Fun menu, nice soundtrack and cute decor but food so-so. Every dish hadjusta little something missing or burned. Like my prom Pattie’s and spring rolls were burned in my dish. KFC nap bun was the best dish. Pho was just ok. My broth in the bun cha was way too sweet. The beef stir fry dish was Chinese oily. Not good.

Went here with some friends to grab a drink and had an amazing time then cocktails are well made and the selection of beers was incredible. The food is to die for and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming here again.

I can really recommend a night here. The food is a real taste experience. Excellent selection of drinks and cocktails. The decor is well thought out and you keep discovering little interesting decor items through the night. Staff really amazing.

We only came here for dessert which was yummy but we felt like our brownies needed more ice cream with them because you need to balance the deep chocolate flavour that the brownies had with the ice cream with every bite to really enjoy them but the ice cream ran out before the brownies for both me and my friend. The space is lovely inside though and the food looks and smells absolutely delicious and Ill be sure to return for a proper meal (and extra ice cream with my brownies 😁)

Loved the entire experience!! I would reccomend the cocktail tree as a fun exciting treat before making your way upstairs for karaoke. Saigon makes some of the best Asian cuisine!

The food tastes good, however the portions are jokingly very small (cocktail size). I was very disappointed when it comes to value for money. The restaurant has downstairs and upstairs (outside and inside) seating, both seemed to provide a good atmosphere but the music selection did not make it particularly enjoyable. The cocktail drinks were delicious.

The vibe here is so great. They continously play amazing tunes that encourage you to sing. So we went to the karaoke booth to belt it out and that was even greater.The booth is private and neat. The selection of music is endless. The volume is amazing and there is aircon so you dont get hot and bothered.The waitrons are friendly and the manager is exceptional. The way he took care of us and made sure our mood stays upbeat was extraordinary.Also just to add, the drinking specials they have are tasty and creative.You will have a good time here no matter your mood or company.

Such tasty food. Its was really so pleasant. I opted to have their small plates. Edemame beans, chicken satay skewers, sweet corn fritters, and calamari and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Really flavourful. My drink was great too. I had a cocktail thats name I cant recall (not particularly helpful I know but it was the first one on their cocktail list and was gin based. Bombay saphire to be precise). Then I had the panacota for desert which was lovely. The ambience was lovely too. It had a good energy about it. They even have karaoke if youre that way inclined. Definitely on my to do list next time Im there. You do need to book a private room for it though. I really look forward to trying some of their other dishes.

Unfortunatly our experience was not great. Grumpy staff and dirty tables. Owner called and discuss the issues, this was great and thus the two stars rather than one. Looking forward to give it another try and hopefully better ratings next time.

Low-key aye everything. Great vibe, good good and a nice staff. The KFC is my fav thing! Its a very chilled atmosphere easy music that allows for conversation. Good for large groups and intimate dates, you can share something.

Loved Saigon Suzys - went here last week with a friend for some lunch. Was very impressed with the vegan butternut curry, a little surprise kick which was really enjoyable and the cauliflower starter was a favorite. Delicious from start to end. The N/A cocktails were decent but definitely spring for the alcoholic ones.

Fantastic Vietnamese fusion food, superb cocktails and a fun and vibrant ambience with well thought out decor. A really fun night out! They also offer Karaoke rooms on their upper level. We didnt try it out, but they looked like a lot of fun!

Good restaurant, good food though. I liked the quietness of it. But when I received my bill. There was zapper qr code, which said get 25% when you scan and pay with zapper. I didnt get that 25%.

Great venue with amazing decor. Real time has been taken to make the experience rememberable. The food is priced on the high side and the table system is not the greatest. Waiting for tables when you are a big booking is not ideal and being turned away after a 2h wait with 10+ people is not ideal. Remember team sooner or later you are not going to be the ‘buzz’ of the month.

Tasty Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious and colorful, great service. Had the Bun Cha pork dish for mains, and yummy calamari and dim sum for starters.

Highly recommend going here when in rosebank. The food is delicious food - with a huuuge variety of options to choose from. Additionally, great, speedy service, even when the restaurant is full. All round a nice vibe. Good spot for instagram photos too. Personally didnt go there for karaoke, so my review is based on the restaurant only [but, Im sure the karaoke is suuuper fun too].

Saigon Suzy is a quirky fun place with a Vietnamese slant to it but has a whiff of other cultures on the menu. The food is decent and the service was great. There are private Karaoke rooms (nobody wants to hear The Very Flat Cat sing) and plenty of cocktails to help loose the inhibitions.

We went with the intention of doing Karaoke but as there were only 3 of us we thought R 800 an hour was a tad steep. We enjoyed food and cocktails instead. The cocktails are really really good. I enjoyed the Lotus Flower a little too much. The ambiance is great in the evening when the restaurant is bustling though it can be a bit noisy and chaotic.The food was alright... Thats it. I have had better from a Ucook recipe in all honesty. The portions are small (tapas and sharing plate style) unless youre having one of the few main dishes -which I still feel is pricey for a bowl of noodles.The food generally is quite pricey for the portions size. Theyve built a clever business model in that sense.

