Such a lovely place wow. The design and feel of the store is incredible and great. The team were helpful and friendly.

The food was great! Love the deco, but not so much the soiled couch.

Did my order online, paid at the restaurant. My order was ready at the time I specified, staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitley be visiting again.They give the option for the meal to be brought to your car while you are parked and while I didnt use this option, from what I saw of the other vehicle this was really efficient.

This Nandos chicken is the real thing!! Puts to shame all other similar Nandos fast food chicken places. Nandos in Ontario Canada is pathetic... They should all travel to South Africa, visit a Nandos store and taste their food. Chicken is nicely cooked (not over cooked or undercooked). The sides are ridiculously delicious and the sauces are unique. After placing the order, returned to the table and in less than 10 min, food and drinks arrived. Although there are is no servers/waitress, and people who brought the food, occasionally where stopping by to check if there is anything else we needed. Very curious, friendly and attentive. 👍👍

Went to the drive through earlier this evening. So when they aventually take my order, only 2 quarter chicken an chips. I was told to wait 30 minutes cos the chicken was still in the oven. Rather close your doors if you cant serve what you advertise. Wont see me there again or even recommend that store.

The chicken was dry and tasteless for an exuberant price. Really expected more, not really familiar with Nandos but this was meh.Also, seriously, your foods are mega mega saucy so just 1 napkin for 2 meals is not nearly enough if I plan on sitting somewhere scenic away from society to eat.

First time ordering online. The order confirmation says collect at drive through. We stand in the drive through for 15min only to be told we need to go inside for collections. Get inside, the people ordering at the drive through got their order faster than us who ordered online 30min ago. Waited 45 min in total to get my meal. Not a good experience at all.

Drive through closed due to technical difficulties. Very convenient since its always closed during your peak times. Train your staff better and youll be able to keep your drive through open and bring in more business.

Pathetic! Take away yesterday afternoon. Basic request, Hot peri peri chicken livers, with mild pap and relish. Single order. What I got was a dry, Extra hot peri peri chicken livers. No roll. No butter. Nandos Strand should be ashamed.

Never have a good experience here. We Always have to wait when going through the drive through - usually almost an hour. Last time we were there it was the 2nd time the card machine didnt work, and they only took cash... Which we only learned once getting to the ordering booth. There is no one telling this to customers to avoid them from waisting time in the queue unnecessary.

The person who took the order, her voice was very difficult to hear / very indistinct.We ordered pulled chicken sandwiches which were delicious. But she asked what side order we wanted with it. She didnt name the choices so we just said chips.When we got home to eat we discovered that the chips were covered with a very chilly type seasoning. We were not asked what type of chips we wanted as before and as we hadnt been there for some time had forgotten that there were different types of seasonings. Some we tried to remove most of the seasoning with the serviette but as we are very sensitive to string food, it did burn our mouths quite a bit. Many thanks.

The worst experience ever and not the first time it has happened to me why do you have a drive thru on site if you still have to wait 30 minutes after you have paid for your food then you might aswell close your drive thru and just have a walk in

Sadly I will no longer go out of my way to buy chicken livers here. The portion sizes have decreased substantially and there was hardly any sauce accompanying the livers. Disappointed.

Very Disappointed!Went to Nandos Brits and had Pulled Chicken, Avo and Halloumi Boujee Bowl and loved it. 21 July 2021 Took my Wife to Nandos Strand for her to taste my new Favourite meal. What a let down.Ordered 2 x Pulled Chicken, Avo and Halloumi Boujee Bowls Lemon an Herb.. O man was I Disapointed! I receive my order Late in Parking Chill Bay then left and at home found - 1 x Mild Veggie Bowl and 1 x mild pulled Chiken bowl. BAD BAD11

I have been there several times and all those times Im more disappointed in the service than the food quality.If people have to go through the drive-through only to have to wait by the parking lot all the time, then there really is NO need for a drive-thru.I was disappointed and agitated last night (15/07/21) when I was the last car on the drive-thru when a guy came from the store and put a board just behind my car. I suppose it read they were closing. But then, all the cars in front of mine ordered and when I got to the ordering machine, I was told the door (garage door) was closed and I couldnt order. After waiting close to 10mins on the drive-thru queue!!! Why was a board NOT placed in front of me if they were going to cut me off??!!!If youre going to close long before the curfew, communicate it to customers who are already there WAITING!!!

Incredibly disappointing visit to Strand Nandos - not my 1st time either. Gave them the benefit of the doubt after a previous visit which was similarly disappointing. This time we waited 20 minutes for our order and our roast veg side was needless to say, not anything close to roasted. More like soggy veggies. Granted, Nandos is probably not known for their roast vegs but atleast try and sell customers something that somewhat resembles the images you have on your menu.

For the last 5 times buying at Nandos Strand drive through every single time they tell me to wait in the parking lot for 5 minutes no matter how big or small the order is. After waiting every single time it is longer than 20min waiting period. The staff is unfriendly amd this is honest my worst customer service experience ever. On Sunday i waited 35min for a slush drink.Avoid Nandos Strand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff was very kind and brought our meals to the car when they experienced some delay in the kitchen. The meals were freshly made and perfectly prepared.

