I am not satisfied with the beef lasagne that I received this evening.I ordered 2 x beef lasagnes at Mimmos, Waverley.We were craving beef lasagne and couldnt wait to stuff our faces in this delicious meal.When my fiancé and I arrived at home whe heated our lasagne a bit, and when I wanted to take my first bite I smelled a sour and off smell... We paid R190 for this dinner and we are truly so disappointed 😞😞

I give this place 5/5 its just amazing. Live up to its Italian name. With great pizza and pasta and atmosphere creating Italian music. I recommend this place for all the types of families. Especially if you like milkshakes.

The new look to the old Mimmos now called Kozis is awesome. I loved the square pizza. Really tasty and well prepared. The staff was friendly and the owner filled us in that he left the mimmos franchise and embarked on a new mission he made sure we were happy and satisfied. Thanks for the great meal. The best square pizza I have ever had. Check the menu. You can order a 1 meter pizza.

Food is great. Staff friendly. Please take note of open door on Northern side. Specially at night. Terrible draft. Needless to say it took me to bed. ..now called Kozis

Very nice experience. Enjoyed the food and the service. But the vibe felt a bit off, I feel some acoustic music would give that more authentic feel, instead of pop or house music...

This restaurant has the best pizza and pasta. The have a special on their classic pizza or pasta on a Monday and Tuesday. Great place to sit down with friends or family. Has amazing sangria. A little selection of craft beer and then the normal standard drinks.

Terrible service twice in a row, the first visit there was charcoal on the food and I nearly broke my tooth. And the second time 17/10/2017 the bill was wrong and they screwed up a simple order by adding chillis to a Regina that the only extras were green peppers and garlic, I wish that I could give NO STARS

For over 22 years I have enjoyed the food at this store. They have a high standard and the staff are awesome.

Food and service was great.

First they Didnt have the ingrediants dessert we ordered, so we ordered ice-cream and hot chocolate sauce. But they brought us ice-cream and basic chocolate syrup. The ice-cream picture in the menu has melted chocolate on😲. The pizza and pasta was ok but dont order dessert here.

Generally I like the food and the ambiance, cant go wrong with South Africanised Italian food. Sometimes the kitchen is a little slow. Prices are average, not cheap but not expensive either.

Mimmos in Waverley Plaza is an old time favourite- I find it cosy, staff are friendly, food is good. Dont miss out on their Monday n Tuesday pizza n pasta specials. My favourite is their pepperoni pizza. In summer, for a light snack I enjoy sharing a foccacia together with the halloumi salad with my better half.

Normal Mimmos franchise with average food, maybe priced a little above market. The manager always enquires if you are happy or have any complaints. There is a single waiter who always assists us, even if there are always other waiters available. We support this restaurant, but not too often.

If you are hungry or in a hurry this is not the place to eat. Be prepared to wait 30-40 min for your food to arrive. During our last visit we attempted to compensate for this by ordering starters. But our starters came with our main dishes after 40 minutes. Usually the food is excellent (the absolute only reason we visit this restaurant). During our last visit the pasta was completely bland and void of any flavouring. Instead of actually tasting it the manager insisted there is nothing wrong with it. Very disappointing that bad service spoils a restaurant with (usually) great food and great potential.

Delicious food great service

Excellent italian and greek food. The owner has been with the store since its opening and any issues are promptly addressed by him. Their cuisine is freshly prepared and salads and vegetables are always crispy. Meat is tender and well aged/matured. Chicken, eisbein, steaks and T-bones are all round favourites. In the restaurant industry someone will always complain about something. Here you will hear a lot less moaning.

We waited 45mins for our take away.When asking them where it was, they just kept saying it busy in the oven.No apologies, the manager just said they are busy, so it’s going to take long.It’s pathetic. Will not go back there.
