Always a good choice to go eat at John Dorys. Good food prepared well and very friendly staff. Their sushi very nice as usual.

My Mother and I had a delicious early dinner at John Dorys N1 City. Great Covid protocols in place and followed, food was fresh and appetising. Their food prizes are competitive and their meals are very well prepared. The restaurant is very clean and neat. Staff members are polite and friendly. The restaurant complies to the covid 19 regulations which makes you feel safe.

I ordered a meal on Sunday & wasnt happy with what I received so I complained. The manager Ricardo contacted me after the complaint & agreed that what I received was not up to John Dorys usual standards & arranged to replace the meal at no cost. I am very impressed with the manner in which he handled the situation & for going out of his way to make things right. He personally delivered the complimentary meal to me earlier today. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal today & will definitely be buying from John Dorys again!

Went to N1city and thought id try John DorysHowever my experience got ruined by a very incompetent waitress called Lisa, she gave my daughter a menu and rushed us to order, then she brought us the wrong drink order, when i told her about it, all she said wasoh did you? no apology nothing and she gave such bad customer service and is clearly a disgrace to have as a member of staff. Manager was very polite and tried his best to make me enjoy the experience. Lisa even had her cellphone visible for us to see, how unproffessional can a waitress be. Realy regret going to John Dorys N1 City.

Always a Pleasure to visit JDs in N1 City.

On Saturday I had a horrible experience at your restaurant. Me and my wife was placed at a table and I noticed the waiter had his mask only covering his mouth and not his nose. On further investigation the chef had his mask on his chin. That really upset me, I called the manager and explained to him what I saw and told him to speak to his staff which he did and I went back to my table and placed my order, I then looked at the directions of the kitchen and noticed that the staff continued to disregard the rools of Covid-19. I got up and left. How can a manager be so disrespected by his staff?

It was my very first time to eat supper at a John Dorys at N1 City seeing as there are no John Dory restaurants currently in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. Maybe someone can see a business opportunity here? The sushi and the seafood was great! As well as the service and the vibe! We went to watch a movie at the cinema right next door afterwards so it is well located in the shopping mall. All in all it was a good first experience!

Sifiso was a good waitress, the service was very quick and she did something awesome she brought my kids food first they ate and once they were done they went to the play area and then they brought our food and we were able to enjoy the food. On the other hand the quality of the food was not like when I first went there. It was still good but the first time we went there it was great.
