The schnitzel was good, I liked the mushroom sauce and my friend’s steak was also good. I liked the food here and might visit again to try the steaks.The Drink was just Ok. I’ve had a much better made daiquiri at other restaurants. I hope they can improve the recipe on this drink.The waiter was friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a good experience.I would recommend visiting this restaurant. They have good food.

I paid extra and ordered baffalo wings and was supposed to get 12 (R120) instead of 8 (R87) but they only delivered 9. what a scam--UPDATED--mix up with someone else order. Spur went out of their way to deliver correct food order. good customer service

I had the most unpleasant experience. Waited for 55 minutes for my order , when I raised concern with Staff I was answered with so much hostility and rudeness. I would not recommended this place to anyone unless you want to spoil your dinner date.

I made a reservation for Tuesday and spoke with Victoria on Monday, I even called her today and asked about laodsheding back up plan, she yes we do have a generator, and she even said to me see u tonight at 6h30 Oliver, to our biggest surprise when we got there, the reservation wasnt made!!! Nobody came to apologize to us, However they managed to organize us a table,Our waiter came, he didnt even introduce himself, we ordered drinks and food, my nephew ordered a banana shake it came out too watery, and didnt taste like banana at all, he brought another one, which was better however he never came and bothered asking if my nephew liked the second shake?When the food arrived, he never came and check on us,including the manager which is a standard and basic simple thing to do, the table was full of dirty plates and glasses I had to call him and the other lady to take them away,When the cake arrived, the waiter brought side plates without spoons, to me that was shocking and unacceptable!!!! we had to ask him for spoons to eat the cake 😂We asked ourselves is he new or thats the kind of service u guys offer?We actually had 2 kids who were not comfortable eating from adults seats, we were not offered any seat for kids, I guess we should have asked but again thats basic and standard things to right?I will never come back to Malibu spur and will never recommend someone,

Our first burger night at Spur in many months and we really enjoyed it. Good quality tasty food, including the veggies. Good coffee as well.

I spended the whole day enjoying my birthday and late decided to have dinner with my my brother at spur Bayside, its a good environment to chill as I always eat at spur but this time around was so disappointed. The food took time to arrive and the waiter Sandra didnt even bother to come and tell us whats was happening, when the food came she checked up on us only once I ended up having only one glass of wine and we ended up never ordering anything because we were not welcomed at all, the stuff was shouting all over, they never even sing or give anything small birthday gift rather we were ignored. I would recommend people to go to other restaurants /spurs but at Bayside go at your own risk, you should always leave some space for disappointment!

My oder wasnt ready, they didnt even have it on their system and they werent helpful at all, saying they cant help until my order proof of payment shows online even though have proof of payment n got msg accepting my order. I dont whether its @Spurs new recipe or what but they definitely got the onion rings wrong...these were hard and crunchy, very difficult to chew. Also this wooden tray for a plate is bad idea!!

So seeing as the alcohol ban has been lifted (finally) I was very excited to order tequila shots before my meal yesterday evening. Sadly I received watered down tequila, not slightly watered down, but more like water with a dash of tequila for flavoring. When my boyfriend asked the waitress if it was watered down all she did was laugh in embarrassment. I could see she was having a hard time with another table so chose not to complain in the restaurant as I didnt want to make her shift even worse. I am therefore taking this to social media so that others dont make the same mistake. I just cannot believe the audacity to be charged almost R30 per shot that is basically water. You are ripping your customers off and not even subtly. I am not sure if you think people forgot the taste of tequila or what. But all I can say is, as someone who used to go to this Spur regularly, I think I might change my mind next time the thought crosses my head.

First time I eat spur (in take away) ... Never ate worst food in my life, for the price I should order cattle baron... One star... for the chips...

The atmosphere was indeed quite pleasant.Service was quick in fact I was quite surprised at how quickly my meal. Arrived.Even though I had a trainee, they seem to train their staff pretty well.I would most certainly recommend this restaurant.

The food was super fresh. Management was on the beat and made sure waiters were prompt. We were in a rush as we had something on in the afternoon and they really made it happen fast for us without losing quality. My wife and I had the flame grilled cheese and bacon burgers and my sons had the decorate your own waffle option. Play area is well equipped and you can watch your kids on the nearest monitor while you eat. Brilliant. One of my better Spur experiences. Its all about the management !

This Spur, has the most incredible food, service and people I have experienced out of any restaurants in South Africa. Heck, might be one of the best restaurants i have been to in the world. The consistency is incredible, and the staff are unbelievably good. I have been coming here for the past 4 years, and out of all the spurs I have been to, including the ones in Australia and Dubai, The Bayside Spur has been the best. Well done management and team! Keep it up!

Service was prompt and friendly, and I felt welcome to check my e-mails. I had a lovely, tender steak, cooked to perfection and served on a sizzling hot cast iron plate. Very nice indeed.Data network was a little slow and has a limit, so dont expect to get any real browsing or work done. This is a family restaurant, after all.

This is one of my favourite Spurs in the Western Cape. Great and friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, super tasty food. If you time the breakfast well enough, the food comes out quicker than you expect and with a smile. Highly recommend!