I have had much better visits here but this one was the pits. Got served soggy and cold corn with my meal. Had to wait an hour at the table with my only view being the dirty table opposite me that was not cleared up until just before we left. I had a 4 star review on here before hopefully i can have a better experience here next time......if i ever return

I waited more than 45 minutes for my food. My food was cold, but burned as well. Im not sure how that is possible. When I asked why the food took so long they said they dont know and that they might have forgotten about my order. The glass they served me was dirty. To their credit, it was a public holiday and they gave me a side of fries for the long wait (without me asking for anything). Still though, the quality was bad overall. I hope that this was an isolated case.

Their rolls are ALWAYS hard and stale. No matter the time of day, or day of the week you go there. The last few times Ive been there, Ive been given old, stale bread and its very disappointing. Other than that, their service is generally good and the rest of the menu is decent.

Dont tell people they will wait 5min for an order, which then turns to 25mins. I, just like most would have more patience if I get a more honest estimate

We waited almost 40 minutes in the drive through for our food. We ordered and paid for full portion chicken livers and half a chicken, but received small portion livers and two pieces of chicken. Extremely disappointing

Really?? You need to wear a mask in your car at the drive through even though you are alone in your car. And by the way, the peppers on the hotpot is far too big. All other Nandos branches cut it into small decent sizes.

The suace on the chicken is watery and not tasty. The hygiene is good with hand sanitizer everywhere. Staff are friendly and efficient but the value for money is not good as the sauce is rather lousy. A flame grilled chicken with no sauce would be better. Thats how they used to prepare their food previously.

Weve been waiting for quite some time for the opening and boy was it worth the wait.Opening night drew quite a crowd, drive thru was busy - to be expected ofcos.Food was on point. Super Fresh rolls, spicy chips & the chicken that went to private school never disappoints.Just a tip : When ordering the 1/4 chicken, go with the breast option.. The leg portion is quite smaller.Ill Def be back to explore the menu a bit more.👍🙌 Decor is different (in a good way) which is a huge plus. Hope it inspires the surrounding businesses to step up their game as well.Side note : get security to keep the *rondloopers* away ... Not ideal having them knocking on everyones windows while they waiting at the drive thru. 👌

Bow you heads in shame Nandos Strand. Dirty tables, all 12 of them that you couldnt even sit down. We cleaned it ourselves. Waited 1 and a half hours for the food(with todlers) while the drive thu was running at a fast pace. Food stations was shocking! Dirty washing area, counter area shocking, papers on floor, shocking shocking. After all of our 2 and a half hour experience I asked who is the manager. He appeared from chilling at the back... really. This Nandos is a disgrace to all the other Nandoss

I had to wait 19 minutes for a hotpot. 3 ppl in store, 2 came in after me and left before me. Manager did nothing to aid in speeding up the order. Usually a good place to get food. Bad experience today. Eventually manager gave me chips for my wait. Chips why chips, why not something that will get me to give a better review. They messed up , they should fix it. Sad to say they lost the plot

Got my meal and it wasnt to the quality I am used too. When I complained the manager gave me attitude and was quite rude in her approach to me. it was if I cant complain although the food was really not cooked well and full of oil.. really disappointed at her attitude.

I havent been there recently (last week or 2) but for the last few times that I went the chicken were so thin and small, sometimes slightly burnt.The last time I went they didnt have cold slaw, so they asked if they can swap it with a Greek salad but there was no feta cheese included.The first month they opened the quality of the food was according to the standard of what Im familiar with Nandos.... But thereafter it has been most of the time disappointing...

The lady that served us at the drive thru was brilliant. She knows the menu, she knows what she is talking about, her service was super and she really had us impressed. The food was great. I will visit your Nandos again and again. And we drive from Pringle Bay to get Nandos. 10 stars for this store.

Drive thru service was friendly but we then had to wait for the chicken which was still in the oven. If you choose drive thru then the process should be quick and painless. The chicken was acceptable but for the price you would expect excellent check and excellent service. I am not sure we will be back.Update. Dont bother. Thus is a full portion of livers!

Very understaffed! People had to queue because there was only one person working the order counter. Worst of all, even though were in a pandemic, we arrived to at least 4 tables that hadnt been cleared, and after at least 20 minutes, someone finally came to clear the tables but didnt bother sanitising it nor the seats. Never had such a bad experience at a Nandos before 👎

Ordered on the app an hour prior so that I would not have to wait in store for a long time, given the pandemic. Instead i waited for 25 minutes in store. Other customers were sitting in the waiting area with masks below their noses. Staff didnt do anything about it. I expect better from Nandos. They also got my order wrong in terms of flavours.

Monday1/2/2021 I wanted to buy a Hotpot, answer: we do not do Hotpot on Monday, previously: we dont have rice, we dont have chicken, I mean, a chicken place THAT DOES NOT HAVE CHICKEN. This was my third time I get this pathetic service from this Nandos branch, which by the way is not a franchise, IT IS RUN BY NANDOS HEAD OFFICE. If this is how head office runs its branches, PATHETIC. Stay with head officing (made up word) and give Stand Nandos to a Franchise person100 thumbs down to your Strand Branch, they SUCK!!!!!!!!!!
