We arranged a birthday party for our 9 year old daughter at Stages and had great service from the staff and especially from our waiter Siya. They went out of their way to assist with all our requests. Food and drinks were great. Highly recommended.

Disgusted by what has happened at this restaurant. My husband ordered the fish and chips as it was the healthiest item on the menu, so that he could share it with our 22 month old child. I checked the fish when it arrived and although it smelt slightly fishier than normal, it seemed ok and tasted ok. TURNS OUT IT WAS NOT OK! My husband and child have both had food poisoning for 48 hours now. We nearly rushed our toddler to the ER and my husband even got a Covid test to rule that out (negative). My husband will be going to the doctor today to get tested for a parasite as he is showing all the symptoms of having parasitic food poisoning. How dirty and unsanitary must the conditions be at this restaurant for two people to get so terribly sick from the food!

Not a bad restaurant considering its in the heart of the Johannesburg Zoo, the menu is rather limited and the pricing is slightly high but overall the food is good and service is fast and friendly. However its not very child friendly which is a pity as most people visiting the restaurant have kids.
