Honest and real review is what shall follow.Although it was not open for a few days as per their signs, when they did open we treated ourselves to some gourmet waffles for lunch while on honeymoon. Incredibly clean inside, though outside in the kiddies play area (Which is closed due to coviid) we saw a high chair with some old waffles bit and toppings on it. However, this did not deter us from enjoying some sugar packed and deliciously sweet waffles. My wife had a Nutella and Brownie half and half combo and I had a Honeycomb crunch. I could not finish my large portion served with amazing chocolate ice cream but I did smash it when I got back to my room for midnight snacks!The service was a bit slow in terms of getting drinks and food but in fairness, there was only one chef and one server and I think they did really well in terms of managing everyones expectations. I only wish there was a branch in JHB so my wife would stop reminiscing on the pleasure she experience when devouring, in one sitting I might add, her wonderful waffles!

Delicious waffles. Coffee and tea for us is best enjoyed in ceramic cups rather than glass.

A really great spot to just sit down and enjoy an afternoon treat or even an early morning sarmie. The place has a nice relaxing vibe & is very affordable. Will definitely be returning to try more of their drinks & waffle flavors.

Fantastic range of waffle based food which was excellent on a rainy Winters day. Friendly staff and great service. Generous proportioned helpings and perfect for taking the kids while adults could have more substantial fare from the menu.

The waffles are delicious and with a large variety of waffles to choose from you will be coming back to try the other ones.Their selection of beverages is also very different from blueberry lemonade to different fruit shakes this is a great place to quench the heat.The shop is clean and the service is great. Great waffle based meals, both sweet and savoury versions. Waffles can be ordered with different flavours such as original, Bar One or peppermint crisp with different syroup flavours and vanilla or chocolate ice cream or cream, or combinations thereof. Fast service. Reasonable prices.

A great find near the Just Nuisance statue. Friendly, helpful service with great tasting waffles and ice cream! They also serve toasted sandwiches, wraps and amazing coffee.The restaurant has a small play area, has outdoor seating, high chairs and is a few steps away from the harbour.Definitely a family friendly choice!

Amazing waffles and insanely large sundaes. I had a great time here with a involved and attentive staff. I cant wait for my next visit. The smells of the waffles have been haunting me since I left the store. I have found myself craving them and needing them and if it werent for the fact that they are in Simons Town and I live an hour away, I would go get one right now.

While wondering Simons Town, my partner and I decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The original intention was get try some of their amazing sounding waffles, but then saw their savoury meals (sandwiches and wraps, etc.) and though to have that first and then the waffles.Sadly we were we full after the delicious meals! And I didt have space for a waffle... but I have made it my mission to eat the waffles next time were down at the Cape! :)I had the Chick Jagger wrap (so delicious), and my partner had the Mr Pickwick sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

I enjoyed the view, it was clean, it had a play section for the kids, the staff were friendly and just the right amount of attention give, we shared a berry and honey waffle, my partner enjoyed it, for me the waffle was over done and the batter was likely dense. the strawberry milkshake was better than ones ive had other places and great presentation, the chicken and mayo sandwich came with lays chips and i always think thats odd, however the partner advised it was a nice sandwich, my daughter didnt think so. overall a nice pleasant experience, however i wont try the waffles again.

I had one the best waffle i ever had in my life during my visit in May 2019.

They have nutella waffles with real hazelnuts! Need I say anymore? Of course I chose chocolate ice-cream (you can get cream or vanilla or a vanilla & chocolate mix). The staff made me feel welcome and special. It is now my new favourite happy place (^-^)

Waffles look amazing and are presented nicely when they arrive to your table, but unfortunately the look and taste dont go hand in hand. Waffles are thick and heavy not warm or they are not made fresh and ice cream isnt proper ice cream as it melts in a matter of seconds. Quite disappointed.

Not bad but would be next time ask for less syrup and perhaps get healthy berry compote as an option with more fresh fruite etc.

Really good waffles with lots of variety. Unfortunately no vegan options, but my parents loved the lemon meringue waffle. Will definately take them back if i am in Cape again.

Drove all the way from Table View to try these waffles and boy, was I disappointed. Flavourless and the whole setup seems careless. Asked for the syrup to be served separately; picked the bottle up and there was syrup all over my hands. I requested to have half of my waffle to go - the container returned to me had chocolate sauce all over it. The chocolate milkshake tasted like they served melted chocolate to us - when the waiter cleared the table, we said he can remove it, wed pay for it, but wont be drinking it, the owner asked the waiter why we sent it back. The waiter responded with that we found it too chocolately - to which the owner responded well, what did they expect? Its a chocolate milkshake That attitude is really not necessary - we didnt even complain! The ice cream served was more like sorbet and had melted water crystals all over it that melted onto my waffle - gross. Utterly disappointed. What a waste of money, fuel and time.

Quaint dessert shop with nice views of the harbour,one of the widest selections of desserts I have seen in the area. I had the Fudge Picasso which was absolutely scrumptious. Definitely worth popping in when you visit the area in future

Man were the milkshakes amazing! Definitely the place to go to for a milkshake and anything sweat in this area. Everyone is very friends too and they cater for pets!

Cnt really get waffles wrong can you? Waffles are pretty substantial in size and they dont skimp on the toppings, share them to avoid food comas.

Was great, had a banana split and berry blaze glaze sundae, to many whipped cream, next time i will ask them to leave out whipped cream, but awesome place love it👌🏻🤗

The waffles we were served looked fantastic but they were hard and stale.When I asked the waitress if the waffles were made today she told me she does not make them, I could ask the manager. The manager then said that they were in fact made the day before. Very disappointing. Management did not even offer to take their stale waffles off the bill.

Had smoked chicken sandwich with cranberry jus. Beautiful presentation, very fresh and yummy salad. But the cranberry jus overpowered the whole sandwich, which was far to sweet. The milkshake and coffee was very good. The waffles looked very yummy and everyone around us raved about them. We were just to sick to try the waffles. Will be back on another day for the waffles.

I have gone back again and again for their lovely waffles and friendly staff. I love their banana and caramel waffle and the Nutella waffle. I was however a bit disappointed in the Ferrero Rocher waffle. Their sandwiches are also very good. I will definitely go again to try another waffle.
