Good service, consistent quality

Normally their chicken is good. Ordered the chicken schwarma and chicken livers and roll through uber eats. Didnt receive the roll and schwarma was so full liquid, it broke apart when I removed it from its packaging. There was only 20% chicken in it. Not gonna order that again

For the second time they gave me the wrong order. The chicken was luke warm and tasteless.

The cashier is extremely rude. He needs a lesson in customer care. Will never be coming here again. Also takes forever to get your food when there are only 2 people in the store. Extremely disappointed.

I have never seen terrible and appalling service like I observe. The front lady (bigger) is rude to customers, one customer raised concern about waiting to long for her order, she didnt even apologized but fought the customer for complaining, the customer left without her order. Every time we place an order there there is fault. Today I waited for more than 15 minutes to order only to be told they are offline to pay with credit card. This Barcelona branch must be closed. I dont want to buy there again.

Chips and veges was full of water, u bite a chip and water splashes in your mouth, chicken is small and old, cold and chips is half frozen, not recommended to anyone, please, food is a disaster.

Extremely impressed with the speed, friendliness, food and COVID protocols here - the cashier forced a few people to sanitize before they walked in. One of the better Barcelos thats every bit tasty as youd expect and great prices.

We ordered through Mr. D Food but what a disaster. Not only was the order wrong but the food was pathetic. The wraps were only 1/4 of the way filled ans the chips were hard and tasted old. Will not be ordering from them again.

Bad customer service, coming from the manager serving customers. Even being cheeky to telephone orders. Never coming here again!!!

They sent me my order and did not get it right missing items, then I try calling but the phones dont go through saying office hours is till 10pm but its not even near that time. Terrible service very disappointing. Will most definitely not recommend.

Ordered the food from a very attentive cashier. Then the wait started. Twenty minutes later one of the kitchen staff asked for my slip and brought me bag of food which was by now already cold. Its a pity as it could have otherwise been a good meal.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! Orders are always taking ages and are wrong most of the times and the service are absolutely terrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Slow. Apparently certain foods take priority over others so expect every person who order after you to get their food before you do if you order a simple chickenburger.

The service is poor, even when you call you dont get assisted, i have been trying to call them a number of times and everytime my call got cut. I bought from the one time and the food was not well prepared, my chicken was still bleeding and the one time, the chicken did not even have the sauce.I think this is me cutting the umbilical cord, pity because i used to enjoy their meals. As customers, we buy the service more that we do the product. They need to improve more on their service and really work of their sense of urgency.

The order to collect system does not work very well. 3 times now I pitch up at the store and they never got my order

Although I received great help from the cashier, the food wasnt executed to expectations, ordered a full chicken special with jumbo chips, unfortunately the skin that had all the flavour from the marinade was burnt and had to be removed, the coleslaw was not fresh, the cabbage had no crunch and the garlic roll had so little garlic butter. Chips were undercooked and not spiced. An unpleasant experience for a first time customer to your branch. I hope youll re evaluate your quality standards.

My husband ordered the family pack meal and when he got home and I was dishing up we realised there was no chips😩😩😩I phoned the call centre to get assistance I was sent from pillar to post everyone kept telling me to choose the manager option but there was no such option there was only option 1 for orders and 2 for queries.When I selected option 2 it directed me to the call centre I phoned over 4 times before I was given the cell phone numbers of the store consultants I then phoned them to tell them my issue.The lady asked me to come instore to collect I asked if they wouldnt deliver and she said they couldnt.Fuel is very expensive but we had to drive out at night to go and correct their error when we got there our chips were not ready..😭meaning we still had to wait again for them to be preparedDissapointing to say the least.

Disguting! Shop is dirty you can see the cockroaches on strolling on the walls and the food is never cooked to perfection. Twice I bought food from this place and on both occasions there was something wrong, first time it was the chips which were still raw, now is the chicken which is so red, I believe if you can do CPR on it, it will surely stand up and walk.For convenience they are close to my office, but I will NEVER buy from this place ever again.PS: dont ever make a mistake of asking for the rest room!

Been eating at this Barcelos for a few years now, but this is by far the best service that we have received. Ishmael solely mans the counter, serves sit in customers and handles phone orders and collections and does it all with a smile...A suggestion is to hire him an assistant as it sometimes gets really busy which upsets certain customers.

Bought the Ayoba meal with rice, it was supposed to have a salad or veggie. But there was non, only received meat and rice

Went to store to buy the R123.45 Special gave the Cashier R123.40 then he said he must get the 5 cent or he cant accept the order. What the hell it is not the 5 cent it the principal. Will never buy from Blu Valley Barcelos. Went to the take away next door and spend more than R123.45. Treat customers like this and your next door nabour will take your business

The schwama meal was okay but the mild peri source which normally would come with the meal had to be requested and tasted diluted

Extreme slow service. It wasnt busy but we waited more than a half an hour for a quarter chicken and salad.The cashier was friendly.Would give this place another chance, but will be sure to do it if I have nothing planned.

Its quite irritating when business change their Telephone number but dont bother updating it everywhere its listed. An alternative number is highly recommended.
