Wow after being around for a while finally tried Izzyburger and what a tasty experience, they have definitely lived up to the hype since they opened, good quality beef and tasty chips

Whenever I hear the word burger, Izzy Burger is what comes to mind. As Im writing this review, my mouth is watering just thinking about how delicious this burger was.We bought the single Izzy burger special (×2 for R100), an Izzy double and an Izzy triple. The burgers are made in-house right before your eyes.A single patty is served with a side of medium cut chips, basting sauce and a honey mustard sauce. The best part? The burger! The burger is moist, juicy and succulent; as soon as you bite into it, the juice oozes out of the burger and drips tauntingly down your fingers. This is one of the best burgers Ive eaten. Hands down.P. S: can you hire me as a quality controller 😊

Izzy Burgers are fantastic, yummy and tasty. The menu packs lots of options available. They get busy though and you may find yourself having to go for a takeaway instead!Izzy is clean and staff are friendly, overall good experience 😊

Best burger in Cape Town.All other burger joints ESPECIALLY the large franchise ones doesnt compete with the Izzy Burger!! In a League of its Own. Dont take my word for it...Go get one; but be warned, very long waiting tines due to popularity. Order I advance or Uber Eats.

Got a chicken burger and chips from them on a Saturday night. Good burger and chips. They were able to operate fully despite load-shedding which was nice !

Gotta say I really enjoy their burgers. The beef or chicken is grilled so perfectly and then basted in this amazing mouthwatering sauce. It just works. I always grab the Izzy Long when I go.

200g Pattys are nice, the 100g party used on the izzy long tasted different. Id recommend izzy single and double. Tried the chicken buttermilk burger too tastes okay but their sauce is abit different to other stores so dont expect the same taste of the kimchi mayo cause theirs are slightly different

Was really looking forward to trying out The Izzy Burger. I tried The Stack (3 x 100g beef patties, excellent price). The burger looked great and the garnish was lovely and fresh, but the barbecue basting proved to be overwhelmingly salty, so much so that I could hardly taste the toppings of pastrami and cheese or the patty itself.

The best burger I ever tasted!!! Theres is no better. I had Izzy burger a couple of times and there service are always excellent and food is amazing. Always perfect just the way I like it. Very happy customer indeed!

Food tastes good and is prepared fresh daily. Good value for money. The staff however are not friendly. Especially the cashier & front of house guy where you collect your order. They are always so miserable. Take away option is preferred as there is no comfortable seating inside

Outstanding quality of food and great customer service. Their burgers are amazing and orders are prepared on time. It is pricier than some chain restaurants but the food is definitely worth it. Be sure to make use of their specials to get even more for your buck. It was truly money well spent.

Passing by we came across this gem of a takeaway. It is usually very difficult to find a burger joint that has good chicken burgers but this place was really good. The fresh beef pattie was moist and full of flavour. I will be back

Tried Izzy’s burgers for the first time on Friday night. Was a bit put off by the 30min wait on dark, dodgy Ottery Road. Both hubby & I had low expectations when we were handed 2 brown paper bags like sad school lunches. BUT one bite into those burgers & we were blown away... the juiciest, tastiest, yummiest burgers ever! Hands down the best burger in Cape Town (& we have tried a lot of burgers from Blouberg to Simonstown!).

The Izzy long is by far my favorite, perhaps without the fresh green chilli.The southern fried chicken burger is a must try too. They get quite busy over the weekends; fetching through on their line takes a while and also waiting for food can have a slight delay! But it’s with the wait definitely. Best burger in Cape Town!

Steep price for Avo.The waiting times are too long, even if you order via telephone. 14:45 order, was told to collect at 15:15, only ready at 15:30, on multiple occasions.Service is average, not big on apologising or accomodating. Usually order 15-20 burgers for office weekend work and provided with a box to help me carry. On one occasion i ordered 8, and thes refused go help me out with a box to carry. Keeping the box for larger orders

I cannot begin to express how good this places burgers are. Been buying from the Goodwood branch and loving every bite. This place reminds me of what steers use to taste like in the 90s, but better. And to top it off, they are really reasonably priced. Fed 4 people for R300 from this place. The quality of the food is really beyond good. And they are Halaal. Much respect to the Goodwood branch for always getting my order right when I ask for specifics on my burger such as , no tomatoe, extra chilli and avocado. Their fries are also really good and well spiced and they give a good portion.Burger: 5/5Fries : 4/5Service : 5/5Waiting Time : 3/5 (understandable, quality takes time, worth the wait)

Without a doubt one of the best burgers to be had. Basic burger and chips at R65. Bit pricey but I guess you pay for quality. The waiting period could be an issue though on a popular night. Parking in the busy Ottery Road could be tricky. However, the side roads around the shop offer space to park your ride. The simple menu inside the shop offers a few different burger meals. Youre bound to find something you like. Go on, give it a try. I know you want to!!!
