Its a busy Spur, friendly staff, generous portions and good vibes. As always its well organized, smooth running and generally pumping on Heritage day. A good, safe place to take your kids while drinking wine and trying to forget that you had them in the first place.I still miss the salad bar and forever will but the pink sauce sort of makes up for it. OK not really but we can dream, cant we?The chips were good and the hake better than expected.Remember to tip the waiter well, preferably in cash otherwise it gets added to the pool and shared between all of them.Just tip well, Covid was especially harsh to them.

I give it 4 stars, its just a nice place and the service is not that bad

Ons of the best Spurs I have eve visited. Waiters are extremely friendly and work well as a team. Very well trained. Food is delicious, and cooked very well. Would recommend the Kickstarter breakfast. It makes you full and full of smiles.

Good Service. Not 5 star as I had Calamari which could definitely do with some improvement. But I understand that its a family restaurant that doesnt necessarily pride itself in fish, but rather steaks.

We had the the greatest birthday celebration. The food was good and the service we received from Itumeleng (Super) was the best...And the kids had fun at the play area.Wakita Spur has successfully made it to the Family favourites list.

Service was wonderful, our waitress was so friendly and on the ball with our food and drinks and the staff at the front desk had genuine interest in having a conversation with you while you waited to pay, you feel right at home there and ill definitely be there whenever im back in pta!!

Honestly, worst spur Ive ever been too in my life. Food was absolutely cold when it got to the table. Burger buns were rock hard and patties looked and tasted extremely processed. The chicken schnitzel was the smallest full portion Ive seen in my life. The service was horrible. Having to ask for more than once for new sauces then being bought back the exact same bottle and the waitress literally swearing you off as she walks away. Tables and floors dirty, had me continuously stepping on food under the table. Extremely unprofessional. This spur will never see me again.

No knife and fork to eat , no water to wash our hands before we eat. I am not coming back shame , in fact I am not longer go to spur again

Very disappointed, we had late lunch my birthday celebration yesterday with my husband and kid and we all had an upset stomach same evening after dining there, even the next day we were running to the bathroom. Had to go pick up my child from school due to stomach aches and got me worried because there is Corona out there. I have never experienced such at a restaurant especially Spur since it has always been my favorite for birthdays .

Had to go to another restaurant seeing as the service wasnt even on par for a restaurant thats not even that busy. No one checked in to make sure we are alright or if we need something. Waited for the waiter to come back but he never showed had to pay at the front desk as he was missing in action. Truly not the service we are used to. Doubt that we will go back if this is the new standard.

So I order a special, Two burgers for R120 not anywhere do they specify it is a take away only non the less we are not allowed to eat spurs food in spur.Well speechless as the Manager has no comment.
