Ordered for delivery. I am so so shocked and evening ruined. Was the food packed by a machine? How can you send dead and dried food. How can someone pack something that is visibly burnt. Ordered platter: calamari and heads burnt, fish burnt, prawns and mussels not burnt but hard and overdone. I was too hungry to return, had to eat what was edible and throw the rest. Not ordering again, I would rather eat eggs and sleep if cant cook

Food was well prepared.... staff was a bit slow, not sure if they were short-staffed or they just weren’t being attentive given that the place was about a third of the full capacity.Other than that, the food was good . The bread and butter was super yummy and I hardly like any of those.....really liked the presentation too. :)

Terrible service especially when buying takeaway, food was disgusting not satisfying at all. I will never visit again. I had terrible bad experience 3 times. I believe Kyalami would do better than you guys.

The service was amazing. I didnt wait long for my food. I ordered grilled fish and rice with butternut and spinach on the side. The cafe Latte mmmm. The presentation was on point. They served the coffee and milk separately so you can mix to your own preference.

Excellent and friendly service from Lucky the waiter. Franco the manager suggested the med salmon salad. It blew my mind it was s delicious! Will definitely support them frequently.

When visiting in the past we had great food and service, however we opted for call(placed & order on the app) and collected and had a terrible experience.

Worst order for collection service ever, the quality of take away food is appalling. Had to ask them to change my fish which was burnt, I checked because the last time I ordered I had to eat burnt fish at home which I couldnt finish.To my disappointment when I got home and started eating I found the calamari to be hard and didnt taste fresh at all , and the prawns 😭I ended up eating the fish and chips.What a waste of my money!!The waitress Boitumelo was good though.

The quality at even the same Ocean Basket fluctuates greatly. Dont expect haute cuisine and also you are not paying those prices. This visit the prawns were good and not overcooked. The chips were particularly good for a change. The hake was good but the calamari were tough and rubbery. It was served with almost cold rice which was poor. Generally reasonably happy. I got what I paid for.

We ordered five different dishes for take away. 3 dishes including fried and grilled fish and calamari, were terrible.The fish and the calamari were cold, hard and dry... I am very disappointed and unhappy about the for quality.

Convenient, easy and quite. Loved the atmosphere a d had a peace of mind having a meal here. I would go back there over and over again. Its in a very upmarket shopping centre. Would recommend it to anyone who loves enjoying a meal in peace, this is the place to be.

There was a problem with one of our meals, and they immediately made it right. The manager stopped by several times to make sure everything was resolved.

I just ordered sole with a side of spinach and butternut from UberEats. Everything was well prepared except the spinach. It was so full of small stones.D you know how impossible it is to chew when the food feels like it will break your teeth? I had to leave it alone after two attempts at chewing. Please pay more attention to the washing of the spinach beforehand and if it is too much trouble, rather leave it off the menu. That was a waste of my money, unfortunately, because I cannot eat it.

A lovely dining experience at the Blue Hills Mall Ocean Basket. Tue atmosphere was great! The food was prepared to perfection and the staff so so friendly. The service was fast beyond reproach. Id highly recommend this restaurant!

I really like this OB. I usually get their rainbow rolls or hake with a side of chips/veggies, which I always enjoy... except when theyve overcooked their spinach. Service is good, waiters are friendly, attentive and accommodating. Even ordered on Mr Delivery and food came as expected.

Food wasnt good .suffered with food poisoning . Wont visit this location again

Worst Ocean Basket ever. Terrible service, cold food, watered gin, incompetent waiter and curdled tomato sauce. Needs better management and training. Obviously riding on being close to local residents.Edit: 7 months later.... the seats are dirty but the waiter is so friendly.

The service was okay, but more attention should be placed on orders.I had to reminder the waiter that our order has taken 20 minutes and its sitting at the window ready to be collected.This is nothing new, around closing time their service does take a dip.Food is standard across the whole food chain, but to be honest I got served what was meant to be King prawns, but those didnt look anything close to Prince even.But that aside, I believe they have to take care of these little things :*Presentation of take away food.* Service around closing time.

Awesome service, the food is fresh the way seafood should be and you dont have to wait more than 20mins for your take-away to collect order. The waiters are also great, friendly and fast to get your order so I love that.

Got sushi here and it was great however they didnt give soya sauce. How on Earth can you miss that? Had to eat it at home 5 hours after lunch with my own sauce
