What a breathe of fresh air! We stumbled across Kleinsky’s and were instantly drawn in by the gorgeous decor. The food did not disappoint, and we were surprised by the reasonable prices. Friendly service with lots of smiles. Feels like walking into an old school diner with modern twists. Will return!

All I care about in this world is eggs Benedict. I’m not saying that this place is the only place you can find the best eggs Benedict (on a rosti) - but it is definitely where you can find one of them.

The best pastrami and bagels in the Western Cape. Love the variety of the bagels, from the traditional to the onion bagel. Delicious Pierogi - Polish dumplings with cheese & potato. Chellah French Toast - also recommended. Tasteful decor and good service.

What a lovely place. A very clean and spacious restaurant to have a quick fix, do some work, or hang out with friends. Interior design is modern and comfortable. Service fast and friendly.More importantly, the bagels are top-notch. I had the pastrami one which was exquisite. I couldnt leave without trying out something else. The tuna melt it was. Also very good, but not as good as the pastrami one. The latte coffee was on the same level. So yeah, 5 stars no doubt!ps: they even sell the typical Dutch cookie snack Speculaas . can i give a bonus star :-)

Ordered two bagels for takeaway. Service was good but the bagels were not up to standard. The avo was completely brown which made up majority of the bagels. Always had good experiences there so was disappointing.

Breakfast was good excep hollandaise sauce was not very nice.

What a great venue ww discovered whilst walking the streets. It was busy on the first day so we returned. COVID protocols are good. Ans the food is so amazing. Bagels are wonderful and service is excellent with a smile. A must visit when in Cape Town. Those bagels......

Nice soup and ball. Mostly Tasty food. But hygiene standards seem limited. Food sometime looks or tastes old. Gives you a runny stomach one in five times. Good luck with that lottery.

This place was special as we had my wifes birthday breakfast there. Menu was so interesting we wanted to try everything.. Food was great and cant wait to go again and again.

Probably the best eggs Benedict Ive ever had. We ended up buying bagels for lunch also and the California was soooo good and the bagel so fresh it was phenomenal really cool decor and a cool concept love this place.

Had a very pleasant breakfast at Kleinskys this morning. The coffee was really good and thoroughly enjoyed my challah French toast. The restaurant is very busy though, and quite loud on the Seapoint Main Road. The service was decent though despite how busy it was.

Popped in to this little Jewish Deli again this week and tried something new. Had The Rachel, slices of turkey with Russian sauce, slaw and pickles on the side on toasted bread-was delicious. Love this spot and keep going back. Gets quite crammed but also great to pop in for some takeout bagels or quick coffee.

Nice coffee shop with outside undercover space in Seapoint’s busy Regent Road. Sit at one of the tables inside for a bite to eat and a chat with a friend, or sit on one of the high stools close to the road and watch the people pass by. The coffee is nice, the staff is friendly.

First thing that strikes you is the warm welcome when you open the door, eagerness to assist and a friendly attitude. Really fresh bagels and flavored cream cheeses at a better price than NY bagels 🥯 in City Bowl. Coffee well priced at R22 for a cappachino and tastes good. Really vibey on a Sunday morning/afternoon, people waiting outside to be seated. Good music playin in the background making it a feel-good Sunday. They are moving end of Aug 19’ just down the road to a bigger spot. Well done guys👏🏼

Kleinskys has the best Reuben sandwich in Africa. After Schwartzs of Montreal, Kleinskys Reuben rang all the bells. The meat was beautifully prepared, the rye was perfectly baked with just a hint of carroway, the cheese was perfectly melted the sauce possibly a bit too generous. The dill pickle and the coleslaw were also excellent.The restaurant was impeccable in design. Cleanliness and service were to point. Since we had a take away the packaging was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful meal. I will certainly be back.

Trendy delicatessen, was buzzing when we arrived. Food arrived relatively quickly and the bagels we had were absolutely delicious....and there is a large variety to choose from. The floor manager (Colin), was actively involved and friendly. Will have to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Its a nice little cafe but I didn’t find anything special except their lamb bacon which was pretty good. I ordered salmon and poached egg, it was ok, nothing to really amaze about. It’s a cafe to grab quick breakfast. Two things I wished they done better 1) trained their staff to be a bit more friendly towards customer, my waiter was really moody and Its not the first thing I wanted to see in the morning 2) their orange juice, it had a really bad after taste, I think the flavour from the peel is mixing into the juice and it creating a bad taste. I also ordered coffee which is ok, they really need to figure out a best cup to serve latte! Just during the meal, the manager came up to me and checked everything which is good. Overall, I’ll definitely go there for a quick breakfast but I’ll have to adjust my expectations on few things

Good breaky and lunch option... they had a breakfast menu, soups and sandwiches. Coffee and drinks were yummo too. Definitely a good option if you are looking for quick meals. Also bagels were delish. We ordered the pastrami and egg hash which was decent.

Decided to have a walk on the Promenade, and before my wifes Hanger kicked in we decided to pop into Kleinskys. Staff were so friendly then we move onto the food wife had the Salmon Latkes... 10/10 and I decided in the Reuben... Again phenomenal, the meat was fatestic. I ended taking half the sandwich home as the portion is solid. Definitely recommend a stop and shop.

The owners have since contacted me and fixed the issues.On Friday I called to pre order 20 beagles which I was told they do not take pre orders, so I drove from noordhoek.The lady I spoke to at the desk says they do take pre orders, I was like well let me just get what I need I’m here now.There where over 10 beagles at the from and the lady asked if I didn’t mind SOME cut, I said it’s fine. Paid and left.When I got home ALL 20 beagles where cut and most where soggy (wet and squishy)I called to complain and I was told the owners would call me and I said I’d come back.The next day the manager called and asked if I was coming in and I said no, I still have work and it’s a far drive and that I am just really disappointed and frustrated with the service and it’s a far drive.I am yet to get a call from the owners as promised.I am truly disappointed in the service I have received.

I cannot express how much my family and I love the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. It’s heavenly and the bagel, salmon and cream cheese ratios are perfect. We’ve had 4 or 5 in the past 2 days. Will definitely order again.

My partner and I spent a lot of time in the US and indulged in our fair share of bagels and Reubens, but I have to say - nothing comes CLOSE to Kleinskys. We had the Lamb BLT and the Reuben, you can taste all of the ingredients were so fresh and made with love. The Rye bread on the Reuben was soft and flavoursome, and their Russian dressing is the perfect combination of tangy and sweet. And in regards to the Lamb BLT (we had it on the Everything Bagel) - its TO DIE FOR.The restaurant itself is unique with stunning art on the walls. The staff are very attentive and management is most helpful too.All in all - a fantastic experience.

These guys go above and beyond the call of duty. The sea point shop will sometimes stay open even if I call 8 minutes till the close to place an order because I forgot lunch because customer service at Kleinsky’s is equal to food quality - 5 star!! My first time at Kleinskys and although the food was tasty (Chicken Burgers) The lettuce on the burger looked like it had been picked off the rubbish dump.. on calling the Manager he agreed and took it away... How can this be allowed to happen? Woolworths is close by to get lovely fresh lettuce.

We found this by chance and were absolutely delighted. The bagels were really light and crispy. We shared a BLT (with lamb bacon!) and a pastrami bagel, both were delicious. Good ambiance, a nice light space and great service. Would recommend!
