Best experience ever at spur sea point. loved their food. can really recommend everyone to go try the starters, the wigs was so good that I had to other plate and the steak oh my God , I cant explain enough

Awesome Breakfast good service as well from our waitor. To the lady who led us to our table and sanitised our area before we sat was very pleasant and friendly. A special thank you to the guys who was willing to make us breakfast as they were almost close for breakfast already.We rode all the way from Ottery to sea point just for your breakfast but got there at11 o clock.Thank you so much .

My First time at this Branch of Spur & I was extremely impressed by the service of the staff and the food was excellent our waitress was very friendly & attentive to our requests I would definitely visit that Branch of Spur again also requesting for the same waitress namely Blessing.

Was in Cape Town from the 4th to the 9 Oct for school holidays. My son Kgalema loved the play room so much. The staff was so friendly as well. We definitely coming again soon.

Everyone was soo friendly, even a waiter who is not serving you can smile at you and greet you, and ask you if you are having a good time! Great reception, I hv never seen that anywhere else..... 6star!

Bit of a flop at the beginning when the waitress didnt collect the food from the pass and it went cold and my steak on the hot skillet went well done and dry, but the manager skirted it out and we received fresh food very quickly. Food was good, hot and fresh. Good save

Very nice setting, staff are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, very nice portion and well cooked. They dont charge corkage, so I always enjoy bring in a nice bottle of wine to go with my food and then tip the waitress/waiter a bit extra. There is television for the big sports games and a really nice area for the kids to play, which is managed by the Spur staff. All in all I had a lovely evening and their specials are a bargain, thanks Spur.

Decent place for a hearty breakfast. Plus its very close to the Seapoint Promenade. I enjoyed the chips that came with the Trailblazer meal and the orange juice was lekker.On the flip side, the service was a bit slow. Restaurant was hardly half full but it took ages for our food to be served

This is one of the best Spur restaurants that Ive been to in Sea Point. Walked out of V&A Waterfront Spur due to bad service and came to this Spur. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a very nice relaxing atmosphere and gives a actual family restaurant feeling. Food is well prepared and tasted fantastic and looked just as appetizing. Really a all round good food experience.

Good food and nice staff. Can be a little bit busy. Very nice kids area but be careful because the entrance door is very close to the kids area so the babies can run out. The staff try to stop them by the way but you never know.There is a nice table from which you can see the whole kids area so if you have small babies book that one.There are monitors from which you can check your kids from almost anywhere.

This may be a household brand in SA, but on both occasions I visited the Spur in Seapoint, I walked out disgruntled. Firstly a serving of, what seemed to be, 3-day old soggy french fries, duly acknowledged by the manager in attendance, and recently, pathetic service from a waiter - again a manager in agreement. Two visits, two problems - draw your own conclusions.

I was delighted to dine at the seven Spur steak Ranch last week Sunday with my fiance and our Friend from Saudi . Our waitress Nomzamo was wonderful friendly and a absolute delight. She went out of her way to go above and beyond it was his 24th Birthday the day before but knowing how amazing spur is on a birthday we wanted our friend to experience something so uniquely Traditional South African Spur . She made it happen. Thank you very much ! Excellent food too i really enjoyed everythingi ordered.

Staff are more concerned about food delivery to hotel than the customers sitting in the restaurant.They do deliver a good birthday song!

Why do all the servers look so grumpy and never friendly? And how come the food is this small portion and even with no proper plating at all? And our table was filthy and I didnt wanted to be seated. Hopefully your staffs learn how to treat and serve customers and professionally next time.

The atmosphere and location is beautiful, safe parking. Food was ok, the milkshakes were so way too sweet. The kids playroom is not ventilated properly.. It was so hot inside and and there are way too many kids in there at once. I feel that the play area should be for kids up to age 6 because my 3 year old got knocked around as some older kids were so wild. This is a issue for all spurs in general. Why cant spur have a separate section for older kids? Like with video games etc? . But one cannot have 10 year Olds jumping on a bounce castle with toddlers its ridiculous.

Waited for a waiter 45 mins before we ordered food, ended up leaving the restaurant without making order or get any service.

Horrible... Place is virtually empty and waited close to 45min for our food... When food arrived it was cold and staff very uncoordinated... Just a horrible experience overall but it is worth mentioning that they were understaffed and did bring the matter to the manager on dutys attention and got a complementary burger 🍔

When I say, delicious. It may be an understatement. I think it was by far the best steak I’ve ever had. I ordered the 300g fillet. It had like a bbq glaze with the ultimate finish for me. I ordered the mushroom sauce but really didn’t need it. The cream spinach was okay. I’m use to it being creamier. The butternut squash was excellent. I had some passion fruit drink that the waiter recommended. It was really good as well. Then I finished off with dessert. I had the half Malva pudding. It was good but really sweet. I am a sweet lover and if I say it’s sweet, it’s sweet. This review would not be complete if I didn’t mention my waiter, Hiltone. He guided thru the menu and made recommendations. Everything he recommended was great. He did tell me that the Malva was sweet before I ordered it but sometimes I like to be a daredevil. The entire experience from start to finish was top notch. I will be back before leaving the area.

Ordered myself a 300g New York Sirloin steak(MEDIUM)- takeaway.....I SWEAR MY STEAK WAS STILL ALIVE, BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER SEEN A PIECE OF STEAK THAT RAW IN MY LIFE, its absolutely ridiculous....I had to heat up my stove and put the steak in the pan to bring it to Medium before I could actually eat. Im no steak expert, but I can definitely make a better steak than that!! What a Waste of Money.

Saturday 27/02/2021 - Service was horrific. Waited outside +-15 minutes for a table. (Counted about 5 tables which were not cleaned, with dirty dishes not taken to the kitchen yet). Upon being seat at 19:25, our order was only taken at 19:42. Our order arrived at 20:10 - Both my partner and I received crumbs for fries! These tiny, bottom of the batch chippies! The cheese on my Hawaiian schnitzel looked as if it had been through everything in life. Instead of receiving proper cutting knives, I received 3 butter knives! The couple across from us also order at about 19:45 and received their order at 20:30!!! And it was just steak! The steak was not even well done as per the patrons request! It was sent back to the kitchen, well my partner and I had left shortly after we had eaten, but you guessed it, the poor ladys steak was still not back from the kitchen to be cooked properly!. Let me not get started about the couple, whom we found at their table when we arrived, who also only received their food at about 20:20. This spur will never see me again. Oh and the aircons! Uhmm, I have no idea what the hell that is, but we were sweating!I almost forgot to mention the gentleman we found at the door upon our arrival who had been waiting for about 50 minutes for his takeaway order!Horrible!!!!!!!

Owner or management can implement better covid 19 regulations. People were sitting to close to on another. And outside area can be improved by keeping it constantly clean and tidy (regardless of the weather patters). Also, customer service was good but needs assistance (busy with too many tables at a time).

Food was good, however it seems my wifes baked potatoes were not baked, it rather looked like it had been boiled or microwaved.. the top was completely soft, not like a potatoes that had been baked .. strange indeed, we complained to the manager who said he would in estimate ..

Despite the challenges of lockdown the staff here were extremely friendly and welcoming.Our order was on the table quickly and the food was tasty and warm.Our table was sanitized right in front of us, and tables are kept open between guests in line with distancing rules.This outlet is run professionally, it was a pleasure visiting.
