The restaurant was an experience on its own. Exquisite service from our server Gibson. The hostess was polite and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty. Really a 5 out of 5 experience!

This is a great restaurant. Staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and always such generous portions even when it comes to kids dishes. The play area is a winner and therefore perfect for families. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!

I had by birthday party with La Pineta 1 Oct 2021 and from the min o made my online booking, to confirmation, email from the office welcoming and confirming our appointment, phoning to make the table bigger and they just handled every request with such passion, appreciation and love. This was a highlight. We had such an amazing evening with family. Play area is AMAZING!!! We will most def be back. Thank you for your amazing service.Oh and the food was amazing!10/10

A lovely scenic spot, large kiddies play area.Had breakfast and thats where things fell apart a bit. We waited for quite some time to have our order taken and then the order was incorrect with one of our meals alongside many pieces of very burnt toast.We will be back to try the lunch menu, maybe we will have a better experience then....

Would have preferred a healthy option for kids, not just the usual chicken strips, chips and pizza. My daughter ended up eating the salad on the adult plates. My son devoured the pizza. Food is delicious. Pizza crust was super crunchy and thin base.. Burger was juicy.. Jalapeño poppers was hot and spicy.. Calamari was tender.. Service was fast and friendly.. Portion sizes are huge

This is a wonderful place to accommodate the entire family. Great menu selection. The food was delicious. The kids had the best time playing outside. Inviting ambience. Good food takes time to prepare so do not be in a hurry.

Exquisite! A trip for us down memory lane. My parents used to live in Somerset West and in the 90s attended this restaurant often. It was one of their favorites! My Dad passed away and Mum always wanted to return so we did last weekend and we only had brunch but it was lovely. The food, the ambiance and the setting. Absolutely amazing. Great for any meal, their chilli poppers will blow you away and all other food is yummy. Massive grassy area and kids play area, yet far enough for couples to dine without kids as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

It has been a long time since I visited La Pineta and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the food is still as good as I remember it being. A beautiful venue for any occasion. Friendly staff. They also have a lovely play area outside for kiddies.

One of my favorite restaurants. The owners are absolutely 💯 service champions. It is rare to see such involvement. The food is well prepared, service is on point and kids have ample play ground.

Big disappointment... That I have only just found this place after frequenting the Stellenbosch area for so many years. This is by far one of the most beautiful gems ever. The restaurant is very well laid out with lovely areas with wonderful bay windows that open right back. A spacious deck that literally overlooks the whole of the Cape flats all the way to the Table Mountain range making for exceptional sunsets. The lawns are meticulously looked after along with the gardens and childrens play area. The play area is populated and well kept and with variety and all in excellent working order.The hostess was incredibly welcoming and attentive and quickly had our chairs changed out for two of our guests with back injuries, without us even asking. Her waitron and bar team were all super attentive and showed a solid culture. I heard many regulars catching up with the staff.On the way in I also noticed a wonderful reception and banquet area for parties (in the pics herewith) entirely separate but also with great setting.I was afraid to order as I didnt want the exceptional experience to possibly be tainted by mediocre food. Well, they totally aced that as well with every dish and the paired wine being exceptional.So Ill quench my disappointment of missing out on this amazing place by making it my go to every time Im in that area in future.

Excellent restaurant. Everyone at table of 11 people enjoyed the food. Steak, salmon, prawns, pizzas, pasta, nachos.... All excellent. Dessert too from ice cream, tirimasu, Don Pedro and coffee was enjoyed by all! On Entertainer.

I decided to try out La Pineta after driving passed it so many times to and from tastings Ive done in the area, I am glad I decided to see what all the fuss is about. The atmosphere is just amazing, especially during sunset. Theres a lovely play area for the little ones and the staff are all just too kind. The Gin and Tonic on tap was really nice and I loved that the beef burger came with both salad and chips, so I didnt feel so guilty having carbs. U cant wait to visit again, thanks for making us feel welcome here.

Lovely interior! Friendly hostess, only downer was the long wait for food, we ordered our main together with our one starter but it took a considerable time to come and even after asking about where it was it took some time, no particular reason for the delay was given. The mains, steak were average, dessert was better and they made a bit more effort, in terms of a birthday message which was nice thank you.

Had to say that this place has it all. a nice kiddies play area , large grass area , jungle gym, sand pit, the works everything.Food was excellent would definetly reccommend this place for parents with kiddies. It was just great and the scenic view is awesome.

Had the best time with the kids. They loved the play area with the awesome jungle gyms and super large sand pit. The large play area was enclosed and open - so we could also relax a bit.

Definitely the best view over vineyards and out to Table Mountain.Fantastic food, excellent kids playground.And a special shout out to Adkins: our waiter went way beyond the call of duty to resolve a kid’s tantrum by having a patient conversation about dessert with our tired little boy who was sulking outside.
