The staff nd everybody is great thanks to Lucia great waiter but the floor Manageress just sits in one place nd stands and chat to her friends white of course but didnt make an effort to come nd ask around which is her duty but that place has that change since the new owners took over Malmesbury nd its people are nice nd support gladly to local businesses but the owners/Msnagment nust do there part to

Poor service today, actually NO service. Waited for 5min to be helped, the manager and a waitress just stared at me, with no attempt to help or serve me. Wimpy was a much better option!

Food is fresh and portions are generous. Not a very busy restaurant but certainly a great pit stop when on a long trip.

Food Spur greatService not good at all

The place is great except the fact that I didnt have a proof of address to indicate Im the local so I can use Wifi the locals were issued with passwords.

I had the most horrible dining experience ever at Sabino Canyon Spur. From being greeted and seated by staff that seem if they rather not be there, to 30min plus wait for food that was not made to order.You have lost a loyal customer.

Sabino Canyon Spur is another well oiled machine. I called ahead to confirm that they were open was grated by a young gentleman, who even assisted with parking advice. On arrival we were walked to our table and the menus followed immediately thereafter. Our waiter was possibly the same energetic person that answer the phone and in no time our condiments, drinks and meals followed. The Cheddamelt Burger was as delicious as expected and hit the spot. Well worth a visit, short or long, you wont go wrong.

We took a take away tonight. And I must say it was very well prepared and sooooooo tasty. Could it be because its been tooooo long? No no no!!!!! 5 stars for Malmesbury Spur😋😋

It was a great experience to have our family breakfast there. The covid19 protocols were followed by all the staff was friendly and the food was great. The only thing that was not a good thing was that we asked for our coffee with the meals and it actually came almost after the meal. Great shout out to the kiddies play area and the lady on duty for cleaning and being professional on the level of the young kids.

The lady that welcome us was very friendly and helpful throughout. She got us the waiter who however takes his time with he service. If you do t call him he doesnt come back to check up in you even the the place so less than 50% empty. The kids playroom small with only two play stations.Welcoming lady you get 5 stars. Overall is a very lovely place to enjoy meal with whole family . I Will do it again🕺💃🕺💃🕺

Open for business. Full out sit down . Great staff , friendly owner with great sit down reccomendation . Their garlic and cheese prawn starter is fresh as can be. They need the support during these times . Take the time to sit doen and eat if passing through. The food is absolutely amazing. Enjoy.

I reduce my previous five star rating to a three star. Not because the friendliness and professional service deteriorated, but because I realized that there is no wheelchair access toe the restaurant.

I am only rating my experience a 2 . We ordered large chips and 2 waffles, the bar one waffle looked terrible . The bar one sauce they spread it with a knife all over over . The waffles tasted very old , overall it was not a great experience .

We called ahead to have a birthday dinner at Sabino Canyon Spur and when we arrive, the table was set with red velvet table cloth, roses and a special menu for our budget. This was excellent. Thank you very very much

Spur all over has become the same... Racist waiters ... managers think they are some kind of gods. I hope one day spur gets bought over and revamped or just closed down for good.

Worst restaurant experience in my life. Waited 1 h for our orders to be taken. Waited 1.5h for our food. Food came in drips and drabs. Had to go fetch our own cutlery. Some food never came. All food that came where wrong. I would rather eat anywhere but at this spur. Managers clueless.

We are not a SPUR couple!! We visited Malmesbury today, and decided to have a SPUR lunch. We were pleasantly surprised. The service we received from Darall, Stella and Koot from arrival to departure was friendly and professional.....EXCELLENT. The preparation and presentation of spare ribs and calamari was a cut above other SPURS we have visited. We wish you well, keep up the good work.

One of the best spurs I ate at. The quality of the food was great; the food was warm when it arrived, the portion of the chip and onion rings was the most Ive had compared to any other spur.

Best decision to have made today was having a meal at Sabino Canyon. The staff was amazing and both the chicken, bacon and avo salad, and the calamari strips were absolutely delicious.

Food was good, although the place was packed. Service somewhat on the slow side.

The food was average, not much zest in it, the chicken taste like meat, all in same sauce..the welcome at door was great tho...& the waiters were friendly

Ate there many times before and loved it. However today the service was slow and the food was a let down. Will not consider going there soon again.

We normally have breakfast there at least once a month and our experience is always nice. The breakfast menu has changed and the dropped one of my favourites which us the French Toast with Bacon, Banana and Maple Syrup which is a bit sad though...

I had to wait long for my food. Was interrupted by people having a birthday party. We had to move to give them more space. Not going there again. I prefer the one parow, voortrekker road. A much better spur.

IT IS ILLEGAL TO SELL ALCOHOL BEFORE 10AM IN YOUR STORE. YOU ARE TOO BUSY SELLING BEER AND BRANDY TO SERVE BREAKFAST PROPERLY. Arrived for breakfast. Waiter was friendly and helpful but no management in shop to speak of, which was evident in the food: unreal breakfast was mediocre at best, had to send back old/cold toast and watch already crappy breakfast grow cold waiting for it. There is an Engen, Wimpy and Steers across the road, go there rather.

9/10/2017 For my sons birthday we experienced very poos service. Orders takin by the Manageress herself were wrong. Ribs were raw and frozen. No finger bowles or wipes on the table. I am not one to complain but this was my sons special day. We have been clients of this spur for years.Sorry to say but this is the last time that we will support Sabino Canyon Spur.

Do not even own 1star. Service very bad. Serve your coffee in cups who are split. Milk cold . coffee cold..WAITING MORE THAN 20 MINUTES BEFORE SERVICE. WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN..WAITER HAVE TO MANY EXPLANATIONS ABOUT THE CUP. I DONT WANT TO HERE ABOUT THEIR BUDGET....BAD.......

Sadly going backwards...no love in the food.ordered nachos,got chips topped with tomato paste,no flavour. Garlic shrimp that is so rubbery and toast so oily with it that it looks deep fried. Sorry guys but I definitely dont want to support you anymore. Came from far to visit,wont do it again.

Service very poor (mothers day). Totally understaffed. Waited 2 hours for our food. Wine bottle served and had to wait 30 minutes for 2 glasses. We were 3 people. After numerous requests went to kitchen myself to fetch an extra glass.
