06/08/21Came into McDonalds with my sister to get some nuggets and fries - left with a terrible experience! Staff were unfriendly and really made you feel as if you being there was a huge problem for them. No greetings, nothing. There were only 5 other customers, yet we waited almost 20 minutes to get our food. Watched as they cooked our food with zero gloves, touching the food with their hands might I add... covid or no covid, I dont want other peoples hands touching my food? Ive just watched you touch money and now youre touching my food? Thats disgusting.Once I had received my food, I tasted a chip (my standard procedure to make sure that the chips are fresh) and the chips were cold and hard, as if they hadnt been cooked at all. Waited another 5 minutes for someone to even help me, and when they did, she was complaining that she even had to do it!My sister asked for extra ice in her drink - again, complaining that she had to help!I understand that the service industry can be difficult and days are long - Ive been there. But this was really disappointing, especially when Im paying R100 for a meal. I dont recommend.

Food was, as expected, very good, but i felt the staff behind the counter were a bit non fussed with regards to serving customers

The restaurant was empty due to it being quite early.The food was fresh and the coffee good.Pop in when youre at the V & A Waterfront.

We ordered the new smokey burger. It was tasteless.. my kids cheese burgers had no cheese. The chips had no salt at all. I ordered no ice in my drinks but yet it came with ice. Only ten people were allowed to sit down with many open spaces buy the queue to get to the cashier had no social distance at all. The staff just squeezes past you without saying anything. If my kids werent nagging for mcds I wouldve left. And not to forget they didnt have chillie cheese fries

Had to buy everything separately because the meals werent available. None of the staff were wearing gloves. I was watching them touch the chips and the trays that the food went on. That was unacceptable, covid or no covid. My sisters fries were cold and hard. I ordered extra ice, got no ice. Had to ask for ice & it was like a problem to get it. Same with the chips being replaced. Didnt get sauce with my nuggets. All round terrible experience.

Love the food and the service, especially the self help machines where the customers can order and pay without a cashier

Ordered on app, spicy cajun meal with a drink, however only to find out that had to pay additional, as they only had milk shake in stock

Service is impeccable. Strict covid protocols in place which made me feel very safe.

Me and my friends were chilling there,it was nice they let me eat my steers there and we had super big drinks😂 only complain is that we had to pee after that😂

McDonalds is the same anywhere. Consistency is what it is. Nothing better than a cheese burger.

Fairly clean and same price as the rest of the country. What else can I say, its a standard McDonalds in a really good location.

Ordered a burger which was given to us with fries and a milkshake. The burger patty meat was scraped from what was left over, fries were burnt and salty. Vanilla milkshake was extremely watery and had no flavor at all. To come to Cape Town for a holiday and to experience such food from McDonalds is disappointing.

McDonalds Waterfront - Our experience of this place has been both good and bad. Generally the coffees are served way too hot, and some of the staff dont seem to know what they are doing. There was one lady a while back who was so good at making drinks and so friendly, but once she left, we havent enjoyed many drinks there since. So for this aspect we wouldnt give many stars.However, the last time we went, I have one major COMPLIMENT - the gentleman managing the restaurant floor - CLARK (I think his name is Clark Daniels)He was assisting everyone, checking up on everyone, keeping counters clean, helping customers with the self service machines, checking up on staff, ..... He was alert, hands on and on top of things.He was walking around, keeping busy, and doing things himself instead of just standing around half asleep and telling others what to do, like Ive seen so often elsewhere.He was very friendly and welcoming. I was very pleasantly surprised.So for CLARK wed give 5 STARS! :)And we like the self service machines :)

The service is fast, the staff is efficient. Loved it but the food is still McDonalds so.

Its really small for the amount of people that go through it every day, so it might take a few minutes to pay for your food ... But the service is good

McDonalds waterfront is not a nice place to eat. People if you can avoid McDonalds waterfront do so. After 8 they dont serve cuppicino in a cup they serve it in a paper cup because they to lazy to wash the cup after customers is done. And they clean and sweeping while you still eating . Surpport other eat place do yourself a favour dont support them. Olwethu the supervisor is also with her staff. We waited half an hour for her to complain and she just give us one look. If you can dont support them.

Its a McDs... the waterfront is really nice, so accessible to cheap food is a bonus

Horrible service, waited almost 25minutes for a damn boerie burger at 9:20 on a bloody Wednesday morning then still had staff with attitude towards me. Also, why must they scream to one another and they are standing side by side ?

Staff seemed lost and confused except for one member. Slow to take orders and execute them.Food took longer than 30 minutes to be made and when it was ready, it was not brought to the table. Instead the food was forgotten behind the counter.Food was normal McDonalds standard but lacked salt on the fries.

Worst experience ever went in 20 minutes before closing the sales lady was helpful and took our order. The kitchen staff then cam out shouting and saying they dont have beef and cant fulfill the order. The sales lady tried to convince them but they refused. We asked for the manager and were told there is no manager.

Over crowded.very hectic kitchen in a crowded confinement.but they do produce good food.customers are too selfish.in contrast,a woman from Arabia,in a burka saw my reluctance to stay, and secretly bought me 5 meals .all paid ,I just collect as and when.this my manager of the Day

I would like to say zero stars. Worst service EVER! NO service skills. Team members seem to be working to a pace of their own with no regard to McDonalds standards. Basic logic of service level not being adhered too. Gentleman in front of me ordered a large OJ and waited 20mins with me and got his OJ just before my order was ready. His shouldve been in and out as soon as he paid his bill. This team needs a lesson from McDonalds TYGERVALLEY.

Breakfast service is super slow. Employee attitudes are terrible.

If I could I would give this place Zero stars. It’s the vision of Hell on Earth. They cannot cope with large amounts of people at once and I waited 20 minutes. Yes. 20 minutes for a simple happy meal. Pathetic!! Avoid this place like the plague !

Screw this McDonalds, filled with lazy, idiot employees. I order an orange juice and it was not full, as the machine has run out of juice. So I asked for more, and they simply shrugged their shoulders. I despise laziness but what else can you expect from the entitles, rude workers in this branch. Also, it is a filthy, dirty McDonalds.
