist to their menu. If you want proper food, come here.Always love their simple yet effective decor. We arrived to an absolute warm welcome from Allan (if memory serves me well).Restaurants in this area were all quiet so more than enough social distancing going on. We checked out the menu then placed our order with our waitress Keznith, she must have looked at us weird with the food we ordered and shared, as we were hangry 😂First up was the Crispy Korean Beef Baos, with Kimchi, Gochujang, QP Mayo Spring Onion, Coriander and toasted Sesame - amazingly delicious and the beef was crisp and served hot.Next was the Ebi Katsu, crispy fried Prawns with pickled Ginger, Aji Rocoto Pineapple Mayo and Spring Onion. Although it sounds great, this was the only dish that was tasteless, which we did relay to Allan.Then we had the Volcano Roll Sushi, Prawns inside, Salmon outside, QP mayo, Sriracha, Kimchi, Tagarashi Apixe and Chilli oil. This was the bomb. Love it.Lastly to share, it was a must to have the firecracker Chicken. 🧨 Crispy fried Chicken, Szechuan chilli oil, Ginger, Gaelic, Crushed Peanuts, Sesame and Spring Onion. Another mouth watering dish. Crispy, crunchy and full of flavour.We couldnt eat any more we were stuffed.I would definitely to back to eat here. Service was good, the vibe was cool, and the food was amazing. Ordered the Ahi Poke, it was delicious, the Wasabi dressing was just so tasty and not overpowering if you dont like this type of spicy. Only thing for me to change for this meal is the marinated tofu, would be better if it was a little crispy... otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Awesome little spot. If you like Asian Cuisine then go for it. Their only downside is that they dont have a liquor license but they can easily accommodate you by either bringing your own drinks or serving you drinks from next door. Their 5 star rating is well deserved. Also their prices are very good

Cosy little place with a nice atmosphere. Food was tasty. Service was excellent, friendly staff. They followed covid protocols and social distancing.

Momo Roku has the standard menu of tapas, bao, side bowls, Momo bowls, Poke bowls and sushi rolls. The specialty at Roku is Kokumi. I understand it’s Japanese for a sensation that makes tasting better. So expect the Kokumi dishes to be extra, which is what I found from what I ordered. I ordered the spicy mussles - portion of 8 with good flavours; deep fried prawns with the most interesting flavours - pineapple and ginger on top, this was spicy but delicious; and I had beef nachos but unlike anyway I’ve seen it prepared - it had wanton nachos, kimchi, vegan umami mayo and cheese sauce. Everything was a wonderful burst of flavour. I didn’t eat the buns that came with the mussels, and had a few actual nachos which means the deep fried prawns was the unhealthiest thing I’ve had in a while. But SO GOOD. How can one chain of restaurants continuously get it right?

I ordered from Uber eats. The food was packaged nicely but the food was not good at all. My calamari was too salty and the chicken was raw. Not a happy customer...

Like most Momos this place is great and quite modern. The menu is very similar to the other places so if youre looking for your favourites youll likely find them here. As always, a good Asian-fusion meal!

Best tastes! Friendly staff, very accommodating. Manager came to explain dishes with excellent knowledge and enthusiasm! Wanted to try everything! But the 3 dishes we ended up sharing was amazing, loved every unique taste,and the Mongolian lamb fried rice took me straight back to China, excellent! The bao was just gorgeous too and my husband loved the nachos. Perfect date night!

All the vegetarian food was fantastic. They have sustainable take away containers but the straws are plastic which was disappointing. Our food took extremely long and when I asked why the food took so long the waitress just said that they made other peoples food before ours, about 3 tables that came after us got their food before we were served.

This was a short stopover on the way to another restaurant.We ordered two starters Nad both were really good. I especially enjoyed the wings. They were crispy without being hard,well seasoned and tasty.Im looking forward to going again for a full meal.

Great for a luxury take away during lockdown. Try the fried calamari starter or share a portion or two of Baos to share (2 in each portion).

The place looks great, the staff is friendly. However there was a few issues, the food took very long to arrive. Worst part is the noise, tbe restaurant next door was blazing music so loud i couldnt hear the person i was with, it made for a very unpleAsant experience. Also a lot of the food options were not available to orderThe manager/owner needs to do something about the noise. For that reason i would not go back

Very disappointed in the bao buns.We usually get boa buns from Momo Soku but decided to try Momo Roku tonight.Naturally we asumed that the quality of the food would be the same as Momo Soku but we were very disappointed.Ordered the Colonel Bao, the Chairman and the Baohaus bao.The Colonel Bao had NO QP Mayo, no fried onions and one small piece of chicken it was extremely dry.The Chairman also had no QP mayo, so it was just dry lamb with 2 or 3 small spring onions.We love to support the restaurants but this is definitely not what we paid for.The Baohaus buns were the only ones that had all of the ingredients.Please check the food before you send it out. If it looks dry and like a choking hazard then try adding all of the ingredients listed in the menu.

