Review Edited....There are those few staff which dont care...but more care than those which dont. I overlook so each experience is different. I am there 6 days a week...After going there to the shop for the past 26 days there is actually no reason for me to accept mediocre service. All I can say is the team which was there on Monday 02/08 is helpful.

Here you will find all the veges you desire and more. Not to mention the different types of cheese, so much to choose from. Also bought some affordable good quality Beef and the guys at the butcher area are very helpfull.All my Vege shopping will be done here.

Its a real beautiful market because you get all the variety of food stuff in one place..fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, fresh assortment of bakery, food, wine and so much more at a great value. Being at Food lovers market is like being at my happy place, totally love it!!!

Sometimes the muffin cakes has egg shells inside. The way they changed or arrange the stock is not good and you find that other items are not on stock but its still there...cooked meal food is awesome.

I buy most of my breads, fruits, vegetables and meats there since it was called Fruits and Vegetables. The prices are reasonable and services are good. I only do not like their bacons. I hope the quality of bacon can be improved in the future.

Make sure you go there with your own car, because if you going to request and Uber/Bolt they wont pick you up because of those bully meter taxi drivers

This store has absolutely everything, fresh produce in vegetables and fruits. Butcher area. Fish. Breads, pies + pizza. Eggs. Cool drinks, sweet + biltong. They always have specials.

I was annoyed with the cashier 11, Akalani Tshikota, when paying for my purchase today. I hope this message gets to you... Dear Madam, while you look annoyed with the tedious task of cashing groceries, there are 100s of people out there who would love to have your job and will be way better doing it than you. I had to wait for you to first finish your conversation with another cashier before calling me forward to your till, you didnt bother to greet but only asked if I wanted a bag. I said no thanks I have my own bag. You proceeded to scan my groceries and dumping them on the counter with no concern that I am paying money for those items. You then stood and waited for me to pay while I had to pack my own groceries in to the bag. You should be so thankful that you have a job in these difficult economic times that our country is facing currently. On the other hand, the gents at the hot food counter and the bakery were super helpful and friendly. Everyone greeted and told me what was fresh and good to have and even offered to warm my pickings.

The quality of produce at Food Lovers Market is absolutely amazing, there is always a great selection of the freshest fruits and vegetables!Their value combos and sales are even more to look out for, we love their fish section with very eloquent mongers (ask them to prepare a spiced whole Yellow Tail for you and you will thank me!).One of their priced sections is the spice alley, they cater for all types of cuisines and the FLM at Parkmeadow, Bedfordview in Johannesburg even has a Asian/Oriental section that is just brimming with those hard-to-find sauces and oils.Parking is safe & free so you can take your time doing that big grocery shopping trip!

Stopped by here to have a quick bite... ordered a burger (with bacon and avo) and to my surprise I got this monstrosity of a burger!!! It was amazing and exceeded my expectations by quite a stretch!The store is pretty awesome too, well laid out, clean with attentive staff and security.

Was treated like a thief at cashier when buying a box of guavas. The box was packed with what the staff thought was extra. Even when I told the supervisor to check how they are packed they refused and made me feel as though I was trying to steal 1 extra. They eventually removed the extra and we still payed full price for their negligence.

Its like alot of other Food Lovers Markets, nothing stands out or makes it any different

A Very Good selection of fresh food but you need to know your prices not always the cheapest. Grapefruit by the Kg ?? May be they didnt want to sell them.

Nice big Food Lovers, with a mini spice island similar to Greenstone, but it is much smaller that the one in Greenstone. Other than that, theyve revamped the space and opened it up a bit more which makes you a bit more excited to explore everything theyve got. I enjoyed going there and we got all we needed ❤

An OK experience. Not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. Parked close to the store & was in/out in a jiffy. Picked up a lovely fresh fish while getting fruits & vegetables.

It has affordable wide variety of products, the till operators are friendly and fast, I didnt encounter any problems..I love the fruit and veg section it has fresh products, then their deli, I love the barbacue chicken , its well cooked.. its definitely the place to do your grocery shopping

Bought the condensed cake last week and it was full of egg shells. Every single bite had egg shells. Ended throwing it away.Yesterday morning, I saw one of the old white guys who was wearing a black food lovers golf shirt using his bare hands to sort the mini pies out. Never buying anything baked from thos food lovers ever again

Nice special but it doesn’t help if it is not tied up to your tills. Your teller told me it was for 2 strawberries and a blueberry. Back i went and corrected her. The Supervisor was then called and sided with the teller, after a second walk to the other side of the shop i had to take this pic to prove what i was saying. Wasted 20 minutes of my time. Should the customer have to sort out your bad controls.

They sell rotten vegetables imagine having to drive back n return them .. this is the second time it happened this year. disgusting
