What I receivedHow my doggy bag looked after a bit of touch up at home... Same ribDont know if its change of time... Management... Or just this perticular Spur... But I really misses the old Spur feeling

Legendary Spur, beautifull location overlooking the ocean. Went their for a quick meal and coffee and they didnt have sweetner. No problem, the manager immediately send someone to go and buy me some! Excellent service. Food is always good and I go their often. Staff is friendly en I never wait long for my order. Please if you are in the Strand area again, pay them a visit.

Not bad. Change waiters in the middle. New waiter does no know the order properly. Never came back to here if we needed to order more. Have to pay at the counter, because the waiter was missing in action.

The food wasnt so great. We got old or burnt onion rings and had to send them back. The chicken wings were dry and tough.

There was always something special about Strand Spur. I do think they need a new fresh remake and use new marketing strategies. Obviously Covid doesnt make it easier but id use video to attract and communicate with my clients. Like Helderberg Happening which is super established and brand name. Spur gives really great service but the energy is gone.

This restaurant has a large space, very great place for family parties and offers pre-bookings. It has nice view of the Strand beach and the main beach road. Its situated in a great area easy to find. They offer the best steak and burgers

Value for money ...Monday special..burger R60.00 thick pattie fresh bun Crispy chips.. grilled to my requests.. medium.added bonus R20.00 for a waffle...which was shared between 3 friends. All in all an enjoyable afternoon with the added bonus of looking out across False Bay .

Food delicious as always, cant see the aim of only using every second table if people are sitting back to back.... Had to sit far from window and missed the gorgeous view, please reconsider....... Just imagine in a airoplane we are sitting so close to each other, but at the restaurant we you sitting back to back. You have to sit miles apart..... It make no sense

No star rating today. I realise it must be the hardest thing ever to manage through Lockdown but we waited a long time for our order. The order was wrong. Admittedly we should have double checked the slip. The burger we asked to be pattie and roll had garnish and basting sauce once expressly asked for all to be excluded. The chips all tasted terrible. We had to top at at kfc. No salt in the packet. Worst spur experience ever. We were the only ones there for takeout so I would have hoped for goodl service and good food.

The restaurant needs an upgrade, however I have heard that its moving. The centre itself is tired and unappealing especially the upstairs section. The service was good and the coffee delicious. The views are great and there is ample parking across the road.

Get a relaxing evening. Ray was a ray of sunshine, and Tasha some good conversation. Kids enjoyed the play area (mask and all). All round a pleasant evening.

We were welcomed very friendly and the manager came around often to hear if we are still happy. Over all I felt very welcome.

The staff were friendly.The food was stale. Onion rings were definitely not fresh. The patty on my burger was dry/over cooked.Service was mediocre at best. Due to the lockdown the number of patrons were limited. Took quite a while to get service.Wil return to Spur, but will think twice about this specific branch.

Enjoyed the steak special. Steak was done to my liking and it was lovely and soft and tender. Service was not so good. But still enjoyed the time I spent at the Spur.

Service was a little slow but it was a Sunday evening so I didnt expect much. Portion sizes are great that being said we went there for waffles which no one enjoyed. Mine was undercooked and falling apart at the same time. The waffle base tasted like cake and was way too heavy to enjoy. The starter mushrooms and wings mother in-law had seemed perfect and they werent stingy with the portion either.

Great breakfast. Tables are comfortably socially distanced.
