Amazing atmosphere. Set on the hills in Stellenbosch, this wonderful hotel hosts incredible views of the valley. The single-malt whiskey tasting is an absolutely wonderful experience for the senses. It has a calm and laid back setting, so you never need to feel out of you depth if youre an inexperienced whiskey drinker.the staff are kind and courteous and made everyone feel welcomed. We were helped by a wonderful fellow named Goodwill whos charm really made the time we spent there feel special.Whiskeys: 10/10Food: 10/10Vibes: 13/10Absolutely worth the trip.

The whisky pair is a must for whisky lovers. The whisky and wine pairing is done in the lounge/bar area. Relaxing music playing in the background while you enjoy your pairing. They have an extensive whisky selection, so sit back, relax and enjoy trying some of the other whiskys they have. A delicious lunch at Flavours restaurants after your pairing is a must.

We went for the Sunday lunch buffet at Devon Valley Hotel restaurant and was well impressed with the views, service and the food. The views from the hotel are breathtaking to say the least. Since it was autumn the fields and vineyards were painted in shades of greens, browns and reds. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was brisk and attentative. All covid19 protocols were adhered to and the experience was appreciated. Highly recommended.

Awesome atmosphere, with good service, good prices. They also have a very cool pizza special going (not sure for how long). Definitely worth checking out!

The service was great and Edgar and his team were outstanding in attending to the guest of Winston and Carol Barnes 40th Anniversary celebration.

On Saturday we booked a buffet breakfast for a group of 30 guests. We were very disappointed when there was no buffet available and we were served a cold plate of food that we couldnt even choose from a menu. Purhaps if a booking is made the customer could be let know in advance that the offer they are booking for will not be available. A response from Management would be appreciated, as I had to apologise to the guest that I invited.

Our company booked for 4 days here, first they mixed up the halal food, in fact there is no halal food. Our rooms were not cleaned “due to covid”. Food came late. I’m just lost for words how incompetent everyone here was.

Devon Valley is a beautiful hotel with established gardens and stunning views.They were very accommodating when we had to move our dates due to our wedding needing to be cancelled due to Covid. When we checked it the staff were helpful and friendly. As my Fiancée and I got to our room we were greatted with rose petals on the floor in a heart. A really nice detail that was unexpected and appreciated.We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time enjoying the facilitys on offer.If you are looking for a quiet stay in the Winelands you wont be disappointed.On a side note the only real thing we felt could be improved on was serving of rooms. Currently due to Covid they werent serving the rooms during the stay. A small thing but fresh towels ect would have been appreciated.

What a dissapointment! This was our regular Sunday afternoon tea and scones stop. Post lockdown the Devon Valley Hotel has decended into the abyss of mediocrity. Loved it while it lasted but have never felt so unwelcome.

Lovely location with stunning views, attentive staff and delicious tea time treats. A most pleasant Saturday afternoon enjoyed in the beautiful Winelands.

Had a great stay! The rooms where very clean and the view was amazing. Nothing quite like waking up on a vineyard before a long day of meetings. Devon Valley Hotel is such a beautiful venue! Whether you need a place to stay, a venue for a conference, a dinner with a view or just feel like going somewhere for drinks, you cant go wrong with Devon Valley Hotel. Each room is equipped with a Handy, which basically means you can put your personal cell phone away. Make free international calls, take photos, post to social media, all on the house! At the bar you will find a collection on gin and whiskey (ask to do a tasting). The food is amazing! Everywhere you look, it is green. Beautiful gardens! Tall trees! An amazing venue for any occasion!

We planned a luncheon here for 60 people for my parents 25th Silver Jubilee Anniversary and it was everything we hoped for. Aside from the extraordinary scenery and location, Mr Edgar, the general manager, was incredibly accommodating and very supportive. And the staff were super friendly and professional. I am more than happy with the experience!

Hotel staff always go the extra mile. Great venue for small and medium group facilitation. Situated in quiet surroundings. Load shedding impacts on energy availability, however this does not detract from the overall experience and suitability.

Nice venue for wedding

Venue is perfect for conferences or workshops. As a getaway from city life its very quiet and serene. Food is wonderful. Gave it a 4 because all the soups were very salty for me would have appreciated given the option to add your own. Felt very safe, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The grounds are pretty relaxing. Great views and staff is friendly...if you catch them at a slow time. They do try hard but it at times seems lackluster.DO NOT order the milkshakes. Too sweet, too runny and honestly, should not even be on the menu. I believe they use a powder for the flavoring and for this reason should be scrapped.I went here as a teen and returned to find that the grounds got better but food took a nosedive for the worst.Not a ton to do at this location but if relaxation is what you’re seeking, they have it In abundance.

Beautiful country hotel, close to Stellenbosch but far enough up the valley to feel like deep wine country. The food is very good (we only visited for lunch) and worth trying the estate wines. Try the lamb shank.

The view is beautiful and the cappacino and the scones were quite good. We only come for coffee, but the Sunday lunch looked really good.

Sat outside surrounded by a beautiful garden, trees and a great view. All the staff were friendly. Bathroom nice and clean.Oh and the food, very tasty. I had the pizza, it was devine on a very thin crispy base. Had a piece of the salmon quiche that came with the meat platter. Oh my! Delicious.Will definitely go back.

Very cozy and comfortable, has the feel of a typical high-end English club. Staff is friendly and helpful, service is prompt, there is a nice small library, decent bar, and good food. The rooms are reasonably spacious though not every room has a fireplace. The residential blocks, however, are showing their age.

Conference held at Devon Valley estate. Great attentive service from all staff, from reception through to serving staff. Rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable.

Fabulous place. Ticks all the boxes and the views are incredible. Staff so friendly and helpful. Sitting on the patio in the evening where they lit log fires was so relaxing.

Beautiful, charming hotel overlooking vineyards and mountains. Variety of rooms to suit every need. 2 restaurants and more than one pool. The main hotel pool is large and set amongst the trees. Food is good quality. Youll never want to leave.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We were treated like royalty. Rooms were very clean and neat, our room was made up beautifully and the staff were very nice and friendly. We ate at the restaurant twice and both times it was excellent. I can definitely recommend the pizza. The breakfast was incredible with so much food available and such a wide variety. Overall one of my favourite places Ive ever stayed and we will definitely be back.

Flavors restaurant was amazing, the breakfast buffet is delicious and worth every cent! The cold buffet is definitely the better option with the salmon, pastries and lovely fresh variety of cheese, nuts and various preserves! We will definitely be going again!

Fantastic venue.

Flavors lived up to expectation and reputation.However Personally i do think service and presence of staff in Ladies bar can add value to the whole experience, especially if you arrive early for lunch to enjoy the surroundings.A Pre Lunch drink can only be nice.
