Great service from the manager. After ordering , I was made aware that they are Halaal and if I feel comfortable with beef ribs. The manager even offered to bring my order to the car as it was very cold.

I am from Dbn I came up to Jhb on business and I went to this spur. On entering everything was fine. I have my order in including starters. I received my starters and 4 min after that they bring my main meal which I did not finish my starters it was embarrassing. After I had finished my starters they bring my main meal. I asked for a hot plate but they brought me with a normal plate and the food was cold. I just had to finish up and go. Then I paid by card the waiter had put wrong amount and 8 had to swipe my card twice. Im from Durban and I have my meal at spur which is situated in The Atrium. The waiter even insisted I give a tip. Not on. Next time to Jhb I rather just pass to this spur. My bill was for R380 just a waist of money.

Ive frequented the Spur in Fordsburg for many years and have never been dissapointed. Ordered a cheddamelt steak, chicken schnitzel topped with creamy prawns, wings as well as crumbed mushrooms. Every meal was prepared and seasoned perfectly, staff are friendly and always aiming to please and the Toilet facilities were very neat.This has got to be one of my favourite halaal Spur branches.

By far one of the best steaks I had the pleasure of devouring during my visit to Joburg. The fried onions along with the fries is just amazing! I was dared to try chicken liver and to be honest it was not bad at all. I throughly enjoyed my experience and went back for another visit! I was very happy with the service.

Its Spur, its good. Its halaal.Just make sure they listen carefully to how youd like your steak. Otherwise no issues.

The service was excellent but sadly the meal that my husband and I had ordered was not what we expected. We ordered a cheddarmelt steak and 400g of rack of ribs. I asked for the steak to be done medium to rare, but was cooked well done and it was completely tough! And the ribs wasnt cooked well at all and was also tough. I was very disappointed and couldnt take it back as they were closed. The sad part is after a few bites, I got sick. I am absolutely disappointed and will definitely not be ordering from there again!

Really relaxed decor. Friendly service. Our waiter, Makhosi was brilliant. He made recommendations which were really appreciated by everyone. Had our steak cooked exactly how we wanted it. It was perfection.We did have a slight issue with 2 of the chicken burgers we ordered. They were overcooked and really hard to chew. Considering one of the 2 burgers was for my son. When we called over Makhosi and explained the issue. Both burgers were taken away, new ones made. Not a single question asked. This was absolutely brilliant.Superb service!Excellent food!Great atmosphere!

Went to have lunch today with my wife I ordered a normal meal my wife wasnt very hungry so opted for a kiddes meal just to give me company surprisingly we got told according to the rules you are not allowed to order a kiddies meal if your an adult even if you are paying for it. Ended up order something else and wasted half the food. Was disappointed the food is great thou.

My family and I love visiting pensacola spur, you could call us regulars as it is my daughters favorite place to eat. The staff and management are always friendly, we never have any issues and are always recieved with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere

The service was really bad, we understand loadshedding was going to hit the area and our food had to be prepared before it happened we were there for a kiddies party however there was no sauce or salt on our table we had multiple waiters serve us but none was in sight when we needed something

Spur in fordsburg has lost its touch,well the burger I bought had no taste and bun was dry like its old. Its embarrassing that the worlds best steak outlet is becoming the worst steak outlet in fordsburg.
