The best customer service ever, no matter who you are or how you look. Very seldom does one find staff who will GENUINELY ask you if everything is fine and if one needs any assistance. All other businesses should take a feather out of their cap.

Ummm so its great for McDonalds but even the best McDonalds on the planet should be capped at a 1 star rating. Honestly, I feel like if i give more than 1 star I would pretty much be failing at life. But hell, keep up the good work McDonalds, myself, my gym and Im sure the pharmaceutical companies Ill end up relying on, really appreciate all the delicious goodies that clown keeps microwaving in the kitchen.

A go to space whenever I need to grab a quick snack.Very spacious which makes one feel comfortable during the global pandemic.I always order the two cheese burger meal, for someone constantly on the move, the chips and first burger makes on nicely full enough to get on with your day and the second burger comes in handy when just needing to snack during the day.

The staff is friendly, quick and helpfull. Drive thru is clean and litter free. Inside is also kept clean and neat.Keep up the great work all staff from McDonalds N1 City.

Coffee is always hot and food is on point.Funny enough, I think this is the one maccy that hasnt gotten any of my orders wrong so far. Albeit that I havent visited that much.We tend to have alot of our car meetup groups here and it always works out great.

Usually this establishment is usually very good. However, these days it serves stale bringer patties and very old chips. Really disappointed, the only good McDonalds in East London has now become bad.

Service is always great and the ice cream machine aways works.

Very dirty inside and seats and tables are not being cleaned. Toileta are extremely dirty and no Toilet paper. Toilet door cant even lock for privacy. Standards have dropped so badly.

I dont think Ill ever visit this McDonalds again... Yesterday I went in and bought my Lady a chocolate milkshake and it was terrible... It was just vanilla ice cream with a little bit of oreo... I asked the lady if shes sure that it was a Chocolate milkshake and she gave me a confident yes. The product look nothing like the advert.

Lousy service levels. Personnel is really not customer friendly. Waiting too long for just 2 coffees. Please appoint coloured people on your staff. We are in the Cape - why is there only black people on your staff. And they cannot speak proper english and can understand english. They are from a different culture which does support McDonalds. They do not eat McDonalds. Why should they work at McDonalds ?

Ridiculously full. Always. Great for business yes, but I parked got out, ordered inside and left before the car in front of me was done at the drive through.

I am so tired of McDonalds N1 city. I have now ordered for the 3rd time via uber eats and left special instructions to not leave any of my items out. What happened? Once again the packaging is sealed and items are not there. I have complained and complained to no avail. You are stealing people money. I am disgusted how you can do this. I will post all over all media places until your manager contact me and fix this. Its disgusting.

This branch of McDonalds is OK.. Very clean and clearly marked off.. Toilets are in good condition.. Staff needs communication skills.. Sorry guys... Slow down when taking an order.. The client will spend more that way

Service & meal was good as always. What left me a bit perturbed was the fact that after I paid, I was given a clipboard with a supposed screening page requiring me to complete my personal info. At no stage was I screened by anyone. Yes, theres sanitiser at the door, (& I used it) but that is it. Only after I questioned this process & screening details did they take out a thermometer from under the counter to take my temp. Last I checked, taking temperatures are part of the screening process. Youre dropping the Covid-ball guys...

I went to buy a Chocolate Oreo Shake and when it was handed to me it looked and tasted like vanilla. My boyfriend took the shake with the slip and asked the cashier to correct the order. She gave us the filthiest attitude and made snarky remarks such as its gonna look the same and look, I told you its the same while rolling her eyes. It did not look like the chocolate oreo shake as advertised outside, nor did it taste like chocolate. The milkshake was horribly bitter. Do not buy it, its a waste of money and extremely overpriced for the amount you receive. Im really disappointed in this service as I have been a customer for 20 years. Do better

It was before 8am on a Monday morning, the restaurant was clean, friendly staff ready to assist. This is definitely the best McDonalds restaurant I have visited. Whether you are visiting with your family or just a close friend, they cater for everyone. Definitely my new favorite.

I bought the new Oreo Chocolate Milkshake today and it looked and nothing like it did the first time I bought it from another Mc Donalds not too long ago. There was no chocolate flavour in the shake!! So disappointed with the service I got from Mc Donalds N1 City.

Ive never seen a McDonalds like this one on that day! Drive through backed up miles and not moving, needed a quick snack. Parked, went inside, 1 teller, 1 queue, 25 people, not moving! WTH? I went to ask if they could possibly get a 2nd teller!! Crazy! They couldnt get it together so after 5 minutes I left. Come on peopleTheres room for improvement. Hopefully it was just that particular day? Will try them again maybe and update this review

Great quick burgers, better than their other branches

This is one of 3x McDonalds I frequent this side of Cape Town. Usually pretty decent and efficient service, although I have noticed a drop in quality or care of late.Burgers are often thrown together with no care (i.e patties/filling etc hanging out the side of the bun) and more often than not fries have been cold. My last order, this week, the fries werent even warm. Ive mentioned this to the tellers before and all you get in return is a shrug of the shoulders. Id rather go to Plattekloof branch, but its usually too busy, with long waiting times.

Prices is more than other Mcds and i dont know why all the mcd play area is still closed as to a place like Spur. But rules is rules and i understand. Other than that the service is good and staff very helpful.

Long lines and the service is somewhat mediocre. the staff are more eager to get the food to you in whichever state and are not as friendly. they also water down their cooldrinks where it tastes like a fake version of the actual drink

Took my grandson for kiddies meal. Great service. He loved his food.

I placed my order inside at 19h48. By 20h10 i asked why I was still waiting for my order because people placed orders long after i did and left already. The cashier was not even apologetic when she came back to tell me someone accidentally marked my order off as served. I got home and part of my order was those little nugget bites which I shall return to them in the morning. They are dried out little pieces of chicken. What waste of my time. Disappointing service.

Must say, McDonalds have really reached new lows with how much smaller everything is getting. Next time you bite into your McDonalds burger, check how thin the patties have become. Disgraceful. Shame on you McDonalds.

Prices on the drive thru have not been updated in more than year. The food is good but its confusing looking at the prices on the board and then paying more at the pay point. This needs to be corrected at most or their franchises

If I could give 0 stars I would because the service at McDonalds N1 City was very poor. First of all, it is very behind in design and doesnt have the self service machines inside. And as we get to the counter we were not greeted, our meals were cold, our cold drinks were flat and warm and they didnt have things that they should have like milkshakes or sauce that we wanted.