It’s probably one of my favourite spots in Johannesburg right now. The quality of food is fantastic. With many so-called “Asian” restaurant around the city, this place is one of the few places that serves authentic Asian food. I highly recommend it.

Cool little spot with a great vibe. We booked aKaraoke room for an hour which was great fun. Very well organized and good service. Pity we couldn’t book a table even though we had booked (and paid) for the room. Think that should be an option to those singing as they even gave us the menu in the room but no eating is permitted in them?

Awesome venue. Had our company year-end function here and the organizer and waiters were superb. Helpful, professional and on the ball so everything ran smoothly and 100% to our liking. The food was great as well - wok-n-roll definitely a must try.

We decided to try something different after shopping in Rosebank and since its December its still rather quiet around Jozi so we didnt need a booking.Situated next to Bolton Road, its among some pretty funky eateries. I love the decor in the place, simple yet funky and edgy. Staff are all friendly and welcoming and our waitress Alicia just had a smile on her face and was such a delight. We ordered the Katsu Chicken Curry, the Imperial Caramalised Pork Belly Broken Rice Bowl, the Pork Belly Ramen Bowl and the KFC Bao starter. We didnt order any cocktails this time round but they did look interesting, and wasnt too keen on the dessert options.The Katsu Curry was unique and different. The chicken was really tender. The Pork in the Rice Bowl was really tasty and yummy. The KFC bao was my favourite small but full of flavour. I was rather disappointed with the Ramen Bowl. Although the Pork was juicy and tender, the entire bowl lacked flavoured to pull it together. Only after I added some Sriracha and Soy Sauce did I enjoy it more, as it needed a bit of salt or something as it was just too bland with all the ingredients.Regardless I enjoyed the place and the experience. Came here for our anniversary dinner and had a really great time. The food was excellent, never had vietnamese before and it tasted great. Portions are big so come hungry!The vibe inside the venue is great with awesome old school rock music and funky decor. The service is also really good and you dont ever have to call a waiter when your drink is empty.The only downside to this branch is the parking which seems a bit dodgy. We came early and got lucky, but later at night you might find yourself having to walk a bit.

I love this place. Absolutely love it. For me its like Japan and Malaysia etc rolled into one. Very unexpected find. Id drop the Susan in place of Fushion but thats the only criticism.... :)

What a treat! Ive heard so many good things about Suzy and Im delighted that she did not disappoint. We had a blast! One cannot make a reservation but that should not stop you from rocking up. The downstairs area was full so we were taken straight to the bar where we chose to remain for the rest of the evening. (Good for people watching and a birdseye view of the kitchen). The decor is a mix of cool, kitch Asian inspired items, the umbrellas hanging from the ceiling being a fave. With front row seats to the kitchen we were keeping a keen eye on all the delicious meals passing us. Our waitress was fabulous and made excellent recommendations! We opted to have a bunch of small tapas style dishes, each one beautifully presented and bursting with flavour! The Korean style fried chicken bun was a favourite! Must try! Desert was a chocolate brownie with rice crispy covered icecream. Delicious and beautiful! The evening flew by and had we drank more wine we might have ended up in one of the kareoke rooms. Sanity prevailed luckily but when we go back it will be a different story!

I ordered the Salmon Salad on Uber eats . The package arrived all stapled and sealed. I opened my Salmon Salad labeled box , to find noodles and salad leaves and NO salmon. I tried to phone all the numbers Saigon Susy has on line as you can not contact them through Uber Eats , only to find you can not talk to anyone, as Saigon Suzy does not answer there phones.Hi Bruce, thank you for your quick response. I do not want to put my telephone number on a public space. Please provide me with a contact number, so that I can talk to you directly.

The place is almost as pretty as my date was last night. She has better music taste though, unless youre really into cheesy rock and roll.

The restaurant is hip and trendy, the decor is lovely. The service was impeccable. They have an outside area at the back of the restaurant, if your looking for a more quiet place to enjoy your meal.

Saigon Suzy has exciting Vietnamese fusion varieties. Great place for sharing a meal and trying interesting flavours. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was there was no Saigon beer!

The decor is absolutely breathtaking with decorative umbrellas, wall art and quotations as one feels whisked away to a secret garden in the city.Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff.However, what really lets down the place is the food. It is edible but not particularly enjoyable. The price is not justified.The 3 star rating is as a result of not living up to the hype. There was a time when a group of friends and I couldnt get in which only made me want to go more. So I had built up expectations for Saigon Suzy only to be given dry duck and a bowl packed with 85% rice.

The efficient, happy and friendly staff make this restaurant highly memorable. I hope that they can maintain this level of service. Edgy design and the deliscious asian fare complete the experience. Trendy young professionals love this venue. The well-apointed, non-binary/unisex toilets/ restrooms/WCs can be a little confusing for some at first.

Had a great time in one of their Karaoke private rooms and loved the atmosphere on their outside sitting area, warm and cozy. Their beef bao buns were really good but was greatly disappointed by their ramen which we were really looking forward to. It looked good but was actually really bland, tasteless and expensive too.
