Great service. Stop over on your way on the R27 for a well deserved break and support them. They food is excellent and the pies are amazing. The best I have tasted and you will definitely go back for more. The people are friendly and you can even take your doggie with you.Wanna get some plants while you there they have it. Or a bottle of brandy or vodka they have that too. Some momentos for family and friends, you can get it here too.Overall you will enjoy the stop and it will do the so good.
Great stop. Offers everything farm stall related. Renowned for their pies. On busy days service is slow, but hey! if you on the West Coast you can relax.
Great burgers chicken/salad & Beef/chips - worth the wait. Generous portion, tasty salad but too small. Excellent bakery. Staff are friendly & helpful, especially Pamela...
Enjoyed the food and peacefulness there. Lots of nice things to buy as gifts .
Lovely stall with so many interesting products . Lovely breakfast. Very good prices
Nice things to see, but to say the pies 🥧are the best in South Africa is far fetched. But worthwhile to stop for a break.
Nice setting outside, lovely food. Really enjoyed the animals.
Hi there ita a lovely place, good food, good prices and friendly staff definitely go back there
Well done guys. Wow...keep it up. Huge Angus burger with chips. Definitely worth it. Portion size vs price 👍 Waitress neatly dressed, well-spoken and presentable. Also great idea with the waiters all carrying electronic tablets to accuratly and correctly take orders.Keep it up guys! Another WestCoast success story.
I love all the birds at the back and the freshly baked breads and pies.
Always a pleasure to stop at this farm stall. Delicious food. Clean toilets. Like a petrol station for humans with the promise of a beautiful day on the West Coast ahead of you
Enjoyed a light lunch. Children loved the play area and the birds. Outdoor tables need to be updated.
I was very excited to see vegatarian burger in the menu 😋 but didnt enjoy 😑 the hamburger patty. My husband also tried it and also didnt like it. Thanks for trying. 🙂😉
Stunning food, friendly staff and beautiful birds outside
Great playground for kids as well as good food and wine. Plants for sale along with baked goods that were very tasty. Lots of outdoor seating and close to Tinie Versfeld Wild Flower Reserve!
Great preserves and many other things! You have to try their homebaked pies and breads! Delicious!
I was enroute somewhere nearby, but needed a place to log into a few virtual meetings and finish up some work. What an absolutely accommodating place this is. They (mostly the tannie)set me up with good wifi and a separate quiet room. Kids and mom enjoyed a nice breakfast and the kiddies activities they have on offer. It’s a pity there isn’t an option for more stars. A real pleasant surprise! Very much recommended!
Very unfriendly staff, animal encosures not maintained and the pies werent all its cracked up to be.
Had lunch very tasty and good. They also have a good bakery. Lots for kiddies to see and do
Very cute. My only criticism is that the restraunt charged R65 for chips and a pie! The pie is R25 on its own... R40 FOR CHIPS?! What a rip off!
Nice stop over for a breakfast if youre heading up the west coast or a lunch on your way back home to Cape town. Kid friendly with a play area. Good service and well priced
The first thing I always look for is whether the place was clean and tidy and it definitely was, and a very relaxed atmosphere as well. It has a shop that comprises of a little bit of this and that, a play area outside for the kids and a nursery. I had the beef burger and chips and the chips was just the way I like it, crunch and golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The beef patty itself was a little disappointing since it was very dry but luckily all the trimming and bacon saved the day and I enjoyed the meal overall. It looks like a good place to pop in after the long drive from Cape Town for a cup of tea and cake or just to stretch your legs. Wont hesitate to stop there agian.
Really great selection of foods, snacks, drinks and knick-knacks. It is a little pricey, but that is to be expected with more of a touristy shop. Many items are made fresh and you can see them being prepared through windows into thr kitchen. Good selection of wine and Darling beer if you need to pick up supplies without leaving the highway. Give it a try!
Unexpected ! A padstal with far more. Beyond the usual dried fruit and nuts, jams and rusks for sale you’ll find wool and colourful material for sale. The inside eating area has an inviting feeling of being able to sit and relax and enjoy choice eats for their menu. We didn’t stay to eat. Then moving through to the outside court yard area, which is large, with many interesting wood carvings well done of the big five. You cannot miss the many cages of birds from all over the world. They apparently run a rehabilitation for birds, so that mitigates the initial concern one may have at birds in cages. You decide. Definitely worth a stop-over.
