Amazing place to get fresh food! Love it! Wide selection. You can even enjoy some sushi. The fruit at Food Lovers Market is always fresh and the canteen area has a wide selection of delicious food to pack and take home. Highly recommend this place for fruit, vegetables and meat.

Love a fresh foods grocer! And they have a large variety of everything, always busyWish they wont put the baked goods so close to the fish though 😅 the sushi chef was preparing food with bare hands which made me return the sushi selection tray to the ice.. The eating area outside is lovely and seems quite popular. Its nice to have the option of dishing from the prepared foods additional to selecting off the food menu. My dad loves this place for a Sunday meal, rice and meat and veg. Worth the price.

I visited this FLM, because my friends told me its one of the best.Even though FLM prices arent value for money.These were the positives, that I noticed in this store:1. Pensioners had priority queues even though it wasnt a Wednesday, they took initiative to announce it on the intercom system to let other customers know.👍2. I watched one of the staff members picked up a piece of paper in front of me, even though I could clearly see he was actually busy with another task.3. For a very busy day, they seemed organized, queue werent a extensively long wait to reach a till point.

Clean, fresh, amazing and the best. Kudos to the owners the restaurant is amazing especially their buffet, the meals are cheap and always fresh and taste yummy. I give them 10 🌟 ⭐

A very big Food Lovers Warehouse with mountains of fresh produce from potatoes and butternut to fresh garlic and herbs to bananas and apricots. They have an extensive and reasonably priced meat section and often have specials on ribs and biltong. A large bakery fled with sweet and savory treats as well as a lunch / takeaway section with pizza, burgers and sandwiches.

You can obtain your poultry, vegetables, groceries and fresh beautiful bakery. You can have a full breakfast including coffee for R29-00. Unbelievable. Very convenient shopping.

We did not buy anything. We ate at the cafe. Toasted with chips and a pizza. Would not recommend food at all. The waitress was nice and the table was sanitized and clean.

Good variety. Avoid the previously frozen items put out as they tend to go off on the same day and thaw out completely before being purchased. I have had a bad experience with the chicken in the past.

Always have a wide variety of fresh produce and cababiry items. My new favourite is definitely the oversized choc chip cookies. Get the 2:1 ratio of vanilla:choc. Ul thank me for it!

You can always tell when the employees at an establishment are miserable and it greatly impacts their customer service. A short coloured female cashier with blonde hair and pink acrylic nails was extremely rude to me twice and even screamed at me! I was so put off I left while my husband sorted out our things. Even my actual cashier was visibly embarrassed.

Perfectly situated and easily accessible from various points. The service is fast and efficient.

If I could, I would closer and shop at this store everyday. Service is amazing, beautiful setup, I always find what I need here. Its extremely clean, thats very important to me.

Although I cannot find any major faults with this particular branch, there has been times where I have bought croissants or baguettes from the bakery section that were not a hundred percent as fresh as they could have been. I cant really rate this particular branch better than three stars I simply cant. It has nothing to really push it to the next level to make it an outstanding shopping experience.

No matter what time of the month it is, Food Lovers will have great deals that change constantly. This allows you to keep within your budget and to come home with different groceries each time. Great to have this.Their fruit and vegs are always competitive and the meat specials are great too. I dont buy general groceries from them though, because prices are far better from Checkers, but youll struggle to get everything else at Food Lovers prices.

I bought, what was called a lamb stew pack (frozen). Upon unfreezing I found that it was more a bone stew pack with very little meat. The little meat that there was was very tough - it is definitely not lamb. Shame on you to sell such rubbish. Do not fall for frozen packs of stew meat it is a total scam.

Honestly doesnt have the largest selection of items but its not bad . Managed to some things I needed. The till points are very organised and there is quick check out so I liked that .

This is a huge store with a bakery and fishery section as well. Shelves are always well stocked and the prices are amazing. Be weary though, some of the fresh produce has a short shelf life.

• This place has EVERYTHING! Everything is affordable and you’ll find things that you never thought you’d need to use/eat.• Make sure you try one of the mini-cakes (BarOne flavour) from the bakery as well as the Doughnuts.• Also, during some Saturdays, I’ve noticed that the Biltong and DroëWors is R179.99/kg which is a steal. While we’re on the topic of the Biltong, if you’re not in the mood for Plain sliced Biltong, then try the Spicy Barbecue flavour (you can ask to taste the Biltong) and, unless you’re willing to waste money on something you’ll have to force yourself to eat, do not order the Babelaas flavour because IT WILL HURT/BURN YOU.I gave it 4Stars because I bought a box of pineapples here a few weeks back and when I got home and took one out to eat, I broke the head off the pineapple and a dry grey powder came out of it and when I looked at the base of the pineapple, there were tiny insects in it that resembled lice. The other pineapples in the box were okay though and I visit this store at least twice every week

Foodlovers Market Hillfox Trade Centre, situated on the corner of Rhinoceros Rd and Hendrik Potgieter Rd, Weltevredenpark , is probably the best and biggest Food Lovers foodstore in the greater Johannesburg metropolitan area with the widest range and variety of foodstuff imaginable, a true one stop shop experience.Please look at my photos that displays most of the different speciality counters too many to write down.

Every time we go to this store we are amazed. They always have great specials on and the service is just remarkable.Today my husband and I went to go make use of their amazing special on milk (3 x 6L for R200). We paid and made our way to the car, offloaded all our groceries and my husband forgot his wallet and phone in the trolley.Blissfully unaware, we make our way home and only realised then, that he was missing his belongings. He immediately drove back to FLM, remembering that he placed it in the trolley. Once there, the security team and management sprang into action to have a look at the security cameras.One of the cleaners found his wallet in the trolley when sanitizing the trolley and turned in the wallet to the security management. Furthermore, they managed to track down 2 patrons who found his phone in the trolley and the phone and wallet were returned back to my husband.We highly commend their speedy recovery of the lost items and will always shop there happily, knowing that we and our belongings are in good hands.

I bought a piece of carrot cake at Food Lovers Market today to have at home. It was very dry and not pleasant to eat. I couldnt finish it and through away most of it. I dont often complain but feel that any food, cake, anything edible whatever is served should be freshI visit Food Lovers Market very often, after shopping to have something to eat. I was very disappointed to taste the carrot cake which is normally very nice, very dry and tasted old that I discarded it. I feel that you should be aware of this.MJ van Der Walt

Disgusted! they need to stick to selling fruit & veg, even thats a stretch. Purchased a baked milk tart on Thursday 29th April only to find it taste burnt and the combined thickness of the filling and crust was the thickness of a thin pizza base. do these people think thats how its done?!13 May 2021 Update: I was told to email the given customer care email address. Their restaurant is amazing. You can actually do your groceries and take a break to enjoy a nice meal and a cold one. Just had a bad experience on my last visit this last Saturday where I had to remind the waitress to bring the drink that actually came with the meal on special. That actually happened twice I just didnt notice it the first time. Nevertheless I will keep on going there with my family they have amazing steaks we love so much...😊
