Went to Spur at The Glen today. I must say that I have never been a big fan of Spur.However I must say that the service I received just blew my mind. I ordered a fillet steak with baked potato. I asked for my steak to be medium to well. When I cut into it it was a bit too rare for my liking. I asked the waitress to please ask them to cook it a bit more.To my surprise the waitresses arrived with a completely new plate of food. I must say that excellent service in these trying times are hard to find. Thank you for changing my mind I will be back. 👏👏

Shocking service. Waitress never visited me during my whole meal.also,during meal,called another waiter to get a refreshment and did not arrive-had to call another waiter to assist.to pay my bill,I waited about 10 minutes for waiter to come to assist in this.

The manager Alley is a SUPER STAR and really makes you feel so welcome and I will support them and can recommend them with ease.

Staff were very friendly and the food was tasty. Ordered takeaway lamb chops and calamari rings. Asked for medium to well done and thats what i got. Outside nice and cooked but the inside was juicy and succulent

I had a problem with MrDs service, they called me and told me that spur is out of brownie, but there are other options, the lady didnt even give me time to check the other options so I said you can cancel the dessert, I called them back to swap the dessert or get my money back, the lady was so rude told me Ill get a coupon, then I told her but I want my money not a coupon then she hanged up... I was so furious I called Texamo spur in southern suburbs, the gentleman was so kind HIS NAME IS ALI, made sure I got what I needed, he couldnt track a driver but he reassured me that Ill get my order, he delivered my order himself... BEST FOOD, BEST SERVICE... thank you Ali.🙏

Im truly disappointed, my son and Ieach ordered the full portion of of chedda melt schnitzel. It was a take out order. The chicken was so tuff I couldnt cut it with a steak knife , the onion rings were so dark brown it tasted like old oil. Both our meals basically got thrown in the bin what a waste. As they were closing after our order so couldnt even return the food.

Average if not below other spurs that I have been to. The costumer services was not that great compared to Spur Mall of Africa. So far Spur Mall of Africa takes the crown 👑 for customer services and customer experience of service

Im very happy with how the Manager responded to my complaint. He took it upon himself to stand up and come to deliver my order after realizing that they gave me the incomplete order. Thank you for your prompt response. Excellent customer service to the staff as well :)

Great food. Great service.

Good service and good staff. They also have a fairly large play area for children. There are 3 seating areas. One is together with the kitchen and closest to the toilets. The other two require you to exit and cross the malls pathway. On this side you will find more kids as it has the play area. At the end you will find the smoking section with only 4 tables.

Always a pleasure to enjoy a meal at Spur steak ranches. Staff are friendly and going the extra mile to make the customer feel cared for. Always have a manager visiting the tables to ensure customers are happy with their order and the service rendered

Staff very friendly. Had a good laugh with some of them. I go there on a regular basis.. My kids love it..

It seems you guys here give preferencial service based on color. I waited a whole 10 minutes not being attended to. Waiters passed left right as if Im here for window shopping. What a horrible experience.

Music is way to loud. Spur is supposed to a family restaurant, how on earth are you supposed to have a conversation with your friends and family if you cant even hear them.

Hi everybody !I d like to share my experience with Texamo The Glen. We were celebrating our daughter birthday and we went to Texamo The Glen. We where surprised with service and attention from manager Gerald.I never find that personal connection like from Gerald . You can see He love his job. Distributing childrens toys, talking to them with love.I d like to tel Him and Spur management well done. You need manager like him. I dont want to say other they dont do job but Gerald He is something very touchy. Contact with people, not to just come to your table and ask everything is OK and that it !Go ! Gerald go !

Honestly had the best time, as a vegan spur has just impressed with their plant based menu, well throughout and surprisingly great value for money. Well done spur for keeping up with the times!

They didnt give us wipes nor water to wash our hands before we eat. The staff is not entirely reliable, we asked for wipes 3x from 3 different waiters and they kept saying Ok ill get them for you but dololo until we asked another waiter and he told us they had run out of stock. I mean why couldnt they tell us that instead of lying to us. Eventually they gave us water to wash our hands, after they had already given us food🙄😕. But the food was good, most especially their dessert- Bar one waffle - to be specific.

This all happened on the 12/12/2018. As far as the food was concerned, I had no problem. The problem came when the carer that was hired to look after the children in the play area, was too busy talking to another staff member when my granddaughter fell and got hurt. She was downstairs chatting while there were children playing upstairs. She still didnt even bother to find out how my granddaughter got hurt. She then secretly (hiding so that I couldnt see her)asked my granddaughter if she got hurt in the play area. A supervisor was called who sat with us for a while, but since this incidence, nobody has bothered to phone and find out how my granddaughter is. My contact details were taken and written in a book by the supervisor

8 months ago I reviewed store a 1. I have since changed my review. Service has definitely improved. Waiters were friendly and professional. My steak was perfectly cooked.

Hade to wait a hour for food and the some of the order is wrong and we had to ask for utensils. Not the same old Spur in The Glen we use to.

Mondays they have buy 1 get 1 burger meal free. The portions are huge and I struggled to finish mine. Taste is amazing. I think they make the best burgers in town. Took my family there for the Monday special and paid half price for the whole meal.

Ordered a daiquiri but it came with no alcohol and ordered wings with no spiceBut the spice was too much, bad service.

Service was not so goid. Waiter was in a rush, literalky throwing our drinks at the tabke and rushing off to clear other tables, didnt pay attention to who irdered what,who handed him the card when we settked the bill.

Enjoyed the steak but their spicy buffelo wings are not great.

Good food always busy. One cannot always get a seat near the smoking area as the plau area is close to that section which is reserved for parents with kids. Sometimes one have to queue in order to get a table

Spur should have handled the incident on Sunday far better than just banning one person even though he displayed physical signs of abuse versus the ladys extreme verbal abuse.The Spur decision makers have successfully divided an already struggling country even more and the repercussions of your decision is only the start.i am not taking any sides but the incident was an argument that had the potential to get very serious in which both patrons should have been asked to to contain themselves or leave the restaurant.The Management on duty that day failed all the other patrons by not immediately intervening or alternatively lacked the training on how to deal with conflict.

Had an awesome waiter for a party of 31 inclusive of kids and adults,he did an awesome job.

We visited Texano Spur on Saturday morning (31/06). The worst service ever. Our waiter dissapeared for half an hour at a time. Other waiters were just standing around ignoring us. When we eventually ordered and requested the kids food first the adults food arrived first. The kids food were cold. Our coffee and cappuccinos were cold. My cream did not even melt mine was so cold. I am not a big spur fan because of bad service , and we only went for the kids to play but this was the last straw.I am sure you dont really care because you have enough customers but as far as I am concerned....Goodbye Spur!!!!

Our waitress was Sandra. We were there for breakfast on Wednesday the 09th August 2017. We received helpful and pleasant service from her. Not to mention the breakfast was lovely.

Terrible service I once experienced. It was so horrible to the extent that I told mtself i will never set foot in a Spur restaurant because of the daunting service I got.Its a fear that will forever live with me!!!Long story short, I had to literally wait for a waiter to serve me for 1+Hr.If you people can just fix your *Ops* Im sure youll save a life!!!

One of the better Spurs out there. I have eaten here many times. I have been let down once or twice with food arriving cold or not everything I ordered arriving; but these are usually caused by trainee staff.

I am very saddened at the way the staff handled the gentleman that was seen making physical threats against a woman and her children. The police should have been called and he should have been removed from the premises, if not banned forever. He also attempted to turn over the table. How is this acceptable? I will not be visiting this establishment and encourage other patrons not to spend their money there either.
