Look I like McDonalds as much as the next guy and this Outlet is no exception ... Food is pricey but nice but the staff here needs some serious attention ... unless you are fluent in Xhosa your order will not be without hassle!! I only go here when my girlfriend absolutely insists or when KFC IS full or closed !! Buck up on your staffs receptiveness and customer service please !!!

This is a review of the for the worst ever in my life take away meal ever. The burger I received didnt even have the bottom half of the bun, the pattie was burned and no cheese or dressing on the burger.I literally threw the food the dustbin because I wouldnt give that food to my dog to eat.... I am absolutely disgusted with this dish from McDonalds, that is a world renowned company.

Terrible experience at drive-thru. No one available to take order at front of queue. Sat in queue for 20 minutes. Got to second window and cashier refused to take order saying we had to go to the back to the queue as we had not placed order at the beginning. Told her no one was available when I was there but she refused to accept this telling me I was lying. She continued to argue with me saying the woman was there and I just didnt place my order. Never heard anything more ridiculous. Very very rudeand unhelpdul

A week ago I was amazed at the friendliness especially being on holiday far from home kind faces make a huge difference.... today however I was yelled at by the manager cz my order was to long and even then my order was totally wrong even shorting a full meal

I have lived in the strand for a long time and have supported McDonalds Stand since it opened, buy have noticed that the amount of fries they give is becoming less and less. Just got home and opened the bag to see that the amount of fries in the regular meal is the same amouny you would get with a happy meal. Wish i could post a photo.

Very disappointed. Bought two double quarter pounders with cheese there today. Not only was the chips old but the burgers were terrible. Both had little to no garnish on and patties were very dry (tasted and was like rubber). Will never buy anything from them again and will recommend others stay away

Last night we went to our favorite place Mc D as always order the same thing, but there was no service the lady didnt make eye contact even when the food was ready, the lady behind me asked for tomato sauce she worked over me gave it to the lady and just said THERES THE STRAWS........ To top it off 🤬🤬🤬 I mean you so hungry only to find out that when we got home the order wasnt fully completed, I ordered x2 big macs it only came with 1 little box of chips and not 2. You guys werent that busy......

Love the improvements on the building itself. Service is fast and quick. Could definitely get some more help with live entertainment or video coverage with media partners like Helderberg Happening in the area.

I have been coming to this mc Donalds for years and tonight i went to buy some dinner. Came home and began to eat the food and the fries were so dry, unsalted, and you could taste that it had been fried in oil that is VERY old. When i took my first sip of my vanilla shake, it was sour milk with brownish lumps that came through the straw. I tried calling them about 5 times with no answer... sad to say I am very disappointed.

I got a quarter pounder and when i got it was terrible !! Literally such a small bun with two huge patties shoved in little to no garnish !! Felt like i was eating cardboard and chewy meat. The patties also seemed old and tough.Couldnt finish the meal, waste of money dont order on Uber Eats from this McDonalds, please safe yourself !

Quick friendly service in drive through... Got to watch out though not to neglect the walk in customers, they are in the same hurry as the drive through customers and dont have to wait because of drive through facility

Best McDonalds that I visited so far. It was extremely busy the Friday night, but they cope so well, it was a steady flow with vehicles on the drive thru, food quality and service excellent

Good quick and easy, early in the morning

The past 4 times we have been our orders have been incorrect. Missing chips, missing hash brown, wrong juice it goes on. This morning I had a whole egg shell in my egg Mc muffin. Disgusting!!!!! Burgers are always thrown together with no thought. Definitely wont be back to this branch. You might have redone the building, but the service has never been worse!!!

Drive through experience is good, if its busy, there is normally a staff outside taking orders - speeds things up a bit.

Noticed when I got home they didnt add spicy sauce to my burger. Had to go back for my spicy sauce eventhough I asked for I when I ordered. Wasted a lot of time.

We waited 28 minutes for two take away Cappuccinos, because the restaurant did not have milk and was waiting for the delivery to arrive.The attitude of the staff was appalling, making snide remarks in their language, which by chance we caught.I would definitely go out of my way not to go in there again.

Pointless going through the drive through when you have to wait on your food

First time ordering on UberEats- such a disappointment from McDonalds Strand. Ordered Two Big Mac Meals plus McNuggets for my son. Driver delivered the food, only to realise when I opened No Nuggets- huge disappointment for my son who was looking forward to it. When I called the restaurant- there was no answer and I tried about 10 times.

Great service, Alot of staff.But,I ordered a triple chilli cheese chicken burger.- My burger patties were very hard.- I had to remove 2 of the patties and eat it on its own.-My burger itself was extremely dry. Especially if you have in a triple chilli cheese burger. You would think of something flavourful.It really wasnt. It was dry, barely had lettuce on (maybe a teaspoons amount) and alittle cheese sauce with three small saucer size rock hard burger patties.A big bun. With three tiny small burger patties.I was honestly very excited for my meal because I love jalapeños but it was really no good.

Today was the second time in less than a week where I ordered 2 cheeseburgers from the drive-thru and one of the burgers didnt have a patty on, only the cheese and tomato sauce. I did not request a special order, both cheeseburger where suppose to have all the ingredients on them. So who is eating my missing patties? Very disappointed, I used to love grabbing a quick bite from this McDonalds.

Since the renovations, the service has been even worse than before. I waited 15min to order and then another nearly 40min JUST for a Big Mac Meal. The person that was behind me ordered a couple McFlurries and waited just as long as me. This is unacceptable!

My go to Mac Donalds in the area, always have friendly and helpful staff. And the food comes quick, which is all that matters.

Was there last night(28 March round 9pm). So many staff on duty and so many sitting outside the shop but we had to wait almost 10mins to be assisted and we had to call someone to help us. The phone rang and no one bothered to answer it....was very irritating.
