New owners have taken over the restaurant in the last year or two, and their food game has definitely improved since I last visited in 2018. Some really fun and creative dishes, and sourcing some great local produce. Great value for money and the service was superb.

The farm to table experience is as described and the slow cooked lamb was a stand out.The produce was on point with wines to match.

What a beautiful setting. The farmstyle setting amongst the vineyards and under the trees is an incredible experience with your close friends and family. The menu is seasonal, generous and absolutely delicious. The Perfect Sunday lunch.

Beautiful and authentic winery place with restaurant that offers great service and freshest food available. No menus were given only dietary needs were asked. It is ran by a couple that make sure to locally source every ingredient or get the freshest one available in town. In my case, I had a gazpacio (cold tomatoe soup) and white fish as main dish with smashed potatoes, butternut squash and salad. It felt like eating at home in terms of simplicity but also deliciousness. Price-quality was a positive surprise. Finally, the idea of eating outdoors in the garden was just super relaxing. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a good wine, good time and good food!

We were very privileged to be guests at De Meye Wine Estate for a wedding ceremony and reception. The grounds are beautiful and it doesnt get much better with picturesque vineyards all around you. The staff were incredibly attentive and always made sure we were topped up with wine and filled up with canapes. Now the best part, the food... The menu for the specific reception was vegetarian only and we were blown away with the scrumptious flavours and varied textures and fragrances. Even the meat lovers were well and truly satisfied. The chef is a master craftsman and culinary entertainer. Oh the wines are delicious.

De Meye has a lovely range of wines but the restaurant (The Table) offers an amazing set menu with great, attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere. The food is perfectly seasoned and cooked, with local ingredients sourced from nearby farms. The lawns are lush and green with plenty of room for the kids to play on. Comes highly recommended!

Very friendly lady at the tasting room. Operating hours on the website and Cape wine app is not correct though. Was there 10:45 and left just before 11:00 as they were not open for tasting as yet. Visited other farms and went back just after 15:00 for some wine tasting .
