Generally the service is ok but when I returned a product which was clearly of bad quality, the gentleman that was advised to assist me said that there was nothing wrong with it. The excuse he gave me was that their machines cut the cheese in that manner. The attitude was totally unacceptable and left much to be desired for an organization that claims to sell fresh, good quality products. Im still awaiting the mugs from the Marvel promo that just ended.

It use to be worthwhile to drive to Food Lovers Market to do your fruit and veg shopping.But now I find the prices relatively expensive in comparison to Pick n Pay, Checkers, Spar and sometimes Woolworths.Rather just save petrol and shop at your local centres or support small business fruit and veg vendors instead.

Still the best store for your fruit and vegetables where you get the the chance to choose items you like and are not held to buy items per packet. Keep up the spirit of freshness and good value.

The lemon meringue pie sold in a box at R 28.00 was not good at all, sorry just being honest rather make it better even if you need to charge more

Adverts of this retailers advertd look absolutely amazing depicting great quality fruit and veg. I could not find a red apple on the shelves that was not bruised. The quality is not that great in stores. This is misleading.

I just got back from the store. amongst other things, I bought fish and chips. Please do not make the same mistake that I just did. The fish and chips are so old that the chips are difficult to bite into. Ive had to throw the whole meal away because Im pregnant and cant risk getting food poisoning. I honestly dont understand why anyone would think its okay to sell this to people!

Good products. Nice and clean. And good specialsHowever on more than one occasion the cashiers dont seem to eager to call on the next customer in line. You stand there awkwardly for a bit and they look at each other as if none of them wants you to go to their vacant till.

Liked my first day here. Shop attendants were helpful to my enquiries.

Is this the place where they send the almost expired stock from other branches. The food has a very short shelf life as opposed to other local retailers products. The bread rolls are almost always finished by 16h00, most people leave work around 17h00. Get there to find crumbs. I dont waste my time anymore and go elsewhere. The staff try but the management never interact with low lift customers. But hide away in their office. Have only noticed them on the floor repermanding their staff. The interior looks dark and gloomy.

Worst store by far always has no stock, choc crossisants and price always wrong on shelf. Staff are so unfriendly and while at butchery sections,the guy and lady behind counter where fighting so loud in front of everyone. Manager is also not friendly. Store is a horrificexperience!!!!. Bakery manager is clueless

Food lovers at Comaro Crossing is always such a lovely shopping experience. They have great specials and a nice layout. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have found that their fruit doesnt last very long. A few days at most which is disappointing. Butchery is great and I always find specials. The kebabs are a must.

I have been to many other Fodd Lovers stores in more affluent areas and wow, what beautiful stores and great quality products. I am beginning to think that they discriminate on the people that live this side of the world. Get your act together or get out....

The fruit section has small flies and a rotting fruit stench., especially near the apples. Peaches and plums as well. I have bought Anat breads here which were molded. I am afraid to buy anything further from here on.

They place the same produce from multiple sources under a special (all in the same location/banner in the store) but have said special for only a specific supplier or brand. When you pay you may be charged for the more expensive brand without knowing it. Bad

Friendly staff, except for the ones at the bakery, the lady was very impatient.

Always nice shopping here they have good specials and prices. They have the best hamburger patties, plain cheese and with chillies. They do not shrink like patties from other places but stays big and juicy. Their breads and malva pudding is awesome and the have the best biltong with chillies called babelas bolting.

Food Lovers Market is great store, a few good bargains if one is prepared to hunt them down.Its better to visit in the morning much of the produce will be fresh and more available. Iv visited on a few occasions, as this shopping center is a distance from me .

Trolleys always grubby. No prices on a lot of stock especially veggies, prepackaged veg. Coleslaw mix went brown the next day.Spent R748 and had to pack my own groceries with 2 little bags I brought. Wasnt asked if I needed bags until after I paid. Not great overall experiences.

It was my first ever visit to food lovers.The shop is big, clean with the sanitors.You dont get lost,where ever you there SB to assist you.As a Xhosa woman from EC I was very much overwhelmed, in so much that I drop one of my half card, not knowing that it has fallen, I paid and I went to the car, when I was packing, one of the sales lady, come to me and showed me that, wth a very nice voice ** Sorry Mama, is it not you, in this picture*** Wawuuiu!!! I was so taken up.You can forward this compliment to the two ladies that attended the Xhosa Woman Speaking Xhosa who dropped the card, and was followed by one them.Thank you Happy Christmas

The best food Lovers shop in Jhb

Dissapointed in the quality of the 2 pizza Slices, tasteless, hardly a topping and a thick doughy base. Chips were rock hard, could not eat them. Very dissapointed.

We absolutely love food lovers market for the great specials, but unfortunately we were disappointed with our purchase, a week ago we bought some Samoosas and on our way home we gave our kids as well as myself and my husband ate, to our surprise the Samoosas were rotten, we then turned back and went back to the store and was refunded, i did explain to the manager that because this is food it could lead to food poison especially because kids is so sensitive. My husbands stomach was cramping as well. I had to take my daughter to the doctor because she was sick was vomiting and a runny tummy. we had to take her to the doctor, my son was in the same situation as well. I missed days of work just worried about how sick my kids are and how much weight they lost. I think by far this was not a very nice ordeal that happened to us, especially because we are regular customers of Food Lovers Market