Food is so tasty and stimulating to the taste buds. The menu accommodating to all dietary preferences. I highly recommend the delicious potstickers and the Tokyo Bowl. 😋

Just had first Chinese New Year Special at Roku although we eat regularly here, The food and service is always first class. This #chunesenewyear offering was an absolute flavour bomb form heaven. Finally gave up and couldnt eat any more when the bao steamed basket arrived lol. Then there was brownie for desert, Roku food is not a sit eat and go home affair, its more a sit eat and emerse yourself into a whole new food culture. Well done Alan and staff your food and service was outstanding.,

Best Pot stickers, great Korean food variety and seriously yummy Sushi at very affordable prices. Cant go wrong.

Food was disappointing, service was good. I went to Rosebank previously, food was incredible, hence I decided to try Pineslopes. I will never go back to Pineslopes again.

My first time and I loved it , had the Mighty Duck Bao Buns which was recommended by our waitress and the Szechuan Beef Bowel which was nice & spicy with noodles , starters we had the Gyoza Pot stickers with beef and pickled shitake. Julie was amazing with her customer service.Went the second time and received the most atrocious service from the manager Alan. Will definitely never be visiting this establishment ever again. There was hair on our sushi and he claimed it was my hair. I have black hair and the strand was blonde. Didnt even apologize but tried to blame us. Then tried contacting his leadership and that never happened despite us leaving our contact details. We wont ever be visiting this place again. Poor customer service skills Alan.

Recently changed my rating from 5/5 to 2/5. The quality has been slipping month by month for the past 3 months. Your bao portion have halved and prices remained the same. After 30 or so visits, we are unfortunately not coming back again in a hurry unless there is some intervention.

It is well priced considering the quality and variety of the fair available. No liquor license. The ingredients were fresh and the preparation excellent, easily distinguishable separate flavours. For example cheap Chinese food often all tastes the same, here not the case at all.It was a few weeks back so from what I remember the staff are friendly and have that balance between attentive and hovering just right.If you want a quiet night (where you can easily talk), I wouldnt recommend Thursday night. Unless you get there before the party starts next door. When we were there I think that was around 8ish

Ordered via Uber Eats. Absolutely disgusting and inedible food. The fish was smelly and seemed off. I may even consider reporting this to the Department of Health.Requested that they collect the item and was told they cannot and I should contact Uber Eats, who were not able to assist. I have serious mixed feelings about this restuarant!! They had fantastic portion sizes, but most of the dishes we had from the tapas menu just were a miss. Either bland, or the flavour pairings were a little off.It doesnt help that they have no way of cooling their restaurant. So when its 32° at 5pm, and you have been there since 1pm, its a long time to sit in the warm!The staff were great, friendly and were open to answering questions. Well recruited!I really enjoyed their Turkish Delight Lemonade. Friends had a Momo bowl that they enjoyed.Its worth giving a try once, I just dont know if I will be back...

I can highly recommend this place! the portions are big, each dish I have tried tastes amazing, the service is spectacular and is a great place to take your friends. We always order various dishes to share so that we can have a taste of everything. They dont have a liquor license so take your own if you want where they are happy to cater to your needs (ice buckets, ice, glasses etc) Keep it up Momo Roku team you have a good thing going.

The newest member of the Momo group of restaurants based in Pineslopes.We visited for the first time this weekend (after having been to the other branches) and as always, we were blown away.The most incredible food- from the sushi, to the baos and so much more.Alan- our waiter- was absolutely incredible and knew the menu inside out.Will be sure to recommend to anyone and everyone!

Normally everything I wrote would be true, but during covid the quality dropped considerably, don’t even bother with the ribs any longer!The Kung pow bow is amazing fresh, we always go for the Mongolian lamb fried rice...so tasty Korean fried chicken wings and addictive, Momo chain is always a safe bet!

Amazing Asian cuisine. The crispy calamari and duck noodles are fantastic. The sushi was great too, very creative. Its very casual but has a big city vibe with neon lights.
