The service here is disgusting I stood for more than 13 minutes waiting for a cashier meanwhile theyre all at the back arguing about who should be at the front.There were so many people seated. What about covid? I love coming here its convenient but never again.

So Cheryl the store manager responds to my complaint and says she will call me back... Gets someone else to call me back and says that the big macs I purchased was made correctly... This burgers was so dry... Okay Cheryl so this is how bigmacs should be made. This is standard procedure.

Visited the McDonalds Vangate Drive Thru. Order and paid for. Beef Share box, came home only to realize the was only to realize there was 2 burgers missing. Super disappointed, was never going to waste my petrol driving back. Tried calling numerous times, only to get the answering service. Definitely wont be visiting McDonalds anytime soon.

Lady by the name of spokazi that was taking orders on the 15 Oct 2021on the drive thru was very friendly and professional.i liked her mood.we need people like her.keep it up

Its a pretty robotic place. Staff do what they have to and nothing more most of the time. This is somewhat of a good thing but it doesnt hurt to maybe smile at times.

Good service is very rare at this specific McDonalds. Not only do you have to wait at least an hour in the drive-thru, if you decide to order online, your order will either have items missing or it will simply not show and phones will be left unanswered. Once, the delivery driver even charged us over 1k for our meal by accident and they left us waiting for a refund for more than a week. Not even a coupon as an apology. Horrible.

I ordered a family meal get home only to find the order Is 2 burgers short.I tried to call the vangate branch but phone just goes to answering service all the time.Absolute waste of my time and money

I was astounded by what she told me I think we need to be very careful who we employ at our businesses because they could be the main reason why the branch loses out on business.

The drive thru is almost always full and slow. Ice cream machine never works and its the first McDonalds that didnt have Chilli Cheese Fries. Very nice McCafe, but rather drive to another McDonalds. They urgently need to expand the size and workforce.

The absolute worst McDonalds drive thru Ive ever sat in. At first I thought the slow line was because of the amount of orders, but when I got to the window to receive my food I understood why the line was slow. It took 2 minutes just sitting there waiting for the food and after it was handed to me the lady at the window stood there talking to a Co worker while my drinks were literally in the counter right next to her. I tried to get her attention 5 times! This was a complete waste of 30+ minutes in a drive thru and I will never advise anyone to use this McDonalds. Youre better of a bit further to get some decent service

According to my knowledge you guys are supposed to close at 10. It was 9:30 and the security is standing in front of the entrance telling the cars to turn around, they are closed!!!

Ive only been there once, but this particular day that I visited it was actually a straightforward experience like a Macdonalds should be. The Covid procedures were spot on, the self ordering machines worked, the food came quickly and tasted like I expected. Thats what I expect from McDonalds and thats what I received and thats why I go there - predictable experiences. No stars need to be subtracted or added. Well done.

Yesterday Frid 18th ,the drive through que was so long and waited more than 5mins at a time when u stop an go. One of the staff came outside a lady ,and told us to make 2 ques how can we? If theres yellow road markings(exit rd) on your left,when you get to the junction of ordering thats when the cars split one on the left and one on the right.There was alot of congestion and at 1 point the Manager came outside and hurried the staff by the window,it was the worst and the longest time Ive ever waited by a drive through...

Slow and packed with some people waiting and standing in the drive through to place their order.

Since the renovation its been useless. The place looks great but that doesnt compensate for the fact that the workers dont know how to use their App and they dont know why the prices on the board are different to the price at the till point 🤦🏽‍♀️. Also the worker serving us kept pulling up her nose!!!

I went to Macdonalds Vangate to have an appreciation breakfast with two of the young men from our churchs worship team. These are guys who get up at 7:00am on a Sunday morning, get to my place by 8:00 and pack all the equipment and instruments for church into my car, set up for the service, break down afterwards, repack my car and unpack it again when we get home every Sunday.It was the first time I had been there after the recent refurbishment and the first lockdown. What a pleasant surprise. The new ordering touch screens were cool and and the assistants very helpful. The food was good even though I am not a MacD fan. I was more intrigued by the service and the venue.They really should put on another storey upstairs with those fantastic views of the mountain why do we have to sit and look at the traffic? Just saying that I would think about taking someone special there if it had a great view with the great service.

The meal was nice however the orange juice was basically water mixed with yellow colouring it was disgusting and flavorless! Usually the orange juice is really nice but this is the second time getting this garbage orange juice!

Drive through is usually quick but Im not impressed with the amount of sauce they put on the Grand Chicken Spicy... It gets less and less every time. Other McDonalds put on far more. With the amount of sauce I got the last time, my burger wasnt even spicy 🤔🤨

Recently upgraded with a Mac café, but staff bit trained well. So just another Macdonalds, with upgraded facilities.

Often have no icecream but youll only find out when you place the order. No signage upbahead to save from waiting in the long queue. 3 out of 5 times the order isnt ready when you reach that last window then you are forced to wait in the parking

Totally forgot about the cuppucinos we ordered, received them 37 minutes later after reminding them.

24 hour service and close to major roads. At times the service is awful and at other times excellent.

The drive through can be very slow, and because those machines inside cannot custom make certain orders, like swapping the chicken in the fold over for a veggie burger, am always in that slow queue of the drive through. But good customer service over all.

Mm.. firsrly, if its my fault Im sorry but there was no way of knowing the front door from the exit, had to ask somebody how to get in. Secondly, waited 5 minutes just to order and eventually did the virtual machine ordering. The time it took to make the food was fairly good. Waited around 5 minutes or so. But exiting was the same. The same door that doesnt work, has no sign of saying so. Had to use the same door I came in by. And why are you so selfish with sauce. I love my chips drizzled in sauce, which requires about 3 packets of sauce. It might sound greedy but once you get to the bottom of your chips, its so dry and unpleasant that the over saucing your chips actually helps you enjoy it to the end. One thing though, your Big Mac stood to its name. It was squashed like at other branches or had lettuce falling off the burger. It was well sauced and well prepared. Kudos for the food. Just please improve the visuals and signage 😇

My till receipt shows my order was placed at 20:26:33, I only received my order at 21:21:00,I asked the cashier to write the time on the slip which she did. The problem at this place was that the drive thru had so many vehicles already waiting so I decided to go into the McDonalds there wasnt a lot of people ahead of me, the drive thru service doesnt stop there, I waited and saw that the delivery people got helped before the people waiting. The long wait for the customers in the shop is unacceptable. To the staff working there its not a big deal to keep people waiting this long.
