Asking for my ID and contact number to enter the restaurant is a bit off. The other MCD did not ask for this. Let me get on the POPI bandwagon - What processes do you have in place to prevent my personal information from falling into unauthorized hands. What procedure is in place to inform me that my personal information has been compromised, should that ever happen? Do you have a safe process in place to destroy my Personal Information, in a manner that prevents its reconstruction, after you are no longer authorized to retain such records? In this case, since you need it for COVID tracking, about retaining records for 30 days should be enough, no?

Great McDonalds, never had any issues, although It can sometimes have long line because it is so central.

I bought cheesy fries from them. When i received it, it was a smaller box than usual. I asked the salesperson about it and they told me i lied that i have not received bigger boxes previously. Then when i opened it. It had a mayo type of sauce on it. When i asked why it was added they accused me that im looking for problems, because first i wanted more fries now the quality is the problem. I would not have ordered it if i knew that it had a mayo sauce on it... Bad service all around.

Service was good but in the space of a week I come to a mcdee and theres no forks for my chilli cheese fries I ordered. Im at summerset mall McDonalds and Im typing this while Im sitting and trying to eat my fries with a spoon oh wow what next .

The service and food was good. Its just the Google Maps location is wrong and takes you way to the back of the mall. But no complaints about McDonalds

This McDonalds is in the Mall of Somerset West, extremely strict on masks, temperature testing & completing your details in there register, it is kept very clean & tidy, the staff are sweet & helpful, there dress attire is also smart, always happy to go there.

Worst service! Very arrogant staff and manager. Would recommend that you stay away. No beverages available and you still need to pay for all meals

Nice place with breathtaking outside seating area and an extra playing ground for the kids. Its a wonderful restaurant ideal for family, small parties or even a date.

Couldnt redeem McDonalds codes via the drive thru. Had issues redeeming. All staff was unfriendly including the manager. Coffee was a watered down version of what i usually get at other restaurants.

It was horrific. I had to explain myself over 10 times. It was simple 4 meals with different flavored cool drinks.. 2 chicken salads with a extra cool drink and 2 chicken Cajun burger meals.. but the person didnt understand that. And added to that I had to wait 5 minutes before I got served line was growing behind us. It was like a trainee was teaching a trainee what to do

TERRIBLE!!!!!! Stood in a queue for over 30mins,to get to the window and be told the store is closed with staff watching you as u enter the queue and letting you stand in the queue. I have had disappointment with your food in the past, but still went back for my kids sake..but no more!!!!

Very bad service, at 6pm they did not have chicken nuggets, happy meals,juices or even coke.They asked us, after being in the drive through for half an hour, to wait three more minutes for our food. Three minutes became 15 minutes. More than half our order was incorrect.Terrible experience

The food is great, staff needs a wake up

The staff are friendly and efficient. The quality of the food is in accordance with McDonalds standards which is good. There is hand sanitizer at every counter and if you enter the premises you have to sign in and leave your contact details for contact tracing should there be a problem.

Sufficient customer service. However the drive thru requires better lighting (looks and feels dotchy at night).

I thought a drive through where you drive through. Why was I standing longer in this que than at home affairs. Very Very Bad Service. The women at the window is always laughing. I do not recommend you can cook faster than coming to this McDonalds.

Never waited so long for your food and lady in front was rude as we first wanted to check the breakfast on main board she said rudely you must order at machine and clearly acknowledge white people but not us.

I hope I am spelling her name correctly, but Xholiswe (the staff manager in charge at closing time on the 4th of February 2021) is absolutely amazing. I had lost faith in this branch due to poor service in the past but she has singlehandedly changed my mind. I had forgotten half of my order and driven off but when I came back, she handled the situation with professionalism, friendliness and respect. She is an example of what a true manager should be and I wish her nothing but the best for her future. I hope she gets to see this because I would truly like to express my gratitude.

I bought breakfast, sausage egg McMuffins for my family and myself. We ended up throwing the patties away as it tasted horrible and smelled like fart, super disgusting and the buns were super small, not like it used to be. Very poor quality food for the price and very disappointing.

Visit Mc Donalds Somerset West for a quick Chicken or Beef Burger. Service was fast and we had a great time although kids were not allowed to play in the play area due to COVID-19 regulations. Slightly disappointed that not all the Mcafe Cold beverages was not available, non the less we had a good take away meal.Have a Mac Day.

Lekker fast food in a small town far from home..

Walked in, got shouted at, walked out....Did not appreciate the way staff speaks (shouts) at their customers as if they are dogs... sis man. Once upon a time this was a better McDonalds to come to... so disappointing...Ps: man your sanitizing stations properly AND stop shouting like fish wives.

I ordered a happy meal with a boy toy for my son at the drive thru yesterday , I specified no ice and when I received my order the cooldrink had ice in it I asked the server to correct it she abruptly told me that I should have asked for no ice when I ordered, I told her that i specified this, she wasnt interested she ignored me flat out and continued with the order. She gave me a new cooldrink without ice but no apology just a dirty look. When I arrived at home I notice that she also didnt include the toy.No customer service
