This is probably the best Italian restaurant that Ive ever eaten in... Ever! Which makes me sad as the previous best was a top 100 restaurant that made me feel like family. Definitely going to become a weekly resident of this restaurant. Carry cash as they dont accept cards.

Worst experience. Ordered bruschetta for starters but instead got a large burnt pizza with huge chunks of tomatoes and basil pesto. This was definitely not bruschetta! Being an Italian restaurant they should know the difference between pizza and bruschetta. The service was really bad. When asked the waitress for suggestions it seemed as if we had asked the world of her, as if we worried her with a big task. No interest from the owner/ manager as well. We asked for a spicy pizza but got something extremely bland. The pasta was also disappointing.

It is not everyday that a pizza beats me. Today it did. My friends had been before but it was my first time at this cosy authentically presented Italian eatery. The waitress was friendly and quick to take our drinks order which arrived promptly. The food order was taken without hassle and also arrived within the appropriate time. The al forno looked piping hot and was a huge portion of penne and cheese and goodness. The salada caprese with Parma ham was done with real mozzarella fiori de latti and super thin Parma ham. Delicious number two. My Adrian pizza with salami and Brie cheese was perfectly done. Crispy and tasty and far too much for me. I took three slices home and my friend ate the other one. It was that good. The seating was it great and the tables a bit too small to comfortably accommodate four people and their food. That is why they lose the one star. Also it is not wheelchair accessible although the four steps in front are not that steel for someone using a cane to walk. No view to speak of but there are nice touristy posters on the wall or you could actually speak with your companions!! Oh yes and the cream puffs! Oh my hat. Let’s just say we started off with four and ended up with about 12 and three espressos... we will be back!!!

Best pizzas, Burgers and pizza in town. Yes, burgers aswell. Old days of the cliche saying that Italian restaurants are only good at pizzas and pastas are done. I will support this particular restaurant for years to come.

My wife and I havent had an Italian home style meal for long. We were not properly welcomed but found the careless of the owner/manager to the other side of phone reminded us the eateries from Rome. Foods are authentic northern Italy cooking, ran by related who proud of themselves.

Brilliant experience. Very cosy and true thin based Italian pizza - just the way I like it. The owner also makes sure that everybody is comfortable. A nice selection of wine and a great variety of dishes. Definitely worth going.

We have all tried new recipes, baked bread and experimented with peanut butter biscuits during lock down but when it comes to pizza and pasta, dont waste your time at home. Treat yourself to an outing at this family owned Pizzeria and enjoy some of Mamas pastries with the best coffee in town.

Great spot for authentic Italian food.There is a great selection of Pizzas to choose from, every time I’ve had one it has been amazing.Pasta options look great although I haven’t tried one yet.Wine List is very nice and corkage is cheap.Only downfall is that only cash and zapper is accepted so come prepared.

Terrible service. We called beforehand and made a reservation, when we arrived, they told us that they want to close, we can order take away or eat fast. Someone in the kitchen kept yelling over the girl trying to help us, that we can order but we have to eat fast, we have like 45 minutes We then walked to a table as we werent escorted to one then we sat there and no one came to take our order. When a waiter eventually showed up, she walked to every table except ours (she had to pass us to get to them). Then we sat some more knowing that our time limit is decreasing and no one came so we got up and left. Terrible service, especially with the man yelling from the back.

Great food & good desert but what an shabby place and terrible decor, not the best atmosphere. The welcoming is also not on the top of the rank.... really sade to see such a potential going down.... looking forward to see some improvement one day......

Close your eyes, go there on a sunny day and youll feel like in Sicily!The restaurant is so typical :) the owner and waiter even have a strong Italian accent, they are also nice and helpful.The pizza was very good!Only darker point is that they dont accept credit cards. But they accept zapper so we didnt have to drive and withdraw money.

This is the best Italian restaurant with the best Pizza 🍕 I’ve experienced in South Africa.

The food was great, but the whole ordering process was frustrating. I used the link on their Facebook page to place an order. The order said I must pay the driver R240, but when the driver arrived I was charged R365. When I queried this and showed the driver the screenshot of my order, he didnt seem to believe me and asked how they can know that is what I ordered... Uhm, it has a reference number... He phoned the owner who said that the new price of the Meaty Pizza went from R125 to R180... But that is not what my order said. The owner then said (on loudspeaker) that the website I used is old and they dont use it anymore... How should I have known that if it is the website you provide on your facebook page? Trying to support the locals during this time, but had to stand outside for 15minutes while they tried to figure out what was going on. Rather go in if you want to order, would save you a hassle.

Tasty Pizzas, wonderful staff, location and prices

Good food, basic but enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable. The wine list is not very large so recommend that you take your own. Their homemade pastries are amazing. Even if you just go there to get pastries it is worth the drive.

While in Italy we were told of this authentic Italian restaurant on our doorstep. It does not disappoint. We have been back every week... sometimes twice a week since our first taste of their delicious fare. Very highly recommended

Where can i give a big ‘no star’ ? Horrible service, cash only, no vegan cheese available, asked without cheese but still get pizza with. Eventually something they called a pizza came in, could difficultly eat it. Pity looks like a place with great potential but definetly an horrible experience for me.
