Fournos Rosebank consistently delights - great coffee, always good food and definitely my go-to-place for indulgent ice-cream treats. The combination of a sit-down restaurant (with good social distancing) and a busy bakery / deli has always worked and continues to be a strong attraction.

Smells like heaven! All the baked goods looked amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly and everything was well stocked. So happy with our chocolate croissants.

It was okay this time around. Waited longer than usual on this particular day, unlike other days. The food was fresh and delicious too. Service is important, of which I did not get much of today. Overall, definitely is an good place, but probably everyone has their not so great days.

I ordered a birthday cake for my sister and it was perfect. The presentation and taste was perfect. We all loved the cake and will definitely order again. Id recommend Fournos Rosebank any day. The standard of this restaurant drastically dropped and I do not know if it is due to Covid-19. It used to be among our favourites for breakfast but last time when we went, we found that the menu had changed. Thats ok cause it happens. My sister ordered a café latte only to find at the bottom of the glass a clothing thread and it was very thick. we complained but they still charged us full price for it. The mayonnaise had a small hair in it. The omelette was so disgusting that the first bite caused my sister not to swallow it. Even the people on the table next to ours found something disgusting in their food. We will never go back there.

Nice bakery with wonderful and fresh breakfast options. The cheese griller sausages and the mustard chicken livers deserve special mention.They also have a large variety of breads, bakes and meats to try and takeaway.Service is polite and courteous.

Used to be great but twice now they messed up our order. Cold food, bumbling waitress giving my food to another table. Sorry its a pity but we wont be back.

A lovely litthle eaterie. The smell was what attracted me. 😁 Freshly baked bread, pastries, you name it they will possibly make it. And they are not shy with their portions at all.... I had their quiche... delicious

Received the best service I have had (in the food industry) from Innocense (supervisor?manager?) and that is saying a lot. Coming from the door industry, I am very critical and often leave unimpressed, but was blown away by his amazing personality. Have not received service like this in South Africa, last time was when I was overseas in Poland and USA. He is definitely on a different level. I ordered a vegetarian wrap for breakfast and had a good laugh with him when I saw the portion size (I dont eat much for breakfast), but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my meal. The only thing I could be critical on was my Americano was a bit burnt (its hard to find decent coffee in sa). But with Excellent service from Innocense, this didnt matter.

After selecting items from the deli, to sit and eat they marked up the items by 50% without telling me and the manager refused for the original price to be accepted.Certainly not returning.

Delicious fresh croissants and a coffee to go has never been so accessible! Id highly recommend the custard filled croissant, or some fresh bread. Theres also free parking for an hour - so easy to pop in and out.

I can say that its a good place to refresh your mind

It is a nice place to have breakfast with a lot of options on the menu. The only problem was that we were in a hurry and It took 40 minutes to get our breakfast. We ordered juice, eggs and toast and musli and payed 190 rands

Well, what can I say, love this Fournos. Innocent, one the managers is a delight to deal with. Very courteous, knowledgeable and always on hand to help. A fresh assortment of pastries baked each day, with a set menu of nutritious every day meals. And great coffee! Well worth a repeat visit.

I am VERY impressed with Fournos Rosebank. The other day I had a small problem with my food. The owner was very friendly and offered me a meal on the house to make up for it. It was delicious. Innocence the manager was also great and very friendly. Best customer service I have had in a while. Friendly manager, Jana, who is very helpful and professional. I regularly go here and the service is good. Mostly enjoy their bacon & egg croissant breakfast - its great value for money. I have ordered platters for work several times and they were always really well prepared and tasty.

My favorite Fournos in the whole of Joberg. I’ve been to a few around but this is honestly the best one around. They have plenty of seating areas and it doesn’t feel crowed or claustrophobic. The food is always great and the staff are friendly for the most part. I love the chocolate croissants and my husband loves all their baked goods with custard. The bagels and chicken burger are also delicious. They have great coffee too. Highly recommend!

Very busy on Sundays. We walked in and struggled to get help. The one waiter literally ignored us when we asked for assistance. If it is your first time, be prepared for confusion in terms of seating arrangements as there is no waiter available at the entrance to guide you. Overall the food was good and the cakes were fresh. Always nice if a bit pricey, still among the best croissants in the city. Fournos offers a very wide range of delicious baked goods, their Spanakopita are to die for! Also lots of delicious handmade breads, sandwiches and confectionery to sample, nice for lunch but service is a little slow. I like the make your own sandwich bar at the Rosebank branch, ingredients seem to be fresh and the sandwich I had was tasty and quite filling. Also highly recommended is Fournos coffee, always strong and enjoyable, they couldnt have picked a better spot being surrounded by several large corporates

Service was slow in some aspects, but then management stepped in and it was excellent. The price vs portion ratio is very good. We shared an olive, feta, spinach & artichoke tramezini and it was delish!!!

The lovely smell of the coffee, the croissants and cakes are delicious. I like to buy the bread because I can choose a different one like the Italian,Portuguese or French. The atmosphere is very good. And the people that work at Fournos are very friendly.