There is nothing missing from this beautiful place. The food was really good and worth every cent, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. Amazing statues and wood sculptures that portray a circle of life in the wild. Theres endless amounts of the most colourful birds (Im pretty sure the one was flirting with my wife). My daughter was enjoying the jungle gyms while I was playing giant chess with my son (ended in a tie). We ended up staying much longer than expected and I have no doubt that we will be back there very soon with a few friends.
The smell of freshly baked bread welcomed us and we could not resist.
Nice shop, bought a few things and some pies. Im a stickler for a good pie and although these were not bad they were not the best in the west..too much pastry, too much sauce/paste. Make them a little smaller so the actual filling can be enjoyed because the flavours are great!!
Absolutely gorgeous place ,pies are definitely the best and dont forget the Hertzoggies, really worth to stop there❤️
Really good pies and cakes. Enjoyable experience.Great service.
A hidden gem. No frills just homely and comfortable, no pretences. Interesting Nursery at the back with birds, rabbits and large pigs. Probably not everyones cup of tea but what a find!
A nice place with friendly service from the staff. But not so nice to sit outside if you are a non-smoker, as the smokers sit all around you.
Food is really good. A gem between CT and West Coast National Park
Unique and beautiful setting. Definitely a new experience. The bokkoms and the apple pie were wonderful.
Great farm style breakfast. Loved the skilpadjies
Great farmstall. The entrance declares they have the best pies in South Africa. Theyre right!
We love this place ... on our doorstepBreakfast ... lunch ... all the extra stepStaff amazing
Good chicken pie and excelent service..Will always stop there for my next eat.
Lovely little farm stall. Has live music on Sundays and a spacious restaurant set up. Lovely little goodies to purchase as well.
When walking in u can feel the freindlyness. Always greeting u with a smile.
Nice didnt eat but just visit store.
Loved the atmosphere, the vibe, the outdoor eatery setting and especially the giant chessboard.
Been here several times. Nice selection of country foods and tourist novelties. Last visit was dismal, seemed they could not cope with the volume.
A very delicious meal. Service great
Despite Covid regulations, take away food and coffee was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Always was and still is a great stop over
Typical farm stall, lovely fresh baked breads, pastries and preserves.
Food is worth the money. I ordered an apple crumble tart and it was fantastic. Bread also like my mom use to make it. Friendly service.
Friendly staff, freshly baked croissants and farm style bread from the oven. Delicious..
A bit overpriced on all merchandise. Good offering
Was an interesting stop along our way, kids enjoyed the activities, and the amazing birds!
Could do with better management but otherwise very good.
Great coffe and highly enjoyable granidella cheese cake.Sat outside which is highly recommended
On our journey to Langebaan we stopped off at the West Coast Farm Stall for some breakfast and a look around, OH WOW what an beautiful padstal, the food was outstanding, my homemade slice of toast was the size of the plate. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, i sure will be coming back here.*sagirlovestotravel
I enjoyed the apple crumble and coffee and lots of entertainment for the kids
The food was great but they got my order wrong. The chips was great, like in real good.
Cashier extremely helpful. Generally their saleable items very expensive
A place to visit.. Not too expensive.. A place where we could afford to buy a few goodies😂....
Loved this little Farm Stall! Family friendly with ample space for children to play. Live music as well. The menu is well rounded. I would recommend their breakfast.
Nice food, nice and friendly people.
Very cool farmstall. Best pie I have had in a long time. Fresh products, nice sit down eatery and good wine selection.
Nice placeExpected a little more items to be for sale
It is really a great venue, which we visited on several occasions and a joy to take your family there. We are from the West Coast area and it is our usual stop for a breakfast but your waters seems to own the place and decide how to treat customers. The short lady with the frizzy hair served us on Mon, 22 Mar 21 and it was a real disappointment, it seemed like we werent welcome there and felt like outcast. She never opened her mouth once with anyone to acknowledge orders or she would serve us by just placg stuff on the table but Im very cautious to mention
We spent a lovely Sunday afternoon listening to a love singer and excellent lunch time meal, at a fair price. What a jewel found while driving the road... 💗💗
Most amazing food and farm style biscuits, jams, konfyt.
Awesome place to stop over, not your typical farmstall, has a lot more to offer..
Staff was friendly. Food was well prepared and presented. Not too pricey either. Great experience.
Lovely staff. Great location and fantastic mosbolletjies!
Lovely rustic farmstore, rich in old Afrikaner tradition foods, excellent range of Jams and farm style breads. Broad range of Parakeet and a lovely restaurant .
Great food always
Friendly service, nice products. Farm stall not to miss...
Best buffet breakfast in Yzerfontein. Nice relaxing atmosphere.
