Chariots bar & restaurant has a decent Italian food menue, awesome pizza and tasty penne served pretty fast at affordable prices. Good vibe on a Friday & weekends!

We are so happy to see that the Chariots Bar is open again! As always the food, service and beer were all great, but it now comes with a beautifully renovated and stylish patio area. It really is an amazing experience everytime we go there! Thank you.

A very fun place to visit if youre a sports person.

COVID protocols are important. Bureaucracy is not. Unco-ordinated, box ticking, inflexible covid form filling makes no sense. Doing so bending over a cracked table in the foyer is not exactly a 4 star experience. Especially when the next interaction is to ask you why you are here (ask first if there are numerous options) and then redirect you to a different site where the process must be repeated. Staff just doing what they are told. This is a management issue.

The day South Africa won the 2019 world cup. We had an awesome time. We all where united under the same green n gold blood... What an exciting experience...

Excellent venue-caters for any occasion you could think of-has superb array of function areas, friendly staff and able assist and suggest creative solutions-don’t be fooled though, you get what you pay for-no more, no less. The chefs and catering guys know their stuff and come highly recommended. Convenient location, easily found, ample parking and great security makes this a preferred banqueting spot.

Wanderers is always a treat for any sports lover. A fantastic menu ( excellent prices).🤫 The atmosphere and the staff always friendly and welcoming. Making you feel right at home...

I do like the wanderers club setup. I mostly play action football at Wanderers Discovery park but the facilities available and the club as a whole is always well maintained, monitored and a great safe experience going there.

Adhere to rules and regulations of covid, it has more courts to accommodate players. The ladies rooms are so clean

They treat the regulars brilliantly, fast service, charismatic waiters and the manager even sits down and chats. But the new customers or those they don’t know or deem less important, they basically ignore. Would not recommend it at all. Unless you want to wait for hours and literally beg for service. Even though the restaurant has been revamped, the service is still abysmal and the same problems have come through. The food is decent but it doesn’t make up for the service.

The best sports club in JHB, the restaurant is a bit pricey food is ok, they do however make the best wood fired pizza , no frutti di mare on the menu though.

Was a great day, we went there for the PnP Wine Show. Everything was well planned and organised.The price for tickets was a bit steep, but if you had to look at the amount of wines available for tasting it was actually well priced.The biggest let down was that they didnt have enough food stalls.

My experience here has been really amazing, the Stellenbosch Wine Festival was even greater. Its great here I guarantee it 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

One of Joburgs oldest sporting clubs, offering a wide variety of sporting facilities (including lawn bowls, squash, a hockey Astro, tennis courts, 5 a side soccer & more) to members and their guests.The clubhouse has both a pub (offering a slightly fancier than normal pub menu) and a formal restaurant.There are several function venues that can be hired and the venue has some very pretty garden areas.A childrens play area is also available in the garden.

Amazing cricket venue

You have to carry your ticket with you at all times, because they check it everytime you go out to purchase food and drinks.The vendors selling food and drinks are extremely expensive. Take all your savings with you....especially when you take your kids. They need to regulate these vendors, as you feel that you are in another country.🍗🍟😡😡

Large sports complex with multiple fields and venues for different sporting codes. Note that parking for large events can be problematic. The traffic on Rudd Road tends to back up because cars entering through the main gate drive in one by one. Key tip is to get onto North Road from the Melrose Arch side to avoid this.

Some of the guards arent friendly. Aside from that I have nothing bad to say! The facilities are fantastic and its free to enter. The club is also well maintained. There are also a ton of sporting grounds of all categories and many people there to ensure a good social sporting vibe.

The soccer field is beautiful and affordable, clean toilets and there is showers... Oh and dont get me startes on their pizza!!😍 too great

Located near wanders cricket stadium. They have several activities such as bowling, tennis, cricket and indoor soccer. They usually host discovery indoor soccer tournaments. Cool and nice vibe from this area, youll be exposed to several sports. Clean and secure parking. Its a nice place to watch sports on a weekend

Good food excellent service the Wanderers never disappoints. Massive portions too so perfect for teenagers. Can get a little noisy though so ensure to choose seating area carefully for business meetings. Thanks again for great experience.

Have been several times to the venue and has always been good. There is a variety of chairs to choose from and different areas so you can choose which type of environment you like.I have had the pasta, pizza and Fish. The fish is good, not the greatest. Pizza is good with a variety. Pasta is good for the price.

They were so welcoming the place is so good to host any event.. Nice photo area.. open space. I loved the place and its so clean..

I was at the restaurant to do a shoot for a private function. The venue overall is well-maintained and secure.The grounds are immaculate. The buildings have an air of age-old wisdom about them which is enchanting.The Guitar Expo is usually held here every year too.

Have never had a bad experience whenever i visit Wanders. Great place for events, conferences, training sessions and so much more. Its also very clean and has beautiful surroundings. Very central location for most areas in Johannesburg. Plenty of parking.

Amazing for all your sports needs

Good conference facilities. I was writing an exam in one of the conference rooms. The exam was 8 hours long so it was very important that we were comfortable. Absolutely no complaints.

Weve watched rugby matches and the world cup rugby final there, South Africa won emphatically. It was great and the team of waiters in the Wanderers were as great. How often de trays waiters were carrying were bumped due to the crowd in the bar I cannot count, beer was spilled, bottles knocked over and glasses broke but the waiters kept on smiling.Excellent service, good simple food at a fair price.

We visited a showing of the art, prior to a sale by Strauss and Co - Art Auctioneers at the Wanderers Club. The venue is well suited to an Art Exhibition, with lots of space and good lighting. The venue also catered for the exhibition, with tea and coffee and some snacks. The venue also has a restaurant with tables outside for those who are happy to brave the winter chill. The menu catered to a range of tastes and the food was well prepared and tasty. There were some delays in the service offered, but generally the staff were responsive and polite.The gardens surrounding the club are impressive and the views of those enthusiasts playing bowls was also entertaining.That venue is certainly worth a second visit.

A great place for people who want to stay active. Green grass, fresh air, nice place. I was there for the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge so there was a shortage of parking. Im not sure how the parking situation is on a normal day

We had our college graduation there today. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The venue was prepared to our specifications and the food and catering in general was of a high standard.
