The waiter was very friendly and the food was really good.One thing that made me abit upset to see was the Sushi Chef that didnt have his mask on properly at one point and he wasnt wearing gloves (I know not everyone works with gloves but because its covid I thought its a must)All the waiters wore their masks which was great to see.

Wow! Really impressed by this OB today! Got a very friendly waiter by the name of Handsome. We got our food in a coupleof minutes. Enjoyed a very lovely meal and had absolutely no complaints whatsoever!

So they forgot to add the prawns to my take away order, buuut customer service was so helpful on the phone and they fixed my issue in less than a day!The food was also pretty good and the staff + manager were incredibly helpful.

I love eating fish and chips on there cosy deck on a hot Summer day. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Quality of the Ocean Basket food offerings really seems to have deteriorated from a good food product and very efficient service to a very mediocre food product offering to much slower service. It was a continuous battle to find our waiter who was eventually replaced by another waiter - without informing us. We have visited 2 different Ocean Baskets in the last 2 months and food quality was also also down from many previous experiences. It used to be a regular quick (and sometimes longer) meal on our schedule. It is obvious now to see the Ocean Baskets with OB being almost empty compared to all the other restaurants around them bustling with patrons... Really a pity...

Ordered a platter for one and it came in 5mins, looked and felt like food that was prepared long ago and reheated. The calamari was brown and rubbery and even the lemon had changed colour.

Their platter for 1 fish was rubbery and their seafood buts had sand in it. We asked for u to be fixed and their washed fixed seafood was super salty. Our lunch date was terribly ruined. I would never recommend this ocean basket at all because both platters were prepared with very old stock , salty and Sandy or rocky. Terribly disappointed

Prices have gone up alot after lockdown, but then again so has everything else. Trying to make up for revenue lost in lockdown can work in the short term , but it will just push old loyal customers elses where.

Service was ok, food prices drastically up and portion sizes reduced. We had two separate meals that was not cooked thoroughly being a calamari 3 way and prawns.. It was extremely quiet and expected more but was disappointed...

Our breadrolls were old and received fresh ones after complaining. Had the platter for two which was ok except for the calamari that was chewy and the fish overcooked and dry. Not very impressed.

Usually very good. Had n bad ecperience with very noicy customers, very rude and used very bad language. Management could not controle him so he stayed and bulliedthe rest of the patrons. Left bad taste in my mouth and I prefer not to visit them again

Quick and friendly service

Bread rolls were old, could not even bite a piece off, were like rubber. The Calamari was just as tough. Called manager, he just said sorry you are the second person complaining. That was it. Will not support them any longer.

Service was excellent, the Food was good, not what we were used to get though. Fish was tasteless and the calamari like chappies.

The fish wasnt good its was full of flour and the grilled one looked like the fish from the water and never cooked. very disappointed really 😞😞😞😞😔😔

Was last here in March with my family. Food was extremely average by usual Ocean Basket standards, not bad but not much better than Fishaways. Rain also leaked on us from the outside roof above our table. Its a pity as its in a good location.

Nice big outside area that allows good social distancing. Looking out over car parking is not the greatest view and not particularly quiet but at least a restaurant to go to during lockdown. Menu and food is consistent with Ocean Basket standard.

Service from waitress was quite good. Managers need to learn customer service. I ask for one prawn, Im told I need to pay for it. And I oblidge to pay.initial price R8 then told R19. No feedback from manager as to why the price is now double to the price he gave me. Another manager comes to ask if all is OK. I ask her to talk to my waitress to get detail. And she also does not bother to come back to me.Guess Im my request was insignificant. Will try another ocean basket maybe I will become a fan of prawns.
